Gayant Expo is the exhibition centre and events venue of Douai, in the Nord. Managed by the Communauté d'agglomération du Douaisis, the site hosts fairs, trade shows, concerts and sporting events, and is one of the largest events facilities north of Paris.
Halls and surface areas
The centre has several ground-level halls, among them the Hall 5000 (around 5,500 m²) and the Hall 7000 (around 7,500 m²). Total surface areas vary depending on the sources consulted, between 14,000 and 15,000 m² of covered space. The site also offers modular meeting rooms, including the Espace Europe (600 m², up to 500 people), the Salon Marceline (300 m², up to 250 people) and the Salon Corot (150 m², up to 100 people). In a performance configuration, the main hall can accommodate up to 13,000 people.
Access and transport
The centre is located on Route de Tournai, in Douai, close to the Douai SNCF railway station. Road access is via the A1 and A23 motorways, in a central position between Lille, Paris and Brussels. Services
The site offers technical services (audiovisual, furniture, signage, security) and an events reception. Catering is not imposed on organisers. The centre does not provide on-site accommodation, but the hotel offering of Douai and the surrounding agglomeration is accessible nearby.
