Key takeaways

  • ENVIROpro Sud-Ouest Bordeaux is the trade show for environmental and energy solutions held in Bordeaux: water, energy, waste, air, risk management, soil, mobility, planning, green building, CSR and biodiversity under one roof, aimed at public and private organisations, with a Nouvelle-Aquitaine focus emphasised by the organiser.
  • Next edition: Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 March 2028, at Parc des Expositions de Bordeaux, cours Charles Bricaud, in the Bordeaux-Lac district. Free entry with a badge.
  • Organiser: NexFairs, a company based in Villeneuve-sur-Lot which runs the ENVIROpro series in several French regions. No co-organiser.
  • The edition is a long way off: several pages of the website are still being prepared (exhibitor list, conferences, visitor registration), and the presentation page still refers to 2027. The days (1 and 2 March 2028) appear in the network website's calendar and in the structured data of the Bordeaux page; the Bordeaux pages only display "2028" in plain text, and opening hours have not been published.
  • Beware of namesakes: the organiser also files the Toulouse edition (6 and 7 October 2027, at Diagora Toulouse-Labège) under the Sud-Ouest name. These are two separate trade shows, in two different cities.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

The offer is organised into eleven families: water; energy; waste and cleanliness; air and odours; risks and nuisances; mobility; urban planning; green building; contaminated sites and soil; biodiversity and natural habitats; other environmental products, services or topics.

The nomenclature published by the organiser, still marked "information coming soon" and "non-exhaustive list", mixes, for each family, equipment, materials and products with services (engineering, auditing, training, IT). The format is designed to be "human-scale", which the organiser justifies by its aim of prioritising the number of contacts per exhibitor.

No exhibitor number is announced with a date for the 2028 edition, and no report from a past Bordeaux edition has been published.

Notable exhibitors

The 2028 exhibitor list is not yet online: the website states that it is published on average one month before the trade show, and invites visitors to contact the organiser for the list of exhibitors registered so far. It will be available on the official exhibitor page, sorted by solution family and by business sector.

Visitor quality

The trade show addresses both public and private organisations, and targets every function in charge of environmental policy: management and elected officials; environment, CSR, QHSE, sustainability, energy, waste and water functions; quality, health and safety; consultancies; project management; purchasing, sourcing and human resources; technical, production, R&D, innovation and maintenance functions; logistics, transport and fleet management.

The sectors invited cover towns and local authorities, industry, construction, infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, retail, logistics, hospitals and healthcare, quarries and mining, and services. To justify the choice of Bordeaux, the organiser highlights the Nouvelle-Aquitaine economic area, its competitiveness clusters and business clusters, and a pool of nearly one million active establishments within 2h30 of the trade show. No OJS certification or third-party audit of attendance is published.

Programme & community

Conference programme

A series of conferences on environmental topics is open to all visitors. The 2028 programme is not yet published: the organiser puts it online around one month before the trade show.

Announced highlights

The Les + ENVIROpro page for the Bordeaux trade show announces a Start-up area dedicated to young environmental companies, a new-products area placed along a route every visitor must take, and a free business appointment service between visitors and exhibitors, with the booking platform opening around one month before the trade show. For exhibitors, a wall of job offers is also planned.

Community & networks

The Bordeaux trade show's partners page lists specialist media outlets and networks, without linking them to a dated edition: Actu-Environnement, Environnement Magazine, BTP Magazine, Biogaz Magazine, Construction 21, among others.

ENVIROpro operates as a series of regional trade shows run by the same organiser, with one listing per city: the Angers edition is covered on the ENVIROpro Grand-Ouest listing (24 and 25 March 2027). For an exhibitor targeting a national or international market, Pollutec is the trade show with a European dimension in the same thematic field (Lyon, 12 to 15 October 2027); ENVIROpro plays the regional-proximity card.

On site: what you need to know

The trade show is held at Parc des Expositions de Bordeaux, cours Charles Bricaud, in Bordeaux-Lac.

By car, access is via the ring road, exit 4 Bordeaux-Lac Parc des Expositions, from the A10 (Paris, Poitiers, Saintes), the A62 (Toulouse, Agen), the A63 (Bayonne), the A65 (Pau, Mont-de-Marsan) and the A89 (Brive, Périgueux). The centre has a free car park of 15,000 spaces, 8,000 of which are in the immediate vicinity. By tram, line C links Gare Saint-Jean and Place des Quinconces to the Parc des Expositions stop; bus 25 also serves the site. Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport is around ten minutes away via the western ring road.

The official website offers a car-sharing platform (Covievent) and a travel climate-impact calculator. For accommodation, the agency Revolugo is presented as the official partner for the 2028 edition and offers hotels at negotiated rates.

The visitor badge is free; registration opens around one month before the trade show.

Planning your visit

For exhibitors

  • Prices are not published: they are requested from the sales team via the website's form, which also mentions a special offer for companies under two years old.
  • Several tools are included in all packages, according to the organiser: invitations by email, text message and post, a contact-scanning app, an appointment-booking module, and six months of the Premium plan on the ENVIROpro connect directory. At a regional trade show, the exhibitor also builds the visitor audience: these tools are there to bring your own customers.
  • Offer to speak at a conference, round table or workshop: slots are open to exhibitors, subject to availability.
  • With an edition in March 2028, the calendar leaves time to compare with the other stops in the network, including Toulouse in October 2027.

For decision-maker visitors

  • Arrive with identified projects: the regional format, presented as "human-scale", aims at quality of contacts rather than footfall volume.
  • Book your appointments through the dedicated platform as soon as it opens, one month before the trade show.
  • Consult the exhibitor list by solution family to target stands, as soon as it is published.
  • Sign up for the badge-opening alert offered on the website, as registration only opens one month before the event.

CSR policy & initiatives

The trade show publishes an Our commitments page. The organiser states there that it offsets its carbon emissions through several projects: planting paulownia trees in agroforestry with MANA in Occitanie, funding a wildflower fallow with EcoTree, and planting trees in the Ginestet forest with Nos Grandes Forêts. It also commits to reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions, controlling the trade show's waste, adopting responsible catering, favouring eco-designed equipment, practising eco-communication and raising awareness among suppliers, partners, exhibitors and visitors.

These commitments are declarative and common to the ENVIROpro series: no quantified carbon footprint for the event and no ISO 20121 certification specific to the trade show have been published.

The venue provides a documented guarantee: Beam, which operates Parc des Expositions de Bordeaux, states that it is ISO 20121 certified (a certification of the organisation, not of the trade show) and highlights a park of 60,000 photovoltaic panels and the use of 100% green electricity. The site is also served by the tram.

How the trade show has evolved

Bordeaux is not a new stop for ENVIROpro. The organiser states that the first trade show in the series was held in 2021 and lists Bordeaux among the cities already hosted; at the end of 2022, the specialist press noted that the network had already made a stop in Bordeaux and Angers. No date or report for this first Bordeaux edition is published on the current official website. The trade show's presentation page, which still refers to 2027, mentions a "second edition" in Bordeaux, with no further detail.

Trajectory analysis

Since then, the network has added other cities, including Toulouse (22 and 23 November 2023, then 19 and 20 November 2025, at the MEETT). The organiser's current calendar announces Strasbourg (October 2026), Angers (March 2027), Dunkerque (June 2027), Toulouse (October 2027), then Bordeaux, Martigues, Rennes, Douai and Nancy in 2028. The return to Bordeaux in March 2028 fits into this network, with one particularity: the South-West now has two stops, Toulouse in autumn 2027 and Bordeaux the following spring. Without published figures for the first edition, it is too early to measure any progress: the 2028 edition will serve as a baseline.

All data that does not mention its source comes from the organiser's website.

Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (enviropro-salon.com).
