Key takeaways

  • HighTech Cardio, also written High-Tech or High Tech Cardio on the official website, is a French interventional cardiology congress held in Marseille. It covers coronary and structural activity, with a dedicated session for cath lab paramedical staff.
  • Next edition: Wednesday 10 to Friday 12 March 2027, at the Palais du Pharo, 58 boulevard Charles Livon, in the 7th arrondissement of Marseille.
  • Change of calendar: the 2026 edition took place from 28 to 30 January. The president of the 2027 edition states that the event will be held "exceptionnellement en Mars" (exceptionally in March).
  • Organiser: Com&Co Events, a Marseille-based company specialising in medical events, which runs the website, registrations and partnerships. The 2027 committee is chaired by Thomas Cuisset (Hôpital La Timone, Marseille).
  • Annual frequency: the 2025, 2026 and 2027 editions are documented on the official website.
  • Results of the 2026 edition published by the organiser: more than 930 participants on site, more than 36 sponsors and more than 90 speakers.
  • Congress format: plenary sessions, industry symposia, practical forums and clinical cases, punctuated by breaks set aside for visiting the stands.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

As at most medical congresses, the exhibition is made up of the congress's industry partners: manufacturers of interventional cardiology devices (stents, balloons, guidewires and microcatheters, percutaneous valves, intracoronary imaging, thrombectomy systems), laboratories and publishers of solutions for the cath lab. They take part in several ways: a stand in the exhibition area, a symposium in the auditorium or a room, or a session in the Training Village.

The Training Village was launched in 2026 and presented at the time as new: flash sessions and "technical corners" run by partners during the coffee breaks, with free registration for participants. The 2027 programme published online keeps breaks titled "Pause café, visite des stands & Training Village" (coffee break, stand visit and Training Village) on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 March.

Notable exhibitors

The website does not publish an exhibitor list in the sense of a stand plan. On 29 October 2026, the 2027 Partners page displayed the logos of industry companies including Abbott, Boston Scientific, Edwards, Medtronic, Biosensors, Cordis, JenaValve, Meril, MicroPort, Philips, Shockwave Medical, SMT, Teleflex, Terumo, B. Braun, Acist Bracco, Johnson & Johnson, Occlutech, Asahi Intecc, Canon, OrbusNeich, Recor Medical and Translumina. These are the logos shown on the 2027 edition page; no results report yet confirms their physical presence in March 2027.

The same page presents learned societies and media partners, including the Collège des Cardiologues en Formation, the Société Luxembourgeoise de Cardiologie, Cardiologie Pratique and Cathlab.

Visitor quality

The audience is that of a specialist congress: interventional cardiologists and paramedical teams from the cath lab. The 2027 committee brings together practitioners from university hospitals and clinics across France (Marseille, Nîmes, Toulouse, Rouen, Massy, Clermont-Ferrand, Brest), as well as the president and secretary of the ADCCI. The 2027 speaker list also includes speakers based in Rome, Copenhagen and Sion.

Clinical cases are submitted in French and most of the programme is written in French: this is a congress aimed first and foremost at the French-speaking community. A request for a visa invitation letter is available on the Practical information page.

For an industry company, the appeal lies in the concentration: more than 930 participants on site in 2026, gathered over three days around a programme that alternates coronary and structural techniques. This figure is the one released by the organiser for the 2026 edition; it has not been audited by a third party.

Programme & community

Conference programme

The 2027 programme is online. Its structure: a paramedical session and practical forums on Wednesday morning, the plenary opening on Wednesday at 14:00, then coronary and structural sessions, a session called "Les actus du GACI" on Friday morning and a session devoted to chronic total coronary occlusion. The congress closes on Friday 12 March with the session "Les meilleurs cas cliniques", followed by a closing lunch at 12:30.

The programme is published online; session details may change before March 2027.

Call for clinical cases

A call for clinical cases is open until midnight on Tuesday 12 January 2027, in two categories, coronary and structural, with anonymous selection. The six best cases are presented in session on Friday. The winner of the coronary category receives full coverage for EuroPCR 2027, and the winner of the structural category for PCR London Valves 2027.

Community & networks

Sessions from the 2026 edition are available as replays on the website, in a video library sorted by theme: coronary, structural and paramedical. The congress is present on LinkedIn, Instagram and X.

The Partners page also highlights other interventional cardiology events, including EuroPCR in Paris: HighTech Cardio is a separate event, more compact and French-speaking.

On site: what you need to know

The congress is held at the Palais du Pharo, the City of Marseille's congress centre, 58 boulevard Charles Livon, 13007 Marseille. The programme splits sessions between the Auditorium and several side rooms, including room 120 and room 50bis for the practical forums.

Access as indicated by the organiser: buses 82, 82S and 83, Le Pharo stop; metro line M1, Vieux-Port station; Q-Park Pharo car park, impasse Clerville.

Hours according to the published programme: Wednesday 10 March from 10:30 to 18:30, Thursday 11 March from 08:30 to 18:45, and Friday 12 March from 08:30 until the closing lunch at 12:30.

The agency Revolugo is the official accommodation partner of the 2027 edition, with a dedicated booking platform for congress attendees, accessible from the Practical information page.

How much it costs

For attendees

Rates published for 2027 on the Registration page: three-day registration at €792 incl. VAT, coffee breaks and lunches included; congress dinner at €84 incl. VAT. A registration under continuing medical education, covered by the institution's training department, is offered at €900 incl. VAT with handling fees included, until 1 March 2027. A limited number of educational grants, covering registration, two hotel nights and transport, can be requested.

For exhibitors

No stand price list or partnership packages are published. Partnership opportunities are handled directly with the Com&Co Events team, whose contact details are on the Partners page and the Contact page. At medical congresses, an industry company's participation is generally negotiated as a package (stand, symposium, visibility), within the transparency rules that apply to relations between industry and healthcare professionals.

Preparing your visit

For exhibitors

  • Contact the organiser early: the 2027 edition takes place about six weeks later in the year than the 2026 edition, which also shifts preparation deadlines.
  • Choose between a stand, a symposium and a Training Village session: these are three distinct formats, which do not reach the same audience at the same time.
  • Schedule the team's presence around the breaks that the programme explicitly dedicates to visiting the stands.
  • Plan for hosting paramedical teams, who have their own session and their own committee.

For attendees

  • Register before 1 March 2027 if the cost is covered under continuing medical education.
  • Submit a clinical case before 12 January 2027 to aim for a presentation in session.
  • Book accommodation early through the partner platform Revolugo, which offers a selection of hotels for the congress dates.

CSR policy & initiatives

The congress website has no CSR or sustainability section specific to the event, and no ISO 20121 certification is displayed.

The organiser does, however, publish a group CSR charter, which applies to the organisation of its congresses. It is built around seven pillars: reducing the carbon footprint, responsible resource management, eco-responsible catering, sustainable travel, local and responsible partnerships, transparent communication, and inclusion and well-being at work. Measures announced include priority for train travel and car-sharing, hybrid or digital formats, less paper in favour of digital materials, a large share of vegetarian dishes, orders based on estimated attendance and donations of surplus food to local associations. The charter is not accompanied by any published figures.

Com&Co Events also displays ISO 9001 certification (quality management) and its adherence to the MedTech Europe code of ethics, which governs industry funding of congresses.

Trajectory analysis

The website does not publish a detailed history of editions before 2026, nor a year-on-year comparison of results. Two developments are nonetheless visible. In 2026, the organiser added the Training Village, a hands-on training format run by industry partners during the breaks: it gives exhibitors a way into the congress's educational content, beyond the stand and the symposium. In 2027, the congress moves from late January to mid-March.

For an industry company, the positioning is best read against EuroPCR: where the large Paris congress draws an international audience, HighTech Cardio concentrates a French-speaking community of operators and paramedical staff over three days, with a programme designed for day-to-day practice.
