Key takeaways

  • Beauty Profs Marseille is the professional beauty-industry event for the South of France: nails, eye beauty, dermopigmentation, expert treatments and cosmetics, beauty technologies, training.
  • Next edition: Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November 2026 at Parc Chanot, Marseille 8th arrondissement. Opening from 9.00am.
  • Organiser: Althea, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) registered with the Montpellier Trade and Companies Register (RCS Montpellier 509 131 496), chaired by Nicolas Florent, with Carole Florent as managing director. The couple took over the trade show in 2018 and moved it to Parc Chanot in 2019.
  • Free entry for professionals, on online registration: 1-day pass (Saturday or Sunday) or 2-day pass, at €0.00 on the official ticketing platform.
  • Three live competitions at the trade show: Nailympion France 2026, Lash & Brow Masters (5th edition) and Meilleur Soin de France 2026.
  • Brand rhythm: two trade shows a year, Paris in spring and Marseille in November. This page covers only the Marseille edition.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

The offer is organised by themed areas: Village des Ongles (Nail Village: nail products and equipment), Univers du Regard (Eye Universe: lash extensions, lash lifts, eyebrows), Village des Marques (Brands Village: expert treatments and cosmetics, beauty technologies, hair removal, training and business coaching), Pôle Dermo (Dermo Hub: dermopigmentation) and a Shopping area (teeth whitening, hair, jewellery, tanning, tattoo and piercing).

On the visitor side, the target is the practising practitioner: nail technicians, eye-beauty technicians, in-salon beauticians, dermopigmentists, spa practitioners, trainers and centre managers. The trade show therefore sits downstream in the cosmetics chain, on the side of the hands-on treatment and in-cabin service, whereas Paris trade shows such as Cosmetagora or MakeUp in Paris deal with formulation and industrial subcontracting.

Notable exhibitors

The official list is published and updated on the organiser's exhibitors page, with a listing for each brand and the option to contact it before or after the trade show. Among the brands already featured on the page dedicated to the Marseille edition: Mesoestetic, Heliabrine Monaco, Eberlin Biocosmetics, Skinexians, Corpoderm, Fraise Nail Shop, OA Nail System, Mnails, Ongles Pro, Princess Paris, Shemax, Ulka, Yumi Beauty and Profession Bien-Être. The list continues to grow until the trade show opens.

Quality of the audience

Access is reserved for professionals: Parc Chanot lists the event under the "Pro" category in its calendar, and the Marseille tourist office presents it as reserved for industry professionals. The organiser does not publish an attendance review by edition. The counters shown on its website (33,000 professional visitors, 260 brands and trainers) relate to the brand as a whole, two editions a year in Paris and Marseille combined since the 2018 takeover: they cannot be attributed to the Marseille edition alone.

Events & community

Conference programme

Alongside the stands, the format combines a programme of practical workshops, master classes, workshops, non-stop demonstrations and trade conferences led by trainers and experts. The detailed Marseille programme is published by the organiser as the event approaches.

Awards and accolades

Three competitions take place over the two days, each with its own rules and dedicated registration.

Nailympion France 2026: run since 2016 across Europe, Asia and America, the competition is open to all nail stylists with no pre-selection, individually or in teams, across four levels (First Timer, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3). The Marseille edition announces 16 events, 500 places open, 8 trophies at stake and 300 boxes presented. Eight live events on models are spread across the two days, including Babyboomer, One Tone, Salon Style French, French Gel Sculptured, Stiletto Nail Art, Ultimate Nail Art Challenge and Nail Art Fantasy Total Look. The team trophies are the Team Trophy and the Team Trophy box; the individual trophies include the Nail Art Champion 2026 and the Grand Champion de France 2026. Prize-giving on Sunday 15 November at 6.30pm on the main stage of the Palais des Congrès.

Lash & Brow Masters: for this 5th edition, five events are on the programme over two days (Lash lift, Brow Design, lash-by-lash extensions, Russian volume extensions "Glamour Design", "Easy Fan" volume extensions), for 150 places and 3 trophies. Judging of the models is anonymous after each event. Three distinctions are awarded: the Trophée Designer du regard (Eye Designer Trophy), the Trophée Best Lash Artist and the title of Lash & Brow Master 2026. Prize-giving on Sunday 15 November at 5.30pm at the Palais des Congrès.

Meilleur Soin de France 2026: the competition showcases innovative face and body treatment protocols, on the 2026 theme of innovative hands-on treatments. 2026 direction: Marine Jonda and Justin Poncet. The format provides for 64 places, two categories (face on Saturday, body on Sunday), sessions of 8 candidates, a final and a prize-giving each day at 4.30pm, and 6 medallists in total. The events take place live on models in the competition arena, at the heart of the Village des Marques. Entry fee: €65, online registration only, before 8 November 2026.

Community & networks

Beauty Profs is backed by a professional community active all year round, with more than 26,000 followers on its Instagram account @mybeautyprofs.

The trade show is linked to a digital magazine co-published with Profession Bien-Être, a partner of the event, which the organiser presents as the first multimedia and interactive magazine in the beauty-industry market. The first issue is announced to reach more than 20,000 readers.

On site: what you need to know

For access, parking and accommodation, see the venue page: Parc Chanot (Rond-Point du Prado, 13008 Marseille).

Specific to the trade show: the 2026 edition is held on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November, with opening from 9.00am. The ticket is free but prior online registration is required, for either one day or both. The competition prize-givings take place at the Palais des Congrès, located next to the exhibition hall. The shows and parades announced on the dedicated page of the official website (Nail Fashion Week, barber shows, Village Men's Beauty) relate to the Paris edition in March at the Docks de Paris, not the Marseille edition.

How much it costs to exhibit

No exhibitor pricing schedule is published by the organiser. The amounts below are indicative orders of magnitude for a regional professional trade show of this format and do not constitute the official Beauty Profs rates. Request the exhibitor pack from Althea for the actual prices.

Preparing your visit

For the exhibitor

  • Use the contact form on the official website, selecting the "Exposant" (Exhibitor) category, to obtain the exhibitor pack and the areas map.
  • Choose your area in advance: placement in the Village des Ongles, the Univers du Regard, the Village des Marques or the Pôle Dermo strongly determines the profile of visitors met.
  • Fill in your exhibitor listing online: it is published before the trade show and serves as a point of contact both before and after the event, with a stand-scanning system for visitors who have an account.
  • Plan for a live demonstration set-up: the trade show works on the gesture seen live, not on the brochure.

For the decision-making visitor

  • Book your pass online before coming: entry is free but registration is required to collect your badge.
  • Create an account on the website to scan exhibitors on site and retrieve their contact details after the trade show.
  • Choose between Saturday and Sunday depending on the competitions: Saturday concentrates the face category of the Meilleur Soin de France, Sunday the body category and the late-afternoon prize-givings.
  • Two days are more than enough to cover all the areas: the format remains compact within a single hall.

Policy & CSR initiatives

The organiser does not publish a "Commitments" or "CSR" page for Beauty Profs, and the event does not hold its own certification. The verifiable approach lies at the venue level: Marseille events, the operator of Marseille Chanot, is certified ISO 20121 for the management of spaces and the hosting of all types of events, with a certificate available online. Parc Chanot belongs to the GL events Venues network, whose responsibility policy covers waste management, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, biodiversity protection and responsible purchasing. The venue is also a member of Unimev and UFI.

At the level of the event itself, no documented environmental commitment is published to date. The only identifiable openness measures relate to economic accessibility: free entry for professionals and free team registration for the Nailympion competition.

Trajectory analysis

The trade show's history rests on three turning points. Taken over in 2018 by Carole and Nicolas Florent, when it was still a regionally-focused event, the event left Palavas-les-Flots for Parc Chanot in 2019: a deliberate change of scale, drawing on the density of beauty institutes and salons in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. A third turning point came in March 2024 with the opening of a Paris edition at the Docks de Paris, moving Beauty Profs from a Mediterranean gathering to a national brand with two annual dates.

The Marseille edition retains its position as a bridgehead in the South, with a focus tightened on the technical beauty trades rather than the whole cosmetics sector. The calendar's shift, from October in 2024 to mid-November in 2025 and then 2026, has settled the event on the second weekend of November. The growing strength of the competitions, up from two to three with the arrival of the Meilleur Soin de France, points to the strategy: making the trade show a place for live competition and demonstration as much as a place to buy.
