Key takeaways
- Data Centre World Paris is the French trade event dedicated to data centres and critical digital infrastructure: energy, cooling, capacity, physical security, edge computing and operations.
- It is not a standalone trade show but one of the five brands brought together under the Tech Show Paris umbrella, alongside Cloud & AI Infrastructure Paris, DevOps Live Paris, Cloud & Cyber Security Expo Paris and Data & AI Leaders Summit. A single badge gives access to all five areas, in the same hall and on the same dates.
- Organiser: CloserStill Media, a British B2B trade show group (parent entity CloserStill Media Limited, registered in the United Kingdom under number 05816917, headquartered in London). No co-organiser.
- Frequency: annual.
- Next edition: Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 November 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, hall 5. Opening hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm on Wednesday, 9.00am to 5.00pm on Thursday.
- The organiser presents the 2026 edition as marking "10 years of Tech Show Paris". This milestone refers to the umbrella, not to a Data Centre World Paris-specific edition number.
- Official website: techshowparis.fr/data-centre-world (the domain datacentreworld.fr redirects to the same content).
- Free entry for end users of technology solutions. A paid pass is required for any visit with a commercial purpose.
- Not to be confused with Big Data & AI Paris, another Paris event dedicated to data and AI listed on Agoris, nor with the Data & AI Leaders Summit, which is itself one of the Tech Show Paris brands.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The exhibited offer covers the physical chain of the data centre rather than software: power supply and distribution, generators and UPS systems, cooling production and liquid cooling, connectivity and cabling, perimeter security and detection, monitoring and DCIM, design and modular construction, colocation and hosting.
On the visitor side, the organiser targets Data Centre Managers, infrastructure managers, CTOs, CIOs, Facility Managers, cloud architects and critical infrastructure experts. The job titles found in its visitor sample confirm this highly operational profile: Head of Digital Infrastructure, Datacenter Infrastructure Manager, Senior Data Center Manager, Design & Operation Director, Data Center Energy Efficiency Lead, Hosting Activities Manager.
Notable exhibitors
The full list is published on the exhibitors page of the official website, filterable by trade show.
For the 2026 edition, Data Centre World Paris's "Must-See Products" campaign highlights solutions and stand locations already assigned: ABB and its HiPerGuard medium-voltage UPS (stand L60), Carrier and its AquaEdge 19MV4 magnetic-bearing centrifugal chiller (stand K70), La Barrière Automatique and its LBAi W-Gate perimeter security barrier (stand K18), Power Europe and its resin transformers (stand H21).
Also among the announced sponsors of the 2026 edition: Baudouin, Schneider Electric, Vertiv, APL Data Center, Rehlko Power Systems, Panduit, Stulz, 2G Areni Industrie, Netelyx, Group LBA, TTK, Roxtec and Jacir.
Quality of the audience
Note when reading the published figures: they cover the whole of Tech Show Paris, not Data Centre World Paris on its own. The organiser's post-event report, published on 20 November 2025, announced for 5 and 6 November 2025 more than 7,900 professionals, more than 310 exhibitors, 50 partners, 340 speakers, 150 conferences and more than 1,660 meetings scheduled via the Connect at Tech Show Paris platform, across all brands combined. No attendance figures specific to Data Centre World Paris are published to date.
On the structure of this audience, the organiser states in its exhibitor pitch that 77% of attendees are senior decision-makers, that 27% plan to build a new data centre within the next 12 to 24 months, 22% to expand an existing data centre and 23% to replace equipment. These percentages are self-reported figures from the organiser, not audited.
The market context explains this density of projects. According to Datacenter Magazine (DCmag), France had 352 data centres in operation at the start of January 2026, up from 250 in 2022, and in 2025 took first place worldwide for announced foreign investment in data centre construction, with US$69 billion, ahead of the United States at US$29 billion. Silicon.fr reported in June 2026 on the Ardian and Verne project, €5 billion for a 500 MW infrastructure in the Île-de-France region, of which more than 200 MW is due to be delivered by 2030.
Events & community
Conference programme
The 2026 programme is built around a guiding theme set by the organiser: "Balancing power, cost and responsibility in a world under constraint". Five strands break it down: energy access as a siting factor, new AI infrastructure (high density, liquid cooling, scaling), building a data centre (standardisation, modularity, financing), acceptability and sovereignty (water consumption, land use, public perception), and operating under constraint (uptime, predictive maintenance, monitoring).
The detailed programme and the speaker application form are published on the programme page of the official website. Conferences are open access during the show, with no need to pre-register, and are available as replays after the event.
To give a sense of the level of the sessions: at the 2025 edition, the 5 November data centre keynote, "The place of data centres, between hyperscale and AI, policy and sovereignty", was delivered by Régis Castagné, Managing Director France of Equinix. The post-event report also cites the session "The new equation of AI", which brought together NVIDIA, Lenovo, Vertiv, EAE France and Theia Energy.
Highlights
Data Centre World Paris hosts the networking drinks, a Women & Diversity in Tech panel and the Trophées de la Cybersécurité (Cybersecurity Awards), presented on the Mainstage in partnership with the Fédération Française de la Cybersécurité. For 2026, the organiser has announced a new category dedicated to the security of data centre infrastructure and hosted services.
A VIP programme reserved for executives, CIOs, CTOs, CISOs and CDOs meeting eligibility criteria gives access to a decision-makers' area, reserved seats at conferences and a cocktail reception. The upgrade is decided by the organiser's team after registration, with no action required from the visitor.
Community & networks
The trade show's institutional and association ecosystem is dense: France Datacenter, the reference association for the French sector, which brings together around a hundred companies that design, build and operate data centres; the Gimelec, which gathers 200 companies from the electrical and digital technologies sector; the Africa Data Centres Association; the Smart Buildings Alliance; the Association Française du Froid; Choose Paris Region.
On the media side, the trade show is backed by DCmag (Datacenter Magazine), Solutions Numériques & Cybersécurité, Journal du Net, IT for Business, Alliancy, Archimag, Siècle Digital, J3E, La Lettre M² and Valeur Énergie.
On the Paris tech calendar, VivaTech occupies the innovation and start-up space in June. Data Centre World Paris sits in November on a completely different segment: the physical infrastructure that powers these uses.
On site: what you need to know
For access, parking and accommodation, see the venue page: Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, 1 place de la Porte de Versailles, 75015 Paris.
Specific to the trade show: the 2026 edition is held in hall 5, entirely on one level, with reserved parking, accessible lifts and toilets adapted for people with reduced mobility. Note for anyone relying on last year's bearings: the 2025 edition was held in hall 7.1.
Access is strictly reserved for adults, including when accompanied. A cloakroom is open at the entrance from 8.30am until 30 minutes after closing, at €2 per item and free for VIP visitors. A catering point is set up inside hall 5, supplemented by several outlets immediately outside. A printed pocket guide is distributed free of charge at the entrance.
The badge is sent by email after online registration and can be printed at home or on site. It gives access to both days and all five co-located trade shows. For accommodation, the organiser works with partner Revolugo, which offers a booking portal at negotiated rates. Visitors needing an invitation letter for a visa application must request it from their visitor account after registering, not by email.
How much it costs to exhibit
CloserStill Media does not publish an exhibitor pricing schedule for Data Centre World Paris. Stand and sponsorship terms are provided on request via the form on the exhibit at the show page. The organiser offers two distinct levels of engagement, standard exhibiting and sponsorship, the latter opening up a premium position and visibility before, during and after the event.
Visitor rates, on the other hand, are public and detailed in the visitor FAQ. Registration is free for end users of technology solutions. Any attendance with a commercial purpose, meaning the promotion of products or services without a stand, requires a paid pass: €289 excl. VAT at the Early Bird rate until 9 September 2026, €359 excl. VAT at the standard rate thereafter, €399 excl. VAT on site. The Premium Pass is €589 excl. VAT and adds access to the Connect platform, the VIP Networking Drinks, priority seats on the Main Stage and a post-event report on sector trends. A student pass at €39 excl. VAT is offered for the first 500 registrants, with access from 2.00pm on the second day.
Preparing your visit
For the exhibitor
- Decide early between a standard stand and sponsorship: both formats go through the same contact form, but the most visible locations and speaking slots are taken up well in advance.
- Apply to speak via the dedicated form: with around 340 speakers across the whole of Tech Show Paris, the stage is a visibility lever at least as significant as the stand.
- Make use of the Connect at Tech Show Paris platform as soon as it opens to identify registered visitors and set up meetings: more than 1,660 meetings were scheduled there in 2025 across the whole umbrella.
- Bear in mind that the audience is co-located: a single badge lets visitors circulate between five trade shows. Traffic on the stand therefore depends even more on upfront preparation and positioning within the hall.
- Consider the "Must-See Products" campaign to promote an innovation ahead of the event, with the stand number displayed on the website.
For the decision-making visitor
- Check your status before buying a pass: entry is free for end users. The commercial pass only applies to those coming to sell without exhibiting.
- Register early: the VIP upgrade is decided by the organiser based on your profile, with no extra steps needed, and gives access to networking areas and cocktail receptions.
- Build your conference schedule in advance from your Connect profile: sessions are open access but the theatres fill up, and replays are no substitute for in-person exchanges.
- Use the single badge: data centre issues overlap with those covered at Cloud & AI Infrastructure Paris (GPUs, AI platforms) and Cloud & Cyber Security Expo Paris (compliance, sovereignty).
- Plan for Wednesday if the keynote programme matters to you: opening hours are longer on the first day, until 5.30pm compared with 5.00pm on Thursday.
Policy & CSR initiatives
Tech Show Paris publishes a "Nos engagements" (Our commitments) page covering all of its brands, including Data Centre World Paris. It is structured around four strands.
The first covers reducing the environmental footprint of the trade shows: eco-design of stands, optimisation of resources and materials, waste reduction, and support for carbon emission reduction initiatives. The organiser names two partners on this strand, Viparis, the venue operator, and AlterExpo.
The second concerns the fight against food waste, with initiatives to redistribute surplus food to charities supporting people in precarious situations.
The third covers diversity and inclusion in tech, through the Women & Diversity in Tech programme, attention paid to the diversity of speakers, and partnerships with CefCys, Women4Cyber and Women in Tech Global. The 2025 post-event report states that this programme was in its third edition.
The fourth relates to content rather than organisation: conferences and panel discussions dedicated to Green IT, responsible infrastructure and sustainable AI. On Data Centre World Paris, this strand directly connects with the 2026 guiding theme on balancing power, cost and responsibility.
No dated, quantified target is published, and no ISO 20121 certification specific to the event or to CloserStill Media is mentioned. The verifiable foundation comes from the venue: Viparis, operator of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, is ISO 20121 certified across its Parisian sites and carries the Better Events 2030 strategy.

The visitors and exhibitors columns cover the whole of Tech Show Paris, across all five trade shows combined. The organiser does not publish attendance figures specific to Data Centre World Paris.
Trajectory analysis
The underlying shift is not in the attendance figures, it is in the repositioning of the umbrella. CloserStill Media announced in late 2024 the transformation of its global Cloud Expo brand, run for fifteen years, into Cloud & AI Infrastructure, whose first French edition took place at Tech Show Paris on 5 and 6 November 2025. The group justified this shift by AI demand exceeding the capacity of traditional cloud infrastructure, and reported a 75% rise in attendance at this event series over the previous two years.
This refocus on infrastructure mechanically benefits Data Centre World Paris, which has always dealt with the physical layer that AI is now turning into a bottleneck. The 2026 guiding theme, balancing power, cost and responsibility, matches what the trade press is documenting: Le Monde Informatique reported in July 2026, based on a Gartner study, global data centre electricity consumption rising from 447 TWh in 2025 to 565 TWh in 2026, of which 175 TWh for AI servers alone, up 84.2% year-on-year.
Two points to watch when planning a visit. The hall changes from one year to the next: 7.1 in 2025, 5 in 2026. And the slot moves, from late November in 2024 to early November in 2025 and then mid-November in 2026: check the dates rather than relying on the previous edition as a reference point.
Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (techshowparis.fr).
