Key facts
- The congress of the Collège Français de Pathologie Vasculaire (CFPV) is the annual meeting of vascular pathology in France: a scientific continuing medical education congress, backed by an exhibition of healthcare industry suppliers on the ground floor of the Maison de la Chimie.
- Next edition: the 61st congress, from Wednesday 17 to Friday 19 March 2027 at the Maison de la Chimie, 28 bis rue Saint-Dominique, Paris 7e. It is chaired by Professor Isabelle Mahé (Colombes).
- Organiser: the Collège Français de Pathologie Vasculaire, a learned society with the legal status of a French loi 1901 association since 1966. Exhibition sales and registrations are handled by Europa Organisation (Europa Group, Toulouse).
- Annual frequency, every year in March in Paris. The 2026 edition, the 60th, took place from 11 to 13 March 2026.
- For an exhibitor, the format is that of a congress: no free-entry visitors, access to the exhibition is included in the registration of congress delegates, who are healthcare professionals. The 2027 partnership pack publishes a complete price list, from stand space per m² to the symposium.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The 2027 partnership pack is aimed at healthcare industry companies and offers several forms of presence: exhibition stand, symposium, lunchtime demonstration session, branded badge lanyards, inserts in delegate bags, sponsorship of the congress app or of the internet area, banners and e-mailings. Some offers, such as inserts or lanyards, are explicitly described for "une firme pharmaceutique" (a pharmaceutical company).
The congress brings together neighbouring specialities, which widens the audience of a single stand: according to the pack, 17 other learned societies take part, and the cross-disciplinary scope covers vascular medicine, internal medicine, vascular surgery, radiology, dermatology, cardiology, haemostasis, phlebology, microcirculation and lymphology.
Notable exhibitors
The list of 2027 exhibitors is not published. The 2027 congress page does, however, thank "les partenaires de l'édition 2026 du congrès" (the partners of the 2026 edition of the congress) and displays their logos: Bauerfeind, Canon Medical, Cutera, Elsevier, Esaote, Eureduc, Fujifilm, GE HealthCare, Herapreg, Kreussler Pharma, LEO, Lilly, LSO Medical, medi, MEPY Système, Mindray, OneVasc, Philips, Predictis, Samsung, Servier, Siemens Healthineers, Sigvaris Group, Sonovein, Urgo Medical and Weda.
This list applies to March 2026 and does not indicate whether these companies will be present in 2027. It gives a picture of the congress: medical imaging manufacturers, pharmaceutical laboratories, medical device makers, publishers and digital health services.
Visitor quality
Registration is compulsory. The 2027 price list, presented under the heading "Professionnel de Santé" (healthcare professional), distinguishes doctors, members of the CFPV and the SFL, heads of clinic and assistants, interns and students, and nurses; a separate line covers the additional badges for industry representatives who exhibit. Registration includes access to the scientific sessions and the exhibition, coffee breaks and a special issue of Vascular Diseases, the CFPV's journal, formerly the Journal de Médecine Vasculaire.
The CFPV does not publish any attendance figure in open access. The partnership pack gives two indirect indicators: the partner e-mailing is sent to everyone registered for the congress, i.e. "plus de 3800 e-mails" (more than 3,800 e-mails), and the pens or notepads inserted in the delegate bags are requested in 1,150 copies. These are not participation figures.
Events & community
Scientific programme
The 2027 programme is not published. In her message, the president of the CFPV, Claire Le Hello, states that the edition is under construction and mentions themes that are expected: news in vascular surgery and vascular medicine, the use of antidiabetic drugs, lipid-lowering drugs and obesity medication, notably in patients with atherosclerosis, vasculitis, rare vascular diseases and the use of AI in cardiovascular prevention.
The call for papers is open until 19 November 2026 at 11.59pm for oral presentations and posters, and until 10 December 2026 at 11.59pm for invited talks in an invited session. The 2027 page also provides sections headed "Ateliers SFMV" and "Formation JMV", with no content published to date.
For reference, the editorial on the 60th congress describes a 2026 edition with a congress president's session, led by Prof. Joseph Emmerich, devoted to the history of venous thromboembolic disease, plus lunchtime sessions and demonstration sessions. The 2026 replays are reserved for CFPV members whose subscription is up to date.
Prizes and awards
The CFPV awards several prizes linked to its congress. The "Humanisme et Médecine" prize, worth €5,000 and created in 2001, is presented during a formal session in the main auditorium of the Maison de la Chimie; the editorial on the 60th congress states that it was awarded in 2026 to Dr Marine Bombardier. The René Rettori Prize, worth €500, rewards the two best posters displayed during the congress. The site also presents a best article prize, worth €1,000, created in 2014, and a best communication prize.
Community & networks
The congress presidency changes every year: Isabelle Mahé for 2027, with Jean-Philippe Galanaud (Toronto) as vice-president of the congress according to the partnership pack. The CFPV board is chaired by Claire Le Hello (Saint-Étienne).
The CFPV publishes the journal Vascular Diseases and has offered an annual training course as part of its congress since 2023. The association is Qualiopi-certified for training activities, with an ICPF certificate valid until 14 April 2027.

Preparing your visit
For exhibitors
- Book early: under the allocation rule, priority in choosing a stand goes to partners who take a communication session, after which it is first come, first served. A quote is valid for 20 days, with an option held during that period.
- Plan for the anti-gift law: if an authorisation must be requested on the ARS (regional health agency) website, Europa Organisation sends the partnership agreement and dated proof of the filing must be returned within 15 days.
- For a symposium, send the title, the draft programme and the names of moderators and speakers by 12 January 2027 at the latest. A symposium cannot be bought without a stand.
- Note the January 2027 deadlines: MySCAN licence before 15 January, app sponsorship before 14 January, exhibitor technical guide sent in mid-January.
- Catering on the stand is ordered exclusively from the caterers approved by the Maison de la Chimie.
For decision-maker visitors
- Register before 16 February 2027 to benefit from the first price tier; CFPV member rates require a 2027 membership, available from 1 January 2027.
- Look out for the lunchtime demonstration sessions, announced in the final programme: this is where manufacturers show their equipment in real conditions.
- For interns and junior practitioners, the call for papers makes it possible to present a poster or an oral communication, and so to compete for the René Rettori Prize (best posters) or the best article prize (oral communications).
CSR policy & initiatives
The congress website has no section dedicated to sustainability and the CFPV does not publish a CSR policy specific to the event; no ISO 20121 certification for the event is displayed.
On the operator's side, Europa Group states that since the start of 2025 it has embarked on a process to become a Société à Mission, under the project name Groupe à Mission. This is a process under way, not a status already achieved.
The venue publishes more. The Maison de la Chimie describes a CSR approach based on district heating, insulation of the steam network, LED lighting and presence sensors, an investment plan compliant with the French tertiary buildings decree, selective waste sorting, recovery of unsold food and waste management that it links to the ISO 20121 standard. The revenue from its events activity funds the actions of the Fondation de la Maison de la Chimie, which is recognised as a public-interest foundation. The venue also details its accessibility: lifting platforms at the entrances at no. 28 and no. 28 bis, lifts and reserved spaces in the auditoriums.

Trajectory analysis
The congress is part of a long series: the official list of presidents goes back to the 41st congress, in March 2007, and the 60th, in 2026, coincided with the CFPV's 60th anniversary. The rhythm is annual and set around the month of March, with a single recent exception: no congress appears for 2020 in the official list, and the 54th and 55th congresses were combined and held from 11 to 13 October 2021. The pages of past editions are reserved for members, and the PDF programmes published in open access for 2021 to 2026 do not give any attendance figure either.
For an industry company, the trajectory is read mainly in the commercial offer. Between the 2026 partnership pack (published in July 2025) and the 2027 one, the price per m² rises from €650 to €680 excl. VAT in rooms 7, 32, 33, 34, 69 and the Grande Galerie, and from €850 to €880 excl. VAT in room 8; stands no. 21, 23, 28, 33 and 40 in room 8 go from €16,500 to €17,440 excl. VAT and the administrative management fee from €300 to €330. The day badge at €80 excl. VAT, the internet area and the 2 kW socket included in the stand price already appear in the 2026 pack: the 2027 one still presents them as new or dated "this year", but they are not specific to 2027. The congress has stayed loyal to the same heritage venue: the official programmes from 2021 to 2026 all place it at the Maison de la Chimie.
The dates of the 2028 edition had not been announced at the time of writing.
