Agoris analysis · updated November 2026

Key takeaways

  • Luxe Pack - Édition Spéciale is the Paris trade show for eco-designed luxury packaging: it brings premium packaging makers and circular-economy providers together with perfume and cosmetics, wine and spirits, fine food, fashion and leather goods brands. The organiser presents it as the only trade show in France dedicated to eco-designed packaging and circular-economy providers.
  • Next edition: Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 May 2027, 10am to 6pm on both days, at the Carreau du Temple, in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris.
  • 2027 brings a double change: the show, launched in 2019 as Édition Spéciale by LUXE PACK, becomes LUXE PACK - Édition Spéciale, with a new identity and the tagline "Concevoir l'excellence qui dure". It also returns to the Carreau du Temple, its historic venue, after two editions at the Carrousel du Louvre in 2025 and 2026.
  • It is a separate show from Luxe Pack Monaco, the brand's worldwide event at the Grimaldi Forum, announced for 4 to 6 October 2027 under the new name LUXE PACK WORLD. The Paris edition is presented as tighter and entirely focused on sustainable packaging.
  • Organiser: Infopro Digital Trade Shows, a company of the Infopro Digital group. The Luxe Pack brand also runs in Monaco, Los Angeles, New York and Shanghai. Fabienne Germond is the show director.
  • Annual frequency, since 2019. There was no 2020 edition: the one planned for May was postponed once to November, and finally took place at the end of August 2021.
  • Exhibiting requires submitting an application relating to the show's theme, sustainable packaging or a circular-economy solution: it is a selective show.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

The offer covers the whole premium packaging chain: bottles, jars and closures in glass, metal, wood or plastic; boxes, cases and sleeves in paper, board, wood, leather or fabric; specialty papers and raw materials; finishing and decoration, hot-foil stamping, printing, lamination; labels, ribbons, bags and pouches; point-of-sale displays, wedging, samples and refill solutions.

Alongside the manufacturers, a section has been reserved since 2025 for circular-economy providers: eco-design agencies, consulting and training firms, supply-chain traceability experts, certification bodies and labels, refill and washing solutions. In 2026, two areas hosted young companies: a packaging startups zone and the "Matières à sens et sensations" space, devoted to natural, bio-based, augmented or recycled materials. The organiser had not announced whether they would return in 2027 at the time of writing.

The show is international: the organiser announced more than 57% of foreign exhibitors for 2026, coming notably from Italy, Germany, Spain, Belgium, China, the United States and Sweden.

Notable exhibitors

The exhibitor list available at the time of writing is that of the 2026 edition: it has 84 companies, 30 of them flagged as new exhibitors. It includes paper makers (Antalis, Arctic Paper, Canson, Favini, Fedrigoni, GF Smith Colorplan, James Cropper, Papeteries de Vizille, Papeteries du Léman), specialists in cases and box-making (Gainerie 91 / Créanog, Gainerie Moderne, Knoll Prestige Packaging), beauty component manufacturers (Baralan, Berlin Packaging Beauty, Cosmotec, Vimer), Kurz for decoration, as well as the packers Keller Packaging, Sonoco, Swisspack, Van Genechten Packaging and Wildcat Packaging. The 2027 exhibitors had not been published at the time of writing.

Visitor quality

The target audience is brand decision-makers: creative and marketing directors on one side, CSR, purchasing and compliance directors on the other. The organiser sums up this positioning as follows: "réunir, autour d'un même objet, ceux qui le rêvent et ceux qui le rendent conforme" (bringing together, around the same object, those who dream it up and those who make it compliant). The sectors represented range from wines and spirits to perfumery and cosmetics, by way of fine food, jewellery and watchmaking, hospitality, lifestyle, leather goods, fashion and pharmaceuticals.

The latest published attendance report dates from 2021: 2,026 visitors and 65 exhibitors from 11 countries. For the following editions, the organiser has only published pre-show targets, in the order of 2,000 to 2,500 visitors. No OJS certification is published.

Events & community

Conference programme

Content is at the heart of the format. The 2027 programme had not been published at the time of writing; the organiser announces conferences, round tables, case studies and workshops, for brands at every level of eco-design maturity, with two guiding themes: the entry into force of the European PPWR packaging regulation and traceability, from the digital product passport to NFC and QR solutions.

In 2026, more than 50 speakers took part. The 2026 speakers page names in particular representatives of LVMH Beauty, Guerlain, Saint Laurent, Sisley, The Estée Lauder Companies, Pierre Fabre, Pernod Ricard, Nocibé, Citeo, FEBEA, the Institut national de l'économie circulaire and The Carbon Trust. One format comes back from one edition to the next: success stories, where an exhibitor and its client brand present a real case together.

Green Award

Presented since the first edition in partnership with Infinity Global, the Green Award recognises the visitors' favourite solution, chosen by vote at the show. In 2026 it went to Papeteries du Léman for Dentelle de Soie, a micro-perforated tissue paper, following the vote of 17 June. The previous winners published are Carbios in 2024, Raiku in 2023, Procop in 2021 and Eska in 2019.

Community & networking

The show relies on a steering committee of packaging experts to build its programme. Its listed partners include the Institut national de l'économie circulaire and Bpifrance.

Media partners: Formes de Luxe, Luxus Plus, L'Usine Nouvelle, LSA, Industries Cosmétiques and CosmeticOBS.

In 2026, at the Carrousel du Louvre, the show was held on the same dates and at the same venue as MakeUp in Paris. The 2027 press release announces no co-location.

On site: what to know

The show takes place at the Carreau du Temple, 4 rue Eugène Spuller, Paris 3rd. The main entrance is at 2 rue Perrée, where a taxi drop-off is possible.

By metro: line 3 to Temple, lines 3 and 11 to Arts et Métiers, lines 3, 5, 8, 9 and 11 to République. By bus: lines 20, 65 and 96. The nearest Vélib' station is no. 3006, 10 rue Perrée, and bike parking is available nearby. All areas are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Under Vigipirate rules, bags must be kept open for inspection.

Opening hours: 10am to 6pm on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 May 2027. Visitors pre-register online to get their badge. For accommodation, the organiser refers to its partner Revolugo.

How much does it cost to exhibit?

The organiser publishes no price list. It offers an all-inclusive package, with a private, fully equipped and decorated space, and the possibility of speaking in the conference programme. Prices and availability are obtained from the sales team via the exhibitor contact page.

Applications go through a file: a precise description of the product or service presented, demonstrating its environmentally responsible approach, assessed on four criteria: design, raw materials used, product use and end of life.

Preparing your visit

For exhibitors

  • Prepare the product file early: the selection focuses on a specific solution, assessed from design to end of life, not on the company's general image.
  • Choose the product to enter for the Green Award, voted on by visitors: in 2025 and 2026, a dedicated exhibition area brought together the products each exhibitor had chosen to enter.
  • Propose a case study together with a client brand, the flagship format of the programme.
  • Document PPWR compliance and the traceability of your offer: these are the two topics put forward for 2027.

For decision-maker visitors

  • Come in pairs, creative and purchasing or CSR: the show is built for these two readings of the same package.
  • If the startups zone and the "Matières à sens et sensations" space from 2026 return, stop by to spot alternative materials before they are industrialised.
  • Identify in advance, in the exhibitor list, the specialists in your material or type of container: with 84 exhibitors in 2026, two days are enough for a full tour.

CSR policy & initiatives

The very theme of the show is sustainable packaging, and exhibitors are admitted on the strength of the environmentally responsible approach of the product they present. The organiser also details its own commitments: stands and furniture stored and reused in the Paris region, 100% recycled carpet, plastic badge holders removed, printing kept to a minimum, no promotional items, and information exchanged between exhibitors and visitors through the LUXE PACK KeepTrack app rather than brochures.

The announced catering favours local, seasonal products from short supply chains, reusable containers, fair-trade coffee and composting of organic waste.

At group level, Infopro Digital publishes an annual environmental, social and governance responsibility report; its 2025-2028 commitment cycle notably includes a reduction trajectory for scope 1 and 2 emissions. No ISO 20121 certification is displayed for the show.

Trajectory analysis

Launched in 2019 at the Carreau du Temple with 64 exhibitors and 1,658 visitors, the show grew in steps to about 100 announced exhibitors in 2024. In 2025, the organiser moved it to the Carrousel du Louvre and added the circular-economy section, then held it in 2026 on the same dates and at the same venue as MakeUp in Paris, according to the April 2026 press release.

The 2027 edition is a return: back to the Carreau du Temple, presented as a human-scale venue conducive to qualified meetings, and a format presented as tight, demanding and editorialised. The name change, which puts the Luxe Pack brand first, goes alongside that of the Monaco show, renamed LUXE PACK WORLD the same year.

The calendar changes too: the show leaves its June-July window for mid-May in 2027, the year the organiser presents as the PPWR regulatory tipping point, the central argument of the edition. For a premium packaging supplier, it is the meeting point where brands come looking for compliance answers as much as aesthetic ones.
