Key takeaways
- The Congrès National des Pharmaciens (CNDP) is the yearly gathering of the community pharmacy profession, organised by the Fédération des Syndicats Pharmaceutiques de France (FSPF). It combines two days of lectures, workshops and training sessions with an exhibitor village where laboratories, wholesaler-distributors, software publishers, shopfitters and insurers meet pharmacists.
- Congress format over two days, a Saturday and a Sunday: in 2026, Saturday was devoted to plenary lectures and debates, Sunday to practical workshops and training sessions. The exhibition stays open on both days.
- Next edition: from Saturday 9 to Sunday 10 October 2027, in Lyon. The organiser has not yet specified the exact venue for the 2027 edition.
- Organiser: the FSPF. The event is run by VOX Pharma, the company that publishes the congress website and whose sales director, Christophe Bentz, is the congress's general commissioner.
- Yearly frequency, with a host city that changes from one edition to the next: Nantes in 2026, Lyon in 2025, Deauville in 2024, Montpellier in 2023.
- Results of the latest edition, held in Nantes on 26 and 27 September 2026: over 1,000 visitors across the two days and over 150 exhibitors present.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The exhibitor village brings together suppliers to the pharmacy in the broad sense. The list published for 2026 gives an idea of the families: pharmaceutical laboratories (GSK, Sanofi, MSD, Lilly, Novo Nordisk, Viatris, Sandoz, Pierre Fabre, Biocon, Celltrion, Arrow Lab), buying groups and wholesale distribution (Astera and the CERP network, Phoenix and OCP), software and digital services for pharmacies (Pharmagest, Winpharma, Smart Rx, Medadom), robotics and shopfitting (BD Rowa, Boursin Agencement, Cap Agencement, Cubik Agenceur, IFM Enseignes), insurance and provident cover (Apgis, Klesia, La Médicale Generali, Colbert Assurances, Swisslife), trade press (Le Moniteur des pharmacies, Le Quotidien du Pharmacien, 1Health Media).
Exhibitors were offered two participation formulas in 2026: the bare space, a floor marking with no carpet or partitions, which the organisation fits with a 3 kW electrical box; and the equipped stand, with an aluminium structure, partitions, a sign bearing the company name, a rail of LED spotlights and a 3 kW electrical box. The terms for the 2027 edition have not yet been published.
Notable exhibitors
The official partners listed for the 2026 edition are Astera and CERP Astera, GSK, IQVIA, MADP, Phoenix OCP, Pierre Fabre, Résopharma, Sandoz and Viatris, with Le Pharmacien de France as press partner. The full list of 2026 exhibitors and partners, with their stand numbers, remains online. No list has yet been published for 2027: nothing allows us to say that these companies will return to Lyon.
Visitor quality
The audience is that of the community pharmacy: pharmacists and pharmacy employees, as well as pharmacy students, whose association ANEPF was among the 2026 exhibitors. In 2026, registration was free for pharmacists and pharmacy employees resident in France, with a stated commercial value of €80 incl. VAT per person, and up to three accompanying guests. Separate registrations exist for service providers and for foreign participants.
For an exhibitor, the distinctive feature is that the event is run by a professional union, the FSPF: visiting the exhibition is built into the programme, with dedicated breaks between the Saturday 2026 sessions. The testimonials published by the website stress meeting laboratories and wholesalers.
Attendance figures are communicated by the organiser, without OJS certification or third-party audit.
Programme & community
Conference programme
The 2027 programme had not been published at the time of writing. The 2026 programme shows the institutional level: an inauguration announced with the Minister of Health, Stéphanie Rist, a debate on the economic future of pharmacy with Thomas Fatôme, managing director of the CNAM, a debate with Bruno Le Maire on health financing and the social security financing act (LFSS), and a joint discussion between the presidents of the UNAPL and the UNPS on the place of pharmacists in the interprofessional landscape.
Sunday 2026 was reserved for practical workshops and training sessions, in parallel rooms: melanoma screening in pharmacies, results of the OSyS experiment, the DES reform, VPH, and training sessions offered by partners such as Adylis. A sequence titled "Les pharmaciens ont du talent" presented initiatives by fellow pharmacists in two episodes.
Community & networks
The congress is the FSPF's own event, and the FSPF itself held two stands there in 2026 (FSPF and FSPF 44). Other profession organisations were among the 2026 exhibitors, such as the ANEPF, the association of pharmacy students, or the FIF-PL.
On the press side, Le Pharmacien de France is the congress's press partner and devoted a supplement to the 2025 edition, available online on the official website.
The CNDP should not be confused with Pharmagora Plus, another community pharmacy gathering, separate from the congress.
On site: what you need to know
The 2027 edition will take place in Lyon. The official website does not yet specify the Lyon venue: its FAQ, which is undated, mentions the Centre de Congrès de Lyon, but nothing confirms that choice for 2027. The website's access, transport and accommodation pages still describe the 2026 edition, held at the Cité des Congrès de Nantes.
The 2027 opening hours have not been published. As a guide, the 2026 exhibition opened from 9:00 to 18:00 on Saturday and from 9:00 to 16:00 on Sunday. The website's FAQ, which is undated, states that a free cloakroom is available at the entrance. Journalists must request accreditation online before the congress, from the press area of the website.

Preparing your visit
For exhibitors
- Get in touch early with the partnerships team via the Become an exhibitor page: in 2026, the technical documents had to be returned before Friday 10 July for a congress at the end of September.
- Choose between an equipped stand and a bare space depending on the lead time: a bare space requires a stand contractor and plans submitted for approval.
- Aim for a workshop or training session on Sunday, the day geared towards practice, rather than a simple presence on the stand.
- Tailor the pitch to the economics of the pharmacy, the thread of the 2026 plenary programme: pharmacy economics, health financing, the place of pharmacists in the interprofessional landscape.
For decision-making visitors
- Watch the official website for the opening of 2027 registrations, as registration gives access to the badge.
- Keep Saturday for institutional debates and Sunday for workshops, if the 2026 format is repeated.
- Use the breaks listed in the programme to visit the exhibition, which brings suppliers, groups and publishers together on a single floor.
CSR policy & initiatives
The congress website has no section on commitments or sustainability, and neither the FSPF nor VOX Pharma publishes a CSR policy specific to the event or an ISO 20121 certification.
The documented commitments are those of the host venues. For the 2026 edition, the exhibitor guide noted that the Cité des Congrès de Nantes maintains its ISO 20121 certification every year and encouraged carpet-free stands to reduce waste and carbon footprint. For 2027, no venue initiative can be attached to the event until the venue is confirmed.

Trajectory analysis
With a 78th edition held in 2026, the CNDP is part of a long series. The list of editions published by the website includes no 2020 edition, and the numbering resumes in 2021 in Lyon.
The most significant recent change is the format. In 2025, the organisation trialled a tighter formula: plenary lectures and round tables grouped on Saturday, practical workshops and partner workshops on Sunday, with longer slots for visiting the exhibitor village. The FSPF repeated this formula in 2026, presenting it as a success.
On the exhibition side, the village had 140 partners in 2025 according to Le Pharmacien de France and over 150 exhibitors in 2026 according to the organiser's results: two counts of a different nature, not to be compared strictly. For a pharmacy supplier, it is the yearly event that brings together, on a single floor, pharmacists around a union and economic programme.
The dates of the 2028 edition had not been announced at the time of writing.
