Key takeaways

  • ENVIROpro Nord Dunkerque is the professional trade show for environmental and energy solutions that the organiser NexFairs is bringing to Dunkerque for the first time: water, energy, waste, air, risks, soils, mobility, urban planning, green building, CSR and biodiversity, over two days and in a single venue, for public and private players in the north of France.
  • Next edition: Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 June 2027, at the Kursaal, the Dunkerque congress centre, facing the sea in Malo-les-Bains. Open 9am to 6pm on the Wednesday and 9am to 5pm on the Thursday. Free entry with a badge.
  • Organiser: NexFairs, a company based in Villeneuve-sur-Lot that rolls out the ENVIROpro series in several French regions. No co-organiser.
  • A first for the city: the organiser presents the event as "inédit à Dunkerque" (new to Dunkerque). The ENVIROpro Nord brand has so far been held in Douai, in June 2023 and then in June 2025, and is due to return there in 2028: ENVIROpro Nord Douai has a separate listing.
  • A coastal flavour: alongside the villages devoted to risks and mobility, the Dunkerque stop announces a "MER & LITTORAL" (sea and coast) village focused on coastal erosion, sustainable ports and the blue economy.
  • No attendance report exists yet for Dunkerque, where the trade show has never been held. To give a sense of the brand's scale, the organiser announced more than 3,500 participants for the 2025 edition in Douai, visitors, exhibitors and partners combined.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

The organiser describes its exhibitors as manufacturers and distributors of equipment and materials, or service providers, who respond to the environmental challenges of private players (industry, construction, agriculture, tourism, transport, logistics, retail, services) and public ones (towns, local authorities, administrations, territories).

The offer is organised into eleven families: water; energy; waste and cleanliness; air and odours; risks and nuisances; mobility; urban planning; green building; contaminated sites and soil; biodiversity and natural habitats; other environmental products, services or topics. The detailed nomenclature, still flagged "Information coming soon", goes down to items such as flood and coastal protection, marine energy, hydrogen, battery recycling or, in the Mobility family, retrofit and electrification.

No exhibitor report exists yet for this first edition in Dunkerque.

Notable exhibitors

The 2027 exhibitor list is not yet online: the website states that it is published on average one month before the trade show, and invites visitors to contact the organiser for the list of exhibitors registered so far. It will be available on the official exhibitor page, sorted by solution family and by business sector.

Visitor quality

The trade show addresses public and private organisations alike, and targets every function in charge of environmental policy: management and elected officials; environment, CSR, QHSE, sustainable development, energy, waste and water functions; quality, health and safety; consultancies and design offices; project management; purchasing, sourcing and human resources; technical, production, R&D, innovation and maintenance functions; logistics, transport and fleet management.

The sectors invited cover towns and territories, industry and eco-industry, construction and public works, transport, logistics and infrastructure, hospitals and healthcare, mines and quarries, agriculture, tourism and services.

To justify the choice of Dunkerque, the organiser highlights an industrial area in transformation (electric battery gigafactories, low-carbon hydrogen, CO2 capture and storage, decarbonisation of the steel and metal industries, circular economy) and the role of the port, presented as the third largest in France, in sustainable logistics, offshore wind, alternative fuels and the decarbonisation of maritime transport. It also announces more than 410,000 active establishments in the Hauts-de-France. No OJS certification or third-party audit of attendance is published.

Programme & community

Conference programme

A cycle of conferences on environmental topics is open to all visitors. The programme for the Dunkerque edition is not yet published: the dedicated page says it will be available soon, and the organiser announces that it will go online one month before the trade show. Exhibitors can propose a conference, a round table or a workshop, subject to available slots.

Villages and highlights

Three themed villages are announced for Dunkerque. The "MER & LITTORAL" (sea and coast) village is to bring together players in coastal protection and management, water quality, marine biodiversity, erosion and coastal flooding, sustainable ports, the blue economy, depollution and the climate adaptation of coastal territories.

The "Risques" (risks) village is devoted to the prevention and management of floods, forest fires and ground movements, industrial safety and technological risks, the management of health and climate crises, and tools for warning, resilience and business continuity. The "Mobilité & Logistique Durable" (sustainable mobility and logistics) village announces vehicles, charging points, training, the regulatory context, a test track, conferences and round tables.

The "Les + ENVIROpro" page adds a Start-up village, a new products area placed on a compulsory route for visitors and a free business meeting service between visitors and exhibitors, whose platform opens one month before the trade show. These highlights are announced by the organiser; their detailed content is still to come.

Community & networks

The partners page of the trade show lists specialist media and networks, without linking them to a dated edition: Actu-Environnement, Environnement Magazine, Construction 21, Hydrogen+, Novethic, the Orée association, Profession Recycleur and Le Journal des Entreprises, among others. The organiser also publishes a weekly newsletter, ENVIRO'solutions, and an online directory of environmental solutions, ENVIROpro'connect.

ENVIROpro works as a series of regional trade shows run by the same organiser, with one listing per city: ENVIROpro Grand-Ouest in Angers (24 and 25 March 2027), ENVIROpro Sud-Ouest Toulouse (6 and 7 October 2027) and ENVIROpro Sud-Ouest Bordeaux (1 and 2 March 2028). The organiser's calendar also announces Strasbourg (7 and 8 October 2026), then Martigues, Rennes, Douai and Nancy in 2028.

On site: what you need to know

The trade show takes place at the Kursaal, the Dunkerque congress centre, 7 bis place du Casino, in the heart of the seaside resort of Malo-les-Bains, beside the beach.

By car, the trade show's website announces 800 parking spaces nearby and journey times of 35 minutes from Calais, 45 minutes from Saint-Omer, one hour from Lille, Boulogne-sur-Mer or Bruges, and 1 hour 50 minutes from Brussels. The bus network of the Dunkerque urban community is free: lines C3 or C4 and Noctibus N2, Malo Plage stop. By train, Dunkerque is 35 minutes from Lille, 40 minutes from Calais and two hours from Paris; from the station, the Kursaal is about ten minutes away by bus and about twenty minutes on foot. Lille-Lesquin airport is 1 hour 10 minutes away.

The venue states that it has level access, lifts serving every floor and parking spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility in the immediate vicinity.

The trade show's website offers a carpooling platform (Covievent) and a calculator for the climate impact of the journey. For accommodation, the agency Revolugo is presented as the official partner of the 2027 edition and offers hotels at negotiated rates. The visitor badge is free; registration opens about one month before the trade show.

Preparing your visit

For exhibitors

  • Prices are not published: the organiser presents them as affordable, with offers adapted to every type of organisation, and refers enquirers to its sales team. A special offer is aimed at start-ups less than two years old.
  • According to the organiser, several tools are included in all offers: invitations by e-mail, SMS and post, a contact-scanning app, an appointment-booking module, a job-ads wall, promotion on its social networks and six months of the Premium plan on the ENVIROpro'connect directory. At a local trade show, these tools are first of all a way to bring in your own clients and prospects.
  • For a company positioned on the coast, ports or coastal risks, the "MER & LITTORAL" village is the most targeted spot of this stop.
  • The ENVIROpro Nord brand held its first two editions in Douai, moves to Dunkerque in 2027 and is due to return to Douai in 2028: compare the two sites before deciding according to where your clients are based.

For the decision-making visitor

  • Sign up for the badge-opening alert offered on the visitor badge page: registration opens about one month before the trade show.
  • Book your meetings through the dedicated platform as soon as it opens, one month before the trade show.
  • Consult the exhibitor list by solution family as soon as it is published, and look in the programme for the conferences linked to your projects.
  • Travel by train and then bus: the urban area's network is free and the Kursaal is about ten minutes from the station.

CSR policy & initiatives

The trade show publishes an "Our commitments" page. There, the organiser declares that it offsets its carbon emissions through several projects: planting paulownia trees in agroforestry with MANA in Occitanie, funding a wildflower fallow with EcoTree, and planting trees in the Ginestet forest with Nos Grandes Forêts. It also commits to reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions, controlling the trade show's waste, adopting responsible catering, favouring responsible and eco-designed equipment, practising eco-communication and raising awareness among suppliers, partners, exhibitors and visitors.

These commitments are declarative and common to the series: they can also be found on the NexFairs website, which adds the aim of favouring soft transport modes. No quantified carbon footprint of the event and no ISO 20121 certification is published.

On the venue side, the Kursaal's professional website offers in its organiser kit a document, "Our CSR approach" ("Notre démarche RSE"): the congress centre lists there the Qualicongrès (2009), Quality and Sustainable Development Charter ("Charte Qualité et Développement durable", 2013) and ISO 9001 (2023) certifications, heating that is more than 60% covered by heat recovery thanks to the urban network, waste sorting in line with the community charter, cigarette-butt recycling and water fountains to limit plastic bottles. These commitments are declarative: the document mentions neither ISO 20121 nor ISO 14001 certification, and ISO 9001 covers quality management, not the environment.

As for travel, the free bus network of the urban area, the carpooling platform and the climate impact calculator offered by the trade show make it easier to come without a private car.

How the trade show has evolved

ENVIROpro was launched in 2021, according to the series' website, and has since established itself in several regions. In the north, the ENVIROpro Nord brand first took place in Douai, at the Gayant Expo exhibition centre: from 6 to 8 June 2023, for an edition that the organiser presented as the first in the Hauts-de-France, then on 18 and 19 June 2025, for a "2nd rendez-vous" that closed on "more than 3,500 participants". The June 2027 stop in Dunkerque is the first in the city.

The Dunkerque presentation page mentions a "2nde édition" (2nd edition) of ENVIROpro Nord, a wording already used for the 2025 Douai edition: the rank of the Dunkerque stop in the regional series is therefore not established.

Trajectory analysis

The move to Dunkerque shifts the brand towards the coast and towards an area that the organiser describes as a laboratory of green reindustrialisation, as reflected in the "MER & LITTORAL" village. The regional calendar is not a biennial cycle in a single city: after two editions in Douai, the Dunkerque stop comes one year before the announced return to Douai in 2028.

For this first edition, no report yet makes it possible to measure the audience: the only published benchmark for the brand is that of Douai in 2025, more than 3,500 participants without any breakdown between visitors and exhibitors. The Dunkerque report will show whether the coast attracts a different audience from that of the Douai area.

All data that does not mention its source comes from the organiser's website.

Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (enviropro-salon.com).
