Key facts
- AMWC, the Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress, is an international medical congress devoted to aesthetic, anti-ageing and longevity medicine. The format is that of a scientific congress paired with a large industrial exhibition: injectables, devices, dermocosmetics, plastic surgery, regenerative medicine.
- Next edition: the 25th, from Thursday 1 to Saturday 3 April 2027, at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes. This is a change of city: previous editions were held in Monaco, the latest at the Grimaldi Forum from 26 to 28 March 2026.
- Organiser: EuroMediCom SAS, a Paris-based company part of IM-Aesthetics, the aesthetic medicine arm of Informa. The scientific programme is overseen by the Aesthetic Multispecialty Society (AMS).
- Annual frequency, since 2003 according to the organiser. The 2027 edition is presented as the 25th anniversary and, in partnership with the A4M (American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine), opens up more broadly to longevity medicine.
- Results of the 2026 edition in Monaco: 17,688 attendees, including 13,087 delegates and 4,094 industry representatives, more than 350 exhibitors and 18,550 m² of exhibition space. For Cannes, the organiser announces the largest exhibition area in AMWC history, spread over several halls.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The organiser sorts its exhibitors into eight families, covering the whole aesthetic medicine chain: injectables and aesthetic treatments (fillers and biostimulators, botulinum toxins, skin boosters, mesotherapy, threads); aesthetic and medical devices (lasers, radiofrequency, ultrasound, body contouring, skin imaging); dermocosmetics and professional skincare; plastic surgery and clinical solutions, including hair restoration; regenerative medicine; longevity, prevention and wellness; digital health and practice management; business services, from subcontracting to distribution.
The lead sponsorship brings together injectable laboratories (Allergan, Galderma, Merz Aesthetics, Teoxane) and the list includes many device manufacturers. The origins are highly international: the country filter of the 2027 list already shows 31 countries, from Europe to South Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan, the United States and Brazil. This is a congress where selling happens: the exhibition is open to the public during the session days and the sponsored workshops (76 in 2026) let manufacturers demonstrate their products in front of practitioners.
Notable exhibitors
The official list of exhibitors and sponsors for the 2027 edition counted 216 companies on 10 October 2026, about six months before opening. At the top tier of sponsors are Allergan and Galderma; at the next tier, Aptos, Evolus, Fillmed, Laboratoires Vivacy, Merz Aesthetics and Teoxane. The list also includes device manufacturers such as Candela, Cutera, Fotona, InMode, Sciton, Sofwave, Classys, Deka and Quanta System, and dermocosmetics players such as Mesoestetic, Sesderma or Hydrafacial.
The list is updated by the organiser; as a benchmark, the 2026 edition brought together more than 350 exhibitors and more than 1,000 brands.
Visitor quality
The congress is aimed at professionals in aesthetic and anti-ageing medicine: aesthetic doctors, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, anti-ageing doctors, gynaecologists, ophthalmologists and oculoplastic surgeons, nurses, dentists, but also distributors and industry executives, with a dedicated category for students, interns and young professionals. Access to the trade show and the session rooms is forbidden to anyone under 18.
The 2026 results detail the make-up of the audience: 19.53% dermatologists, 19.32% aesthetic doctors, 13.48% aesthetic and anti-ageing doctors, 11.52% industry representatives and distributors, 7.42% clinics and hospitals, 7.34% aesthetic and plastic surgeons. The audience is highly international: 52% Europeans, 16% South Americans, 9% from Asia and Oceania. Brazil comes first among the countries represented, ahead of France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom.
On the exhibitor side, the 2026 satisfaction survey shows 9 in 10 exhibitors likely to return and a score of 4.3 out of 5 for visitor quality. These figures are self-reported: no OJS certification or third-party audit of attendance is published.
Activities & community
Conference programme
The scientific programme is built under the supervision of the AMS. In 2026, it included 103 scientific sessions, 681 presentations and 507 speakers across 12 rooms, with 18 European continuing medical education credits (EACCME) for the three days. The congress was also declared compliant with the MedTech Europe and EFPIA codes of ethics, a point that matters for manufacturers subject to those codes.
For 2027, the programme is organised into four tracks, DIAGNOSE, INTERVENE, TRANSFORM and PRACTICE, complemented by a SKIN SCIENCE PROGRAM. The announced themes range from clinical assessment and artificial intelligence to longevity diagnostics, from regenerative aesthetics (exosomes, PRP, growth factors) to biostimulators, energy-based devices, hair and genital restoration, and on to practice management. The detailed programme for the 2027 edition was not published at the time of writing.
Innovation Lab and AMWC Awards
The AMWC Innovation Lab, new in 2027, follows on from the AMWC Catalyst Stage launched in 2026 in Monaco, where 25 companies were selected and 6 received awards. Candidates chosen by a jury of around a hundred experts present their innovation on stage for 15 minutes and have a module in the Innovation Village, a 1,000 m² exhibition space. Applications close on 1 December 2026.
The AMWC Aesthetic Medicine Awards, now in their 14th edition, reward on one side clinical cases from practitioners, on the other products and devices from manufacturers. Application deadline: 29 January 2027; the winners are announced at the ceremony on 1 April 2027.
Community & networks
AMWC brings together a broad network of partner learned societies, including the SOFCEP (Société Française des Chirurgiens Esthétiques Plasticiens), the British BAAPS, the ESCAD, the International Peeling Society and the A4M. The 25th anniversary gala dinner is scheduled for Saturday 3 April 2027 at the Palm Beach in Cannes.
On the press side, the media partners listed include PRIME Journal, The Aesthetic Guide, Dermatologie Pratique and Gynécologie & Obstétrique Pratique. Sessions are rebroadcast on the AMS platform, reserved for its Premium members.
On site: what you need to know
The congress takes place at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, on the Cannes seafront, a five-minute walk from the Croisette. The congress's main entrance is Hall Riviera, on the ground floor of the Palais, directly accessible from the beach.
Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is about 30 minutes away by car or shuttle, and Cannes railway station is a 10-minute walk from the Palais. By car, there is direct access from the A8 motorway, with parking on site and nearby.
Delegate reception opens the day before, on Wednesday 31 March, from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Scientific sessions and workshops run from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm on Thursday 1 and Friday 2 April, and from 9:30 am to 5:15 pm on Saturday 3 April. The exhibition is open to the public from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm on Friday and from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday; the Thursday hours had not yet been updated on the official FAQ at the time of writing.
The working language of the congress is English; simultaneous AI translation is offered in more than 60 languages, on a smartphone and with your own headphones. Accommodation goes through the official Bnetwork platform, with a minimum stay of three nights from 31 March. The organiser warns against fraudulent websites offering registrations or hotels in its name: only the official website is authoritative.
How much does it cost to exhibit

| Innovation Lab: Innovation Directory registration (published rate) | €1,500 | €1,500 |
| Innovation Lab: stage slot and module, only if selected (published rate) | €4,500 | €4,500 |
| AMWC Industry Awards: product entry (published rate) | €3,500 | €3,500 |
| Team accommodation and travel, minimum three nights in Cannes (indicative) | €2,000 | €10,000 |
| INDICATIVE TOTAL, stand only (3 days) | ~€10,000 | ~€40,000 |
| INDICATIVE TOTAL, stand, Innovation Lab (if selected on stage) and Awards | ~€19,000 | ~€49,000 |
The stand is only one part of the budget at AMWC: visibility is also won through the sponsored workshops and the sponsorship tiers, negotiated directly with the sales team. Both applications submitted together fall under the “Ultimate Innovation Path”, announced at €9,000 in total, with the stage fee reduced to €4,000: this combined rate explains why the last total is €500 below the sum of the lines. On the visitor side, the Sponsored Workshops and Exhibition pass is listed at €260 until 29 October 2026 instead of €330, and the Scientific Programme pass at €850 instead of €1,120.
Planning your visit
For the exhibitor
- Book early: the organiser announces the largest exhibition area in the congress's history; contact the sales team for the terms of stand location and sponsorship.
- Align stand, demonstrations and sponsored workshops with the four tracks of the 2027 programme: this is the argument put forward by the organiser, and the best way to reach practitioners between sessions.
- For a start-up or a new product, aim for the Innovation Lab before 1 December 2026: the basic registration remains modest compared with a stand.
- Anticipate the compliance framework: a congress assessed in 2026 against the MedTech Europe and EFPIA codes, with strict rules on photo and video in the hall.
- Plan for multilingual teams: Brazil, France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom were the top five countries represented in 2026.
For the decision-making visitor
- Choose your pass: the Exhibition pass gives access to the sponsored workshops and the trade show, the Scientific Programme pass opens all sessions.
- Take advantage of early rates: the first tier runs until 29 October 2026, the second until 14 January 2027.
- Book accommodation through the official platform, with a minimum of three nights from 31 March, and be wary of approaches from resellers.
- Arrive the day before to collect your badge, which can be printed at home or at self-service kiosks.
CSR policy & initiatives
The congress website mentions an AMWC sustainability charter without publishing its content: the page only states that the teams seek to reduce the event's environmental impact. No ISO 20121 certification specific to the congress and no carbon footprint assessment is displayed. The subject is not trivial for an event where nearly one attendee in two comes from outside Europe in 2026 (52% from Europe), and where the organiser announces more than 140 countries represented every year.
At group level, the organiser belongs to Informa, whose sustainability programme is called FasterForward.
The venue provides verifiable guarantees: the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès became a company with a purpose (société à mission) in 2022 and holds ISO 20121 (responsible events), ISO 9001 and ISO 18788 certifications, as well as the Destination Innovante Durable and Tourisme & Handicap labels.

Trajectory analysis
Growth has been continuous since the end of the health crisis. In 2020, the congress went virtual, in November; in 2021, it returned to Monaco but in September, shifted from its usual spring slot. Since 2022, it has returned to late March and its progress is steady: 9,788 on-site attendees in 2022, 15,463 in 2024, 17,688 in 2026. The exhibition has followed the same movement, from 222 exhibitors in 2022 to more than 350 since 2024, with an area of 18,550 m² in 2025 as in 2026.
The number of exhibitors has levelled off around 350 for three editions, while attendance kept growing. This ceiling may help explain the move to Cannes: the organiser highlights the largest exhibition area in AMWC history, across several halls of a single building. The website does not say whether this move is permanent; the 2028 edition had not been announced at the time of writing.
The second shift is thematic. The congress has always combined aesthetics and anti-ageing, but in 2027 it widens its scope to longevity medicine, through its association with the A4M. For an exhibitor, this strengthens the place of players in longevity, biological diagnostics, nutraceuticals and connected health, already present among the eight exhibitor families of the 2026 edition, alongside the historic core of injectables and devices.
