Key points
- EuroPCR describes itself as “the World-Leading Course in interventional cardiovascular medicine”: it is the major annual event for interventional cardiology, held in Paris. The format is that of an international medical congress, in English, with a scientific programme, sponsored sessions and an industry exhibition area.
- Next edition: Tuesday 18 to Friday 21 May 2027, at the Palais des Congrès de Paris, Porte Maillot. The 2027 edition is held under the banner “50 Years of Coronary Interventions”.
- Organiser: Europa Group, a SAS based in Toulouse, publisher of the PCRonline website and organiser of the PCR courses.
- Annual frequency, at the Palais des Congrès de Paris for several editions.
- Results of the 2026 edition published by the organiser: 12,147 participants and 106 industry partners. In 2025, the results showed 12,177 participants and 96 industry partners.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
EuroPCR does not work like a conventional trade show: the exhibition is one of the levers of a broader package that the organiser offers to its “Industry Partners”. In 2026, the dedicated industry page described an announced exhibition area of almost 5,000 sqm, spread over levels 1 and 2 of the Palais des Congrès, with a space reserved for start-ups and innovation. The same package includes sponsored sessions built into the programme (the organiser announced 12 rooms for these sessions in 2026), a hands-on training space, the Training Village, indirect support for practitioners' attendance, advertising and filmed interviews.
The industry partners are mainly manufacturers of cardiovascular medical devices: stents and balloons, percutaneous valves, interventional imaging, intravascular lithotripsy, circulatory support, simulation. The page does not say which of them have a stand. The list of 2026 partners mixes large groups and younger companies, European and Asian, which reflects the international dimension of the congress.
Notable exhibitors
The 2026 edition Industry page thanks the industry partners of that edition. These include B. Braun, Canon Medical Systems, Cordis, GE HealthCare, Philips, Siemens Healthineers, Teleflex, Penumbra, Shockwave Medical, Johnson & Johnson MedTech (Heart Recovery), Inari (now part of Stryker), MicroPort, Biosensors International, Asahi Intecc Europe, OrbusNeich, Elixir Medical, JenaValve Technology, Recor Medical Europe, AMGEN and Haemonetics. These are the 2026 partners (the page does not say which of them exhibit): the list for the 2027 edition had not been published at the time of writing.
Quality of the audience
The audience is that of an entire specialty, on a global scale. The organiser states that for over 35 years the congress has brought together interventional cardiologists, surgeons, imaging specialists, nurses and allied health professionals. The registration fees distinguish between physicians, nurses, allied professionals and trainees (“Fellows”), exhibitors and industry representatives.
The 2026 results give a sense of the scale of the event: 12,147 participants, more than 1,100 faculty members, more than 1,500 presenters, more than 500 educational sessions and more than 200 training workshops. These figures are provided by the organiser, with no published third-party audit. As the congress is also followed online, the source does not distinguish between on-site and remote participants.
Activities & community
Conference programme
The 2027 programme had not yet been detailed at the time of writing. To judge the format, the 2026 edition offers a benchmark: a four-day scientific programme, 145 sessions streamed live on the congress platform, 24 live cases from 8 centres, 76 international collaborations and 3,494 submissions received. The live cases, broadcast from catheterisation labs in Europe, are the congress's trademark.
The main themes cover the whole discipline: TAVI, acute coronary syndromes, drug-eluting stents and balloons, left main, calcified lesions, stable coronary artery disease. The latest clinical trials (“Late-Breaking Trials”) are presented there.
In 2026, the congress was accredited by the EBAC for 18 continuing medical education credits.
Innovation and related events
The day before the congress, on Monday 17 May 2027, the PCR Innovators Day takes place, a day that brings together physicians, engineers, entrepreneurs and investors around cardiovascular innovation. For a medical device start-up, it is often the most relevant way in: in 2026, the organiser offered young companies stands in the exhibition's Innovation Corner and pitch sessions. In 2026, the PCR Fellows Course, aimed at early-career practitioners, and The Physiology Course were also held the day before the congress; their 2027 dates are still to be confirmed.
Community & networks
EuroPCR is one of the courses of the PCR family, which has eight and also organises regional congresses such as PCR London Valves, GulfPCR-GIM or AICT-AsiaPCR. The community relies on the journal EuroIntervention, launched by PCR in 2005, and on the free membership programme PCR Companions.
The history of the congress goes back to 1989 in Toulouse, where Prof. Jean Marco created an international course in English devoted to complex coronary angioplasty. The course then moved to Paris, took the name Paris Course on Revascularisation, which is where the acronym PCR comes from, and became EuroPCR after merging with a cardiovascular congress in Rotterdam.
On site: what you need to know
The congress takes place at the Palais des Congrès de Paris, 2 place de la Porte Maillot, in the 17th arrondissement. In 2026, the organiser announced sponsored session rooms spread over the three levels of the building.
Getting there by public transport: metro line 1, Porte Maillot station; RER C and E, Neuilly - Porte Maillot station; tram T3b; buses 43, 73, 82, 244 and PC.
For accommodation and flights, the organiser asks that you book exclusively through its official platforms, accessible from the travel and hotel page, and reminds attendees that its official communications come from addresses ending in @europa-organisation.com. The same page points to information on visas; the invitation letter service is marked “Coming soon” at the time of writing.

At EuroPCR, the budget is built around scientific visibility as much as the stand: sponsored sessions, interviews and a presence in the Training Village are negotiated with the PCR Industry team. For medical device companies, the framework is the MedTech Europe code of ethics, with which the 2026 edition was judged compliant.
Preparing your visit
For exhibitors
- Contact the PCR Industry team via the form on the Industry page to obtain the partnership guide: it is the only way in to stand space, sponsored sessions and advertising offers.
- Budget for badges: exhibitors register at €1,450 incl. VAT at the Early rate (13 October 2026 to 10 February 2027), €1,575 at the Regular rate (11 February to 14 April) and €1,750 at the Late rate (15 April to 16 May). Industry representatives pay €1,850, €1,975 and then €2,150 incl. VAT.
- For a start-up, look at the PCR Innovators Day on 17 May 2027 and at the innovation spaces of the 2026 exhibition (2027 offer not published).
- Check the compliance framework: the 2026 edition of EuroPCR was assessed as compliant with the MedTech Europe code, which matters for medical device companies subject to the Conference Vetting System.
- Prepare materials in English: it is the language of the congress and the audience is international.
For decision-maker visitors
- Register early on the registration page: at the Early rate, €1,350 incl. VAT for a physician and €475 incl. VAT for a nurse, allied health professional or trainee, against €1,650 and €775 at the Late rate. An online package is also available.
- On-site registrants have access to the hands-on workshops of the Training Village and to the digital content (the digital package is included).
- Payment by bank card is mandatory for individual registrations and for orders of fewer than 15 badges.
- Book your hotel and transport through the official platforms, which according to the organiser offer negotiated rates to on-site registrants.
CSR policy & initiatives
The congress website does not present a dedicated page on its environmental commitments, and no ISO 20121 certification specific to EuroPCR is displayed.
At group level, Europa Group states that since the beginning of 2025 it has begun a process of becoming a “société à mission” (a purpose-driven company), under the project name “Groupe à Mission”: this status requires writing social and environmental objectives into the company's articles of association and setting up a mission committee.
As for the venue, the Palais des Congrès de Paris, operated by Viparis, displays a renewed ISO 20121 certification and a BREEAM In-Use rating of “excellent”. Viparis highlights an on-site waste sorting centre with an average recovery rate of 56%, water served in glass bottles, the gradual switch to LED lighting and centralised delivery logistics off site for organisers and exhibitors.

Trend analysis
Attendance is stable at a high level: around 12,000 participants each year since 2024, after a little over 11,500 in 2023. The number of industry partners is rising, from 95 in 2024 to 106 in 2026, and the content has expanded markedly: more than 1,500 presenters in 2025 and 2026 against more than 900 in 2023, and 3,494 submissions in 2026 against more than 2,400 in 2023.
For a manufacturer, the most useful trend is the congress's opening to innovation: a start-up zone in the exhibition, the Innovation Corner, pitch sessions and the PCR Innovators Day the day before. The format remains that of a medical congress where visibility comes first through the scientific programme.
