Key facts

  • The Journées Dermatologiques de Paris (JDP) are the annual congress of the Société Française de Dermatologie (SFD), the learned society of French dermatologists. It is a medical congress, held in person and online, with an exhibition of pharmaceutical laboratories and medical equipment companies.
  • Next edition: Tuesday 1 to Saturday 5 December 2026, at the Palais des Congrès de Paris, Porte Maillot. Tuesday is a pre-congress day (workshops and the General Practitioners Forum); the congress proper runs from Wednesday 2 to Saturday 5 December.
  • The exhibition takes place on level 2, Hall Maillot, from Wednesday 2 to Friday 4 December 2026 only: 8:30am-6:00pm on Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm on Friday.
  • Organiser: the Société Française de Dermatologie, a state-recognised public-interest association. The agency MCI group France acts under mandate from the SFD for the secretariat, registrations, accommodation and exhibition logistics; the sale of stands remains handled by the SFD.
  • Annual frequency, between late November and early December depending on the year. 2025 results: 7,275 participants, including 1,333 exhibitors, and 80 stands, 23 of them run by patient associations.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

The organiser describes the exhibition as one of pharmaceutical laboratories and medical equipment companies. The 2026 floor plan confirms this twofold profile, with a third family well represented on the list: dermocosmetics laboratories.

The 2026 list mixes pharmaceutical laboratories, manufacturers of lasers and skin imaging devices, and publishers and digital health players; it does not detail what is presented on each stand.

The exhibition shares level 2 with the area broadcasting the news sessions, plenaries and “Quoi de neuf”, the social area and the Maison de la Dermatologie, according to the plan in the 2026 preliminary programme: it is a thoroughfare between two sessions.

The 2026 floor plan and exhibitor list shows 68 names as of 10 October 2026. Pharmaceutical laboratories: AbbVie, Alexion (AstraZeneca), Almirall, Bayer, Bristol Myers Squibb, Galderma International, Incyte Biosciences France, Janssen, LEO Pharma France, Lilly France, MSD France, Novartis Pharma, Pfizer France, Sanofi-Regeneron, Sun Pharma Europe, Takeda, UCB Pharma and Viatris Santé.

The General Practitioners Forum on 1 December 2026 is organised with the support of Bioderma, LEO Pharma, Uriage and the Groupe Pierre Fabre, alongside La Revue du Praticien Médecine Générale, Global Média and the JNMG.

Visitor quality

The core audience is French-speaking dermatology: dermatologists, residents in the specialty (registered free of charge as junior members of the SFD), researchers, clinical research staff and paramedics. Two forums widen the audience: the General Practitioners Forum on Tuesday 1 December, co-organised with the Collège National des Généralistes Enseignants, and the Nurses Forum on Thursday 3 December.

In 2025, the 7,275 participants broke down into 5,468 hybrid congress delegates, 474 virtual delegates and 1,333 exhibitors. International attendance was 2,236 people, around 32% according to the organiser; the leading countries represented after France were Belgium, Morocco, Algeria, Italy and Tunisia. These figures are published by the organiser, with no third-party audit.

Activities and community

Conference programme

For 2026 the organiser announces more than 200 scientific sessions, 850 speakers and 492 posters, 21 of them for the Poster Challenge. The programme combines continuing medical education, with more than 150 CME sessions, forums and workshops (including surgery workshops), oral presentations and flagship sessions broadcast live: plenary sessions, news sessions, “Quoi de neuf”, hot topics, practice flashes and the Juniors' Top 12. Sessions are sorted into two tracks, “Les essentiels” and “Pour aller plus loin”.

Abstract submissions were numerous: 2,051 abstracts and 197 Poster Challenge proposals, plus 192 proposals for workshops, CME sessions and forums, according to the call for communications page. All presentations are given in French. The interactive programme and the preliminary programme are online.

Italy is the country of honour in 2026, with an international session by invitation on Friday 4 December from 8:00am to 9:00am, held as a breakfast.

Prizes and awards

According to the programme announced for 2026, the Poster Challenge is due to conclude on Friday 4 December with 2 prizes worth €1,000 for the two best posters. The Best of posters and oral communications sessions give rise to 4 Jury Prizes worth €1,000. The JDP Quiz is due to pit 18 teams of French and international residents against each other over two hours, in person only. The JDP Scholarships will be awarded by the president of the SFD at the close of the international session.

Community and networks

The SFD sets up on the exhibition floor with the Maison de la Dermatologie area, open from Wednesday 2 December at 9:30am to Friday 4 December at 4:00pm on level 2, Hall Maillot: memberships, the 365SFD training platform, the Annales de Dermatologie, the Chronoreco app and the SFD endowment fund, which finances research.

The Village des associations hosts patient associations. Its dedicated page lists eighteen associations for 2026, including France Psoriasis, the Association Française de l'Eczéma, the Association Française du Vitiligo, the Association Ichtyose France and the Fédération Française de la Peau.

The ADF Forum is on the programme, and members of the Association des Dermatologues Francophones (ADF) get the same registration rate as SFD members.

On site: what to know

The congress takes place at the Palais des Congrès de Paris, 2 place de la Porte Maillot, Paris 17th arrondissement. Getting there: metro line 1, Porte Maillot station (exit 3); RER C and E, Neuilly - Porte Maillot station; tram T3b; buses 43, 73, 82, 244 and PC. The organiser encourages travelling by train within France, and Air France - KLM offers preferential fares with an event code published on the general information page.

The welcome desk is open from 8:00am to 6:00pm from Tuesday to Friday, and from 8:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday 5 December. All session rooms and exhibition areas are on levels 2 and 3, served by lifts. The badge, collected with the QR code from the e-confirmation, is compulsory everywhere, and a lost or forgotten badge is not replaced.

Lunches are not included in the registration fee: a cash bar is set up on level 2, on the Neuilly side, and shops and restaurants are on level -1. For accommodation, Revolugo is the official partner agency for individual bookings; groups of ten or more people use a dedicated form on the accommodation page.

How much does it cost to exhibit?

The SFD publishes no stand or partnership price list: requests go through a contact form on the Exhibit at JDP 2026 page. All the amounts below are indicative orders of magnitude for a medical congress of this size at the Palais des Congrès de Paris. They are in no way the official rates of the JDP.
Poste de dépenseFourchette basseFourchette haute
Stand space in Hall Maillot, depending on area and location (on quotation)€4,000€40,000
Stand fit-out, furniture, electricity and signage€2,000€25,000
Team travel and accommodation in Paris (3 days of exhibition)€1,500€8,000
Symposium within the scientific programme (on quotation, optional)€10,000€50,000
INDICATIVE TOTAL, stand only (3 days, 2 to 6 people)~€7,500~€73,000
INDICATIVE TOTAL, stand and symposium~€17,500~€123,000

At a learned-society congress of this size, speaking opportunities can carry as much weight as the stand: a symposium reaches a large share of the specialists present in one go, but it is negotiated with the organiser and, for medical device manufacturers, within the MedTech regulations that apply to invitations of healthcare professionals. Rates to be requested from the SFD.

Planning your visit

For exhibitors

  • Get in touch via the form on the Exhibit at JDP 2026 page: the sale of the exhibition is handled by the SFD, logistics by MCI group France.
  • Plan the team's presence around the three exhibition days, Wednesday 2 to Friday 4 December: Tuesday (pre-congress) and Saturday morning (“Quoi de neuf”) have no exhibition.
  • Prepare video content in advance: no filmed interviews or audiovisual recording are allowed within the congress, exhibition included, other than official services approved by the SFD.
  • Check the compliance framework: for 2026, the organiser states that the MedTech accreditation application has been submitted and is being validated.
  • Read the exhibitors' charter on the Les JDP engagées page: the SFD is aiming for the LEAD label in 2026.
  • Download the exhibitor kit from the marketing kit page to announce your presence.

For decision-maker visitors

  • Register before 1 November 2026 for the reduced rate: in person, €250 for an SFD member and €580 for a non-member, then €300 and €630 from 2 November, including 10% VAT. The CME/forums option costs €120 more.
  • Choose between in person and virtual: virtual registration (€200 for members, €480 for non-members before 1 November) gives access to the live broadcast and replays for six months, but not to the JDP Quiz, which is in person only.
  • General practitioners: the Forum on 1 December costs €120; nurses: the Nurses Forum on 3 December costs €50.
  • Plan for a possible cancellation: 50% refund minus €80 incl. VAT in fees until 2 November 2026, no refund afterwards.

Sustainability policy and initiatives

The commitment is led by the SFD itself and is quantified. The learned society has measured the carbon footprint of the JDP since 2024: the 2025 edition came to 1,063 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent, down 43% on 2024, according to the Les JDP engagées page. For 2026, the stated goal is the LEAD label (Label Événement à Ambition Durable), presented by the organiser as an independent label built on three ambitions: zero waste, low carbon and positive social impact. This is an ongoing effort, not a label already obtained.

Three charters frame the approach: one for participants, one for exhibitors and one for service providers. The final programme changes form as part of this effort: a full digital version, a lighter paper version available on a self-service basis, and participants state at registration whether they want a paper copy.

The “Écologiques et solidaires” page of the website details other measures: bags woven in France by Tissages de Charlieu from recycled fibres, certified caterers, a printer certified Imprim'Vert, cloakrooms run for the benefit of UNICEF, and ISO 20121-certified service providers, including the agency MCI group France. The same text presents the Palais des Congrès de Paris as ISO 20121 certified. No ISO 20121 certification specific to the congress is displayed.

Trajectory analysis

The JDP came through the health crisis by changing format rather than stopping. The 2019 edition, the last fully in person, brought together 4,569 delegates and more than 1,300 exhibitors, with 85 stands on 2,201.5 m² net. In 2020 the congress went virtual: 3,846 participants and 52 virtual exhibitors. Since 2021 the format has been hybrid: 5,500 participants that year, then growth every year up to 7,602 participants in 2024, before a slight dip to 7,275 in 2025.

The number of stands fluctuates more: 74 in 2021, 91 in 2022, then 67, 68 and 80, a significant share of them run by patient associations (19 in 2022 and 2023, 27 in 2024, 23 in 2025). For 2026, the organiser announces more than 65 exhibitors and more than 25 symposiums; the plan showed 68 on 10 October, not counting patient associations, which appear on the Village des associations page; in 2025, 57 of the 80 stands were not associations.

For an industry player, the constant is the calendar: the congress is held every year between late November and the first week of December, at the Palais des Congrès de Paris for the 2023 to 2026 editions. The SFD has already announced the 2027 edition, from 30 November to 4 December 2027, at the Palais des congrès de Paris.
