The Palais du Pharo is the congress centre of the City of Marseille, set in the former imperial palace commissioned by Napoleon III, at the entrance to the Old Port in the 7th arrondissement. The site combines a historic building, including its imperial reception rooms and their panoramic terrace overlooking the bay, with a contemporary extension dedicated to professional events: an auditorium, an exhibition hall and modular reception spaces. Its seafront location and heritage setting make it a prime venue for the congresses, conventions and B2B trade shows held in Marseille.
Halls and floor space
The centrepiece is a 900-seat auditorium, complemented by an exhibition hall of around 917 m². The Palais du Pharo brings together some twenty event spaces split between the historic building and the contemporary extension. It is a congress centre rather than a pavilion-based exhibition park: the floor space is divided into reception rooms and halls rather than large exhibition pavilions.
Access and transport
The Palais du Pharo is located at 58 boulevard Charles Livon, 13007 Marseille. Marseille-Saint-Charles station is around 3.5 km away. Several bus routes serve the Pharo area. Marseille Provence airport is around 25 km away: a shuttle links the airport to Saint-Charles station, from which you can reach the city centre and the Old Port. Parking is available at the Q-Park Marseille Pharo car park, located right next to the entrance.
