Trajectory analysis

bauma remains the world's benchmark trade show for its sector, with attendance above 600,000 visitors in its full-activity editions. The 2022 edition saw a relative decline, attributed to the post-Covid context and the shift to October. The 2025 edition confirmed the rebound and the trade show's leadership, with a base of around 3,500 exhibitors and an exhibition area of 614,000 m² (official bauma.de figures). The 2028 edition, from 3 to 9 April, extends the triennial cycle around the challenges of climate neutrality, alternative drive systems and the connected construction site. The target figures for 2028 will be published as the trade show approaches.
