Agoris analysis · updated November 2026

Key takeaways

  • Empreinte Expo Amiens is a one-day professional trade show devoted to sustainable solutions. Its organiser builds it around five themes: environment, energy, eco-construction, innovation and the social and solidarity economy (ESS).
  • Next edition: Thursday 14 October 2027 in Amiens. The 2027 venue has not yet been announced: the organiser does not publish one on any element dated 2027. The 2026 edition was held at Mégacité, the exhibition and convention centre in Amiens.
  • The trade show takes place on the same day as BTP Expo Amiens, a building and public works trade show from the same organiser. BTP Expo is the larger of the two by the number of exhibitors announced; each keeps its own page, exhibition area and figures.
  • Organiser: SO INFINITY, an events agency based in Amiens that has organised professional trade shows in Hauts-de-France and Normandy since 2016. The 2026 edition was co-organised with the CD2E.
  • Annual frequency: editions were held in 2025 and on 15 October 2026, both in Amiens.
  • The organiser announces more than 60 exhibitors and 2,500 professionals for the day. These are expected figures, not a results report.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

The edition page is aimed at six groups: companies in the environment, energy and recycling sectors; companies in the social and solidarity economy; eco-construction and bio-based materials companies; local authorities, elected officials and technicians, and manufacturers; incubators, start-ups and higher-education schools; project owners.

The offer is local by design. The organiser presents the exhibition area as a place to showcase solutions to professionals in the region, build a network and promote sustainable products and services. The trade show does not target the national buyer: it targets the decision-maker in Picardy, public or private, who is looking for a nearby supplier.

Notable exhibitors

The exhibitors page showed around sixty organisations when it was read on 29 October 2026, two weeks after the 2026 edition. The organiser does not date the list: it is not confirmation of attendance in 2027.

It gives a sense of the expected profile: makers of bio-based materials and insulation, such as Dagobaire, which turns recycled textiles into insulation, or Myral, a specialist in external thermal insulation; concrete and network players, such as SEAC and the Sogetrel group; energy suppliers and photovoltaic installers; circular economy and reuse players. The institutional side is very present: the CCI Amiens-Picardie, Amiens Métropole, Fibois Hauts-de-France, Constructys, Ceebios, a centre of expertise on biomimicry, and Crédit Coopératif.

Visitor quality

The organiser presents Empreinte Expo as a day devoted exclusively to professionals. The stated aims are professional networking in the region, finding partners, knowledge of the local market and its projects, sharing good practice and showcasing innovative projects.

The figure of 2,500 professionals is a stated target. It is identical to the one the organiser announced in 2026 for the day shared by the two trade shows: it should be read as attendance shared with BTP Expo, not as an audience specific to Empreinte Expo. No third-party audit of attendance is published.

Programme & community

Conference programme

Round tables and conferences run throughout the day in a dedicated space. The themes shown are energy, environment, innovation, eco-construction and the social and solidarity economy, with public and private speakers sharing lessons learned and practical advice, for exhibitors and visitors alike.

The 2025 edition had 7 conferences. The 2027 programme had not been published at the time of writing.

The Village des Donneurs d'Ordre (buyers' village)

This highlight organises qualified meetings between the region's main buyers and service providers. The format shown: 10 minutes per meeting, 15 minutes between meetings, limited places and priority given to exhibitors. Requests are reviewed in order of arrival and according to the match between the applicant's activity and the needs expressed, and are made by email to the organiser.

Speed Meeting Business

In 2026, the day began with a Speed Meeting Business from 7:00 to 9:00, before the stands opened, with registration through the Trop Event ticketing site. The session was shared by BTP Expo and Empreinte Expo: each participant had one minute to present their business before moving to another table. The 2027 edition page shows a Speed Meeting Business button and the same time slot in its typical programme, but the button still links to the 2026 ticketing page: whether it will return in 2027 remains to be confirmed.

Community & networks

On the 2027 edition page, the organiser shows six partners: the CD2E, Amiens Métropole, Somme Numérique, the EPISSOS, the EPSoMS 80 and Cynergie Sonorisation Live. In 2026, the trade show was co-organised with the CD2E, which supports regional players in the eco-transition towards more sustainable buildings.

Empreinte Expo is part of a series: SO INFINITY also runs it in Rouen and Caen, and organises BTP Expo and Business Expo in Amiens. Each city has its own edition and its own figures.

On site: what to know

The venue for the 2027 edition has not yet been announced: the header of the 2027 page says only Amiens. The 2026 edition was held at Mégacité, 101 avenue de l'Hippodrome, the exhibition and convention centre in Amiens, and the text of the 2027 page, carried over from 2026, still refers to it; this is not a venue announcement for 2027. To be reconfirmed on the official website. Mégacité states more than 10,000 m² of exhibition space and two auditoriums of 356 and 985 seats.

Access to Mégacité, as described by the venue (2026 edition): Paris in 1 hour by train, with TGV Nord services in 20 minutes; by road, the A1, A16 and A29 motorways, Paris 1h30 away; by air, Beauvais 30 minutes away and Roissy Charles de Gaulle 1 hour. By bus, line N4, towards Pôle Licorne, serves the Pôle Licorne stop.

The typical schedule shown by the organiser: Speed Meeting Business from 7:00 to 9:00 (to be confirmed for 2027), public opening and inauguration at 9:00, round tables and conferences from 9:30 to 17:00, Village des Donneurs d'Ordre from 9:30 to 16:30, catering area open from 11:30 to 15:00, lounge area all day, closing at 17:00 and exhibitor dismantling from 17:00 to 20:00. The organiser presents it as an overview of a typical day: the 2027 times remain to be confirmed.

Visitor access is by badge: the 2027 edition page offers a download button that still links to the Trop Event ticketing page for the 2026 edition, to be reconfirmed for 2027.

How much does it cost to exhibit

SO INFINITY does not publish a price list online. The registration form is requested from the organiser and returned by email only, to the address salons@so-infinity.com shown on the Become an exhibitor page. The form download button was not active at the time of reading. A separate partnership pack is offered on request to the same address.

Preparing your visit

For the exhibitor

  • Choose your trade show: Empreinte Expo for an offer in energy transition, eco-construction or circular economy, BTP Expo for an offer centred on the building site. The two trade shows share the same day.
  • Ask early for a slot at the Village des Donneurs d'Ordre: places are limited and exhibitors get priority.
  • Offer to speak: the organiser invites exhibitors to take part in a conference, workshop or round table.
  • Find out about the morning Speed Meeting Business: in 2026, it brought together participants from both trade shows; its return in 2027 is not confirmed.

For the decision-maker visiting

  • Download your badge in advance from the organiser's ticketing site, once the opening of 2027 ticketing is confirmed.
  • Prepare a short list of exhibitors from the exhibitors page, once the 2027 list is published.
  • If the Speed Meeting returns in 2027, arrive from 7:00; otherwise, plan your visit around the programme's round tables.

CSR policy & initiatives

Sustainable development is the very subject of the trade show: its five themes, its conferences on CSR and the profile of its exhibitors place it in this field. This is programme content, to be distinguished from a commitment by the organiser.

On the organiser's side, the SO INFINITY CSR policy page describes a gender-balanced team, the choice of geographically close suppliers and of caterers working with local produce, waste reduction during events and sponsorship actions. It also shows an EcoVadis label, without stating the level. No carbon footprint specific to the trade show is published.

On the venue side for the 2026 edition, Mégacité has been ISO 20121 certified since June 2022, a standard covering space rental, event production and hosting. The Amiens destination has also received the Destination Innovante Durable label from France Congrès et Événements.

Trajectory analysis

Empreinte Expo Amiens is a young trade show, and its public history rests on little data: no edition has published a figures report. What can be read is a choice of format. In 2026, the organiser brought Empreinte Expo and BTP Expo together on the same day at Mégacité, with shared ticketing and a shared Speed Meeting, and announced nearly 250 local exhibitors and more than 2,500 professionals for the two combined. The 2027 edition repeats this pairing.

For an exhibitor in the ecological transition, this pairing changes the picture: the smaller trade show benefits from the footfall of the larger one, and eco-construction players meet, within the same day, the building firms that are their direct customers. The downside is shared visibility, and attendance figures that cannot be attributed to one trade show or the other.

Dates for the 2028 edition had not been announced at the time of writing.

All data not attributed to a source comes from the organiser's website.

Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (monexpo-pro.com).
