Key points
- Architect@Work Bordeaux is not an open trade show: it is an invitation-only meeting reserved for architects, interior architects and other construction specifiers. The products on show are innovations selected by a jury of architects and interior architects.
- Next edition: Thursday 18 and Friday 19 November 2027, in Bordeaux. As of 10 October 2026, the organiser has not yet announced the venue for the 2027 edition; the 2023 and 2025 editions were held at the Parc des Expositions de Bordeaux.
- Organiser: Expo Conseil, based in Lille and listed by the Belgian Xpo Group among its companies for France; Architect@Work is part of this group's event portfolios, and the group itself came under the control of Easyfairs Belgium on 31 July 2026.
- Biennial frequency, in odd-numbered years, at the end of the year. The French network also includes editions in Paris, Lyon, Nantes and Marseille.
- Results of the latest edition, the 4th, in November 2025: 1,951 visitors and 226 innovations presented, on the theme "ARCHITECTURE EN SYMBIOSE". Attendance is stable compared with 2023 (1,957 visitors).
Who exhibits
Typical profile
Manufacturers and producers of building and interior fit-out products, coming to present their new releases to the specifiers who include them in their projects. Innovations are sorted into four families on the organiser's platform: technical equipment, building envelope and structural work, interior finishing, and software and digital services. According to the organiser's exhibitor brochure, participation is reserved for manufacturers with national distribution and for exclusive national distributors.
The selection principle shapes the offer: only products chosen by the jury are exhibited. A manufacturer therefore does not come to present a catalogue, but a few new products.
Notable exhibitors
No exhibitor list has been published for 2027 as of 10 October 2026. The official list for the 2025 edition has 99 stand listings, i.e. 98 distinct company names (ATELIERS3S appears at two stands). Sixty-two names are declared in France; thirty-six are declared in Italy (11), Spain (8), Belgium (6), Germany (5), Portugal (2), and Slovenia, the Netherlands, Poland and the United Kingdom (1 each).
Notable names included Cosentino, Delabie, Egger Panneaux & Décors, Geberit, Grohe, Axor by Hansgrohe, Jung, Bega, Laminam, Rockfon, Schlüter Systems, Solarlux, Finsa, Unilin Panels, Rubio Monocoat, Interpon by Groupe AkzoNobel, Tecsound by Soprema, Bolon by Artepy and Les Robinets Presto. The 2025 edition page showed Bradano, Kampmann and Rockfon as sponsors. Nothing indicates at this stage which of them will return in 2027.
Visitor quality
Access is reserved for architects, interior architects and other construction specifiers, by invitation only. The organiser's exhibitor brochure, common to all Architect@Work events, lists eight visitor categories, including architects, interior architects, engineering consultancies, public contracting authorities and developers, with no breakdown specific to Bordeaux. For the 2025 edition, entry was free after online registration with the code shown on the invitation. Final-year students in architecture and interior architecture are welcome; without an invitation code, they need to contact the organiser via the contact form.
The 2025 edition welcomed 1,951 visitors. In 2023, the organiser also reported that 1,039 people had activated their profile on its digital platform to contact manufacturers or follow the conferences remotely. No OJS certification or third-party audit of attendance is published.
Activities and community
Conference programme
The 2027 programme has not been published as of 10 October 2026. For reference, the programme announced for the 2025 edition comprised seven sessions over two days around the theme "ARCHITECTURE EN SYMBIOSE".
Thursday 27 November 2025: the round table "Territoires urbains, territoires ruraux : [Ré]aménager les cadres de vie", organised by Fibois Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Fibois Landes de Gascogne, with, according to the announced programme, Bordeaux Métropole and the EPA Bordeaux Euratlantique among others; a talk by FCBA, "Matières solidaires - Innovations responsables et engagées"; "Architecture organique en copropriété classique", with the practice Dauphins Architectures and the engineering firm 180 degrés ingénierie; and finally the round table "#5 Jeudis du réemploi", organised by GPV rive droite and the Ordre des Architectes de Nouvelle Aquitaine.
Friday 28 November 2025: "Architecture et Lumière : la symbiose parfaite ?", by a lighting designer; "Comment intégrer la neuro-architecture à son métier ?", with BetterAtHome; and "La maison, un artefact éternel", with the practice 4A Architectes.
The 2023 programme, built around the theme "Re-sources Architecturales", was produced in partnership with Le 308 and FIBOIS. For 2025, the organiser indicated that the talks could be watched again as a replay on the A@W Xperience platform.
Exhibitions and related events
In 2025, the edition page announced the materials exhibition "MATIÈRES SOLIDAIRES - Innovations responsables et engagées", devoted to materials, processes and systems developed in a social and solidarity economy approach, and the photography exhibition "MATERIA architectures", co-produced by the Pavillon de l'Arsenal, Les Grands Ateliers, amàco and the Association ouvrière des Compagnons du Devoir et du Tour de France, devoted to contemporary architecture in earth, stone and plant fibres (40 eco-builds announced, selected as part of the Materia prize).
Fibois Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Fibois Landes de Gascogne organised the presentation of the Public's Favourite Award of the 2025 Regional Timber Construction Prize there, and presented a photography exhibition of the competition entries. There were also works by the artist Alfredo Longo, made from cans, and the presence of the Mollat bookshop.
In 2023, the event hosted the exhibition "Cocorico - Innovations locales, résilience globale" by the FCBA's Innovathèque resource centre, the photography exhibition "TerraFibra Architectures" and the Regional Timber Construction Prize in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. No exhibition has yet been announced for 2027.
Community and networks
The partners listed on the 2025 edition page are the agency Creative Fo(u)r, which designed the stand concept, Fibois Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Fibois Landes de Gascogne, the Innovathèque, the Maison de l'architecture Le 308, UNAID and Unsfa 33 (the architects' union). This presence of timber-industry players and Gironde architects anchors the edition in the region.
On the press side, the page lists some twenty media partners, including AMC, D'A, L'Architecture d'Aujourd'hui, Archistorm, Archicrée, Exé, Batiweb, Architecture Bois, Séquences Bois, 5 Façades, Formae, L'Agenceur and Verre & Menuiserie.
Architect@Work presents itself as the largest community of architects in Europe: the official calendar lists editions in 13 European countries. Specifiers have an online platform, A@W Xperience, which extends the event: innovations, contacts and, for 2025, conference replays.
On site: what you need to know
The venue for the 2027 edition has not yet been announced: the event page shows "COMING SOON" as of 10 October 2026. The 2027 opening hours have not been published either.
For the record, the 2025 edition was held in Hall 3 of the Parc des Expositions de Bordeaux, cours Jules Ladoumègue, from 10am to 7pm on both days. The park was served by tram line C, Parc des Expositions stop, with a free shuttle to the entrance of Hall 3, and parking was free for visitors. This information will need to be checked once the 2027 venue is confirmed.
How much does it cost to exhibit
| Poste de dépense | Fourchette basse | Fourchette haute |
|---|---|---|
| Participation price: stand space and associated service package (indicative) | €4,000 | €9,000 |
| Visibility options on A@W Xperience (prices published by the organiser: from €1,750 for an article with newsletter to €3,800 for the most complete package) | €0 | €3,800 |

| On-site team for two days, travel and accommodation in Bordeaux | €800 | €3,000 |
| INDICATIVE SECTOR TOTAL (2 days) | ~€5,300 | ~€17,800 |
According to the organiser's exhibitor brochure, the price includes an “all-inclusive and uniform” stand (partitions, grey carpet, banner with the brand name, multimedia console, lighting, insurance, exhibitor badges, parking spaces, basic wifi), the approved innovation in the catalogue, a marketing campaign aimed at the visitor target group, an invitation tracking dashboard, the licence for the A@W Leads badge-scanning app and visibility on A@W Xperience (stated value of €750). The published terms and conditions provide for two regimes: standard conditions, with a cancellation fee of 40% of the participation cost more than 3 months before opening, 70% more than 6 weeks before and 100% less than six weeks before; and premium conditions, charged at 10% of the participation price, which entitle the exhibitor to a voucher for the full value if cancelling at least six weeks before the show; less than six weeks before, no voucher is issued and the full participation fee remains due. The prices of the A@W Xperience visibility options are those published by the organiser; discounts of 15% and 20% apply for two and three articles or innovation ads. Ask the organiser for actual prices.
Preparing your visit
For exhibitors
- Register early: the FAQ mentions an early bird rate for sponsorship packs.
- Choose between standard and premium conditions, depending on the risk of cancellation.
- Think about products in terms of the jury: put forward innovations rather than a full range, since only products approved by the jury are exhibited.
- Mobilise your own network of specifiers: access is by invitation only, and the organiser's exhibitor brochure mentions free invitations for exhibitors, with a dashboard to track paper and digital invitations.
- For a manufacturer targeting the West and South-West, combine Bordeaux with Architect@Work Nantes, which is held in even-numbered years, in November.
For visiting specifiers
- Request your invitation code if you have not received one, then register online and print your badge.
- Check the venue before planning your trip: it has not yet been announced for 2027.
- Keep the A@W Xperience platform for after the show: the organiser offers innovations there and, for 2025, conference replays.
CSR policy and initiatives
At event level, the Architect@Work website publishes no formal CSR policy, no carbon footprint assessment and no ISO 20121 certification specific to the Bordeaux edition. Eco-construction and reuse are, however, present in the content: exhibitions on the social and solidarity economy and on architecture in earth, stone and plant fibres, a round table on reuse, and a timber construction prize. This is programming, to be distinguished from an organisational commitment.
At group level, Xpo Group states an ambition to be CO₂-neutral by 2035 and details actions at its Kortrijk site in Belgium: heat pumps, LED lighting, solar panels. These measures concern its own site, not the venues that host its events in France.
As the venue for the 2027 edition has not been announced, no site commitment can be attached to it at this stage.

Trajectory analysis
Over four documented editions, attendance ranges between 1,500 and 2,100 visitors. The 2021 edition, held as the health crisis eased, marks the low point with 1,536 visitors; 2023 rebounds to 1,957 visitors (+27%), level with 2019 (2,061), an edition that the organiser says was boosted by the PRAd'A awards ceremony on the evening of the first day. The 2025 edition confirms this plateau with 1,951 visitors, six fewer than in 2023.
On the supply side, the 2023 results report 400 products and 120 manufacturers. For 2025, the organiser announced more than 300 new products before the event; the edition page then reports 226 innovations, and the official list has 99 stand listings, i.e. 98 distinct names. An announcement and a results figure are not of the same nature, and no manufacturer count is published as a result for 2025: changes in the number of exhibitors cannot be measured with certainty.
The most useful reading lies in the network calendar. Bordeaux (odd-numbered years) and Nantes (even-numbered years) follow each other a year apart, in November: for a manufacturer, this means one specifier-focused meeting each year in the West and South-West of France.
All data that do not mention a source come from the organiser's website.
Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (architectatwork.com).
