Hyvolution - trade show overview

Agoris analysis · updated May 2026

Key takeaways

  • Hyvolution is the only trade show in Europe to cover the entire hydrogen value chain, from producers to industrial players, including local authorities and investors, all on a single floor.
  • 41% of exhibitors at the 2025 edition were newcomers: the market is still taking shape, and first-time exhibitors are not lost in a crowd of established players.
  • The official rate for an equipped stand in the collective pavilion is €825 excl. VAT/m² (from 6 m²), plus €1,200 excl. VAT in registration fees and €400 excl. VAT per corner: public rates, a rarity in the sector.
  • 25% of 2024 visitors were senior executives and 23% were international: a decision-maker visitor base, dense with high-authority contacts.
  • 10th anniversary edition in 2026 (under the high patronage of the President of the Republic). 2025 attendance: 15,300 visitors, i.e. +3% vs 2024 (11,503), with 12 international pavilions and 65 countries represented (source: organiser's review press release).

Who exhibits

Typical profile

A 100% sector-specific trade show, with no presence outside hydrogen. The exhibitor base covers the entire value chain: major industrial groups (Air Liquide, TotalEnergies, Engie, Plastic Omnium), specialised mid-caps and SMEs, deeptech startups, local and regional authorities, research bodies and federations. The 3 target markets (mobility, industry, energy production) are evenly balanced across the 6 thematic itineraries for 2026.

Notable exhibitors

Air Liquide, TotalEnergies, Engie, Plastic Omnium, McPhy Energy, Linde, Nel Hydrogen, Symbio (Michelin/Faurecia), John Cockerill, Gaussin. 13 CAC 40 groups present in 2023.

Retention rate

59% of exhibitors are returning (the inverse of the 41% newcomers). A strong foothold for long-standing players who regard Hyvolution as their must-attend annual fixture.

Visitor quality

Exclusively professional, no general public. 25% senior executives and 23% international at the 2024 edition, with more than 10,500 participants in the conferences and workshops. A highly qualified visitor base, directly involved in the hydrogen value chain.

Activities & community

Trajectory analysis

Hyvolution is the fastest-growing of the three pilot listings, rising from 4,500 to 15,000 visitors in 3 years. This momentum is directly tied to the political and industrial acceleration of the hydrogen sector in Europe. Worth noting: the slight drop in exhibitor numbers between 2024 (572) and 2025 (550) deserves attention, possibly reflecting market consolidation or greater selectivity by the organiser. The 41% of new exhibitors offset this figure and confirm an active turnover.

Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (hyvolution-event.com).
