Who exhibits

Typical profile

The trade show is divided into five worlds, each with its own page on the official website. EspritMeuble brings together furniture: chairs, tables, armchairs, sofas, living and dressing rooms. EspritSommeil gathers bedding, its accessories and the sector's major retail brands. EspritDéco covers rugs, lighting and decorative accessories. EspritCuisine ranges from kitchen specialists to appliances, taking in equipment, retail brands, services, training, 3D modelling and installation solutions. Finally, EspritContract is presented as “the trade show of expertise serving projects”: furniture, seating, lighting, fit-out, wall and floor coverings and decoration for hotels and fit-out projects.

The offer is international, with a European base. The brand search engine on the website filters by country: Germany, Belgium, China, Denmark, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal and Turkey.

Notable exhibitors

The full list of brands can be consulted on the official website, with a filter by world and by country.

Several exhibitors have confirmed their presence at the 2026 edition in the “La rencontre” series of interviews published by the organiser: the French furniture manufacturer Akante, present since 2013 according to its interview; the Belgian sofa specialist Hima, present since the creation of the trade show according to its own interview; the bedding makers Davilaine and Ebac, and the Spanish Gomarco in EspritSommeil; the Portuguese Cácio; the Italian Il Benessere, recliner armchairs and convertible sofas; the Polish group Poldem and its seating brands; and Tablacasa, which is due to launch the Guermonprez brand there. The retail group GRAM, with nearly 300 points of sale, has also announced its presence.

Retail also exhibits: for the 2025 edition, the trade press listed among the exhibitors French retail groups such as Atlas Home, Le Géant du Meuble, Grand Litier, Maison de la Literie, Story, La Halle au Sommeil, Raison Home and Cuisinov.

Visitor quality

The trade show is strictly restricted to trade professionals. Its audience comes from furniture retail: independent stores, buying groups and retail chains, who come to prepare their purchases for the following year.

The official website displays key figures without dating them: 75% of visitors are decision-makers, 82% come from France and 18% from abroad. For 2026, the organiser announces that it is doubling its budget for inviting international buyers, targeting French-speaking countries and running a campaign aimed at the main independent British retailers.

EspritContract targets a different profile: interior designers, project management assistants, FF&E buyers, architects and project owners. According to its page, more than 2,500 professionals from this market attend the trade show.

The official website mentions neither OJS certification nor a third-party audit of attendance.

Events & community

Conference programme

The theme of the 2026 edition is “At the Heart of Innovation”. The organiser announces conferences and workshops refocused on practical topics for stores: generating footfall, improving the customer experience, converting better. New short formats, the “Talks Experts”, are due to complete the programme. At present, the conferences page states that the programme will be available soon.

For reference, the 2025 edition brought together 120 speakers for 45 conferences on the M Studio stage, available as replays on the trade show's YouTube channel, according to the trade press.

What's new in 2026

Two new features are announced by the organiser. The Lab IA would be a space devoted to digital tools and artificial intelligence solutions that can be deployed in stores: sales support, merchandising, customer relations, marketing. The “turnkey stand” (“stand clé en main”) would be offered to exhibitors to help them control their cost of participation, through optimised floor areas, pooled purchasing and centralised coordination of technical services.

M Awards and evening events

On Saturday 21 November at 7:00 pm, the trade show presents the M AWARDS, its innovation trophies. The jury brings together the trade press and national buyers; the awards cover furniture, seating, bedding, kitchen furniture, household appliances and sanitaryware, services and accessories, as well as a Grand Prix for committed initiatives (“Grand Prix de l'initiative engagée”). The trophies are presented in partnership with the FNAEM, the SNEC and the GIFAM.

Conviviality is part of the format. On Saturday and Sunday, happy hours are held from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on the village square. On Monday 23 November, the Grand Apéro evening, announced with 2,000 professionals, starts at 7:00 pm; the evening events are free to enter.

EspritContract

The contract area, presented as a 4th edition, organises qualified business meetings between brands, buyers and specifiers. The format announces up to 10 meetings per brand, depending on its appeal. The page presents sessions on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 November in the morning, while its practical information box mentions only Tuesday 24, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Brands have a dedicated space and a presence in the EspritContract book given to guests. The installation “La chambre qui déraille” (“The Bedroom That Goes Off the Rails”), created by Figurz and Studio Hoche, stages the small mishaps of a hotel room.

Community & networks

The institutional partners listed are L'Ameublement français, the CNEF, the GIFAM, Parlons Literie and the SNEC. The organiser says it is continuing its coordination with L'Ameublement français and developing partnerships with Spanish, Portuguese, Belgian, Polish and German professional organisations, including a partnership under way with the AMK, the German federation for kitchens and built-in appliances.

On the press side, the trade show lists around thirty media partners, including Le Courrier du Meuble, Home Fashion News, Meuble Info, Cuisines & Bains, Art & Décoration, Marie Claire, Intramuros and Archistorm.

All year round, the News section publishes exhibitor interviews and market articles.

How much does it cost to exhibit?

EspritMeuble does not publish any price list online: participation terms go through the trade show's exhibitor area, and for EspritContract through a request to the organiser. The amounts below are indicative orders of magnitude for a four-day trade show at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. They are in no way EspritMeuble's official prices.
Poste de dépenseFourchette basseFourchette haute
Floor space and stand (on quotation, turnkey package announced for 2026)€5,000€40,000
Fit-out, scenography and display furniture€3,000€30,000
Transport, handling and installation of collections€1,500€10,000
On-site team, accommodation and meals (4 days in Paris)€3,000€12,000
Communication, client invitations and sales materials€1,000€8,000
INDICATIVE TOTAL (4 days)~€13,500~€100,000

The gap is mainly down to floor area and staging: a sofa or kitchen manufacturer presents bulky collections, whereas a software publisher or an accessories maker makes do with a compact stand. The organiser says it wants to reduce the overall cost of participation with its turnkey stands. Prices to be requested from EspritMeuble.

Preparing your visit

For exhibitors

  • Book early: the trade show takes place in mid-November, when retailers are preparing their purchases for the following year, and several brands have exhibited for several editions, such as Akante and Hima, who say so in the organiser's interviews.
  • Keep collection launches for the trade show: several exhibitors present most of their annual novelties there, and the M Awards reward innovation.
  • Look at the turnkey stand offer announced for 2026 if the aim is to limit the overall cost.
  • For a hotel or office offer, look at EspritContract and its scheduled business meetings with buyers and specifiers.

For decision-maker visitors

  • Plan at least two days: the president of the trade show recommended in 2023 spending a minimum of two days to see the brands and their novelties.
  • Prepare your route by world, furniture, bedding, decoration, kitchen and contract, using the brand search engine on the website.
  • Keep Monday evening for networking: the Monday evening event, announced with 2,000 professionals, is the main networking moment of the programme.
  • For a contract project, register for one of EspritContract's business meeting sessions, scheduled in the morning.

CSR policy & initiatives

The trade show's website does not publish a formalised CSR policy, a carbon footprint assessment or ISO 20121 certification: the menu has no Commitments or Sustainability section, and the organiser, a company founded by furniture professionals, does not publish a group-level programme.

There are signals in the trade show's content. The M Awards include a Grand Prix for committed initiatives. The News section has published articles and conferences on the circular economy with Ecomaison, the furniture industry's eco-organisation, on eco-design and on upcycling. These are programme themes, not an organisational commitment by the trade show.

The venue provides a documented framework: Viparis, operator of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, renewed its ISO 20121 certification in 2025 for the 4th consecutive cycle.

Trajectory analysis

The trade show has changed scale in a decade. Launched in 2012 with 150 brands and nearly 6,000 visitors, it exceeded 12,200 visitors and 300 exhibitors in 2022, for its tenth edition. Its co-founders, Alain Liault and Gaëtan Ménard, have turned it into an industry trade show.

After more than 12,200 visitors in 2022, the 2024 edition counted 12,244 visitors, down about 10% on the previous edition according to the trade press, then 11,217 in 2025, slightly fewer than in 2024. In a market that the organiser describes as undergoing deep transformation, the responses announced for 2026 target both sides of the stand: exhibitors' cost of participation, with the turnkey stand, and a wider visitor base, with the doubled international buyer budget.

The most recent development is diversification into contract. EspritContract, whose page shows a 4th edition, opens the trade show to specifiers from hospitality and professional spaces, a different audience from the stores that have formed its base.
