Key takeaways

  • MedInTechs is a Paris trade show devoted to healthcare innovation: startups, manufacturers, laboratories, hospitals, universities, institutions and regions present their solutions over two days, alongside conferences, workshops and themed villages.
  • Next edition: Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 March 2027, at the Parc Floral de Paris, announced in the organiser's press release of 6 October 2026.
  • Organiser: JJM EXPO, a Paris-based SAS set up in 2021 by Muriel Benitah, chair, Jean Melki, managing director, Dr Julien Schemoul and Lucas Thiery. No co-organiser.
  • Annual frequency, held every March since the first edition in 2022.
  • Reported results for the 2026 edition (9 and 10 March): more than 12,000 visitors, 300 partners and 40 conferences and workshops. The official directory for that edition lists 228 exhibitor and partner profiles.
  • The audience is mixed: alongside healthcare professionals and decision-makers, the show invites the engaged general public. Visitor access is free on registration.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

The official website presents the show as a showcase of the French healthcare ecosystem: startups, manufacturers, hospitals, laboratories, universities, schools and innovative regions. Its FAQ details the expected participants: public health institutions, hospitals and university hospitals, pharmaceutical laboratories, large industrial groups, health insurers and mutual insurers, medtech and e-health companies, local authorities, patient associations, researchers and higher education institutions.

The themes highlighted cover e-health, artificial intelligence, medical robotics and connected diagnostics. In 2026, the exhibition was split between numbered stands and five villages: surgical and interventional innovations, healthcare professions, innovations in oncology, experimentation living labs, women's health.

For a company, the exhibiting options are not covered by a dedicated page: the site directs prospective exhibitors to its information request form, presented as the Become a Partner form for the 2027 edition.

Notable exhibitors

The 2026 partner directory lists the organisations present at the latest edition, with their role. It includes AP-HP, workshop and exhibitor in the experimentation living labs village, Allianz, conference and exhibitor, Aix Marseille Université, Adecco Medical and Biogen, the latter as a partner. The 2027 list has not been published yet.

One 2027 exhibitor is already known: Eclipse Neurotech, which develops a brain-machine interface, won the Jury Grand Prize at the Summer Challenge and will therefore have a stand at MedInTechs 2027, according to the 6 October 2026 press release.

Visitor quality

The organiser highlights a broad ecosystem: healthcare professionals, institutions, researchers, manufacturers, technology companies, public bodies, investors, patient associations, carers and citizens. This last point sets MedInTechs apart from the purely professional trade shows in the sector: the results for the 2022 and 2023 editions refer to general public and healthcare professional visitors, with no figures for the split.

Attendance figures are those published by the organiser after each edition. No OJS certification or third-party audit is published.

For a B2B exhibitor, the value lies more in the calibre of the speakers and the committee than in raw volume. The show is held under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic, for the sixth consecutive edition in 2027 according to the organiser's press release.

Activities & community

Conference programme

The 2026 programme was split between a conference room and a workshop room, over two full days. Topics covered included agentic AI in medicine, chronic diseases and prevention, health data, oncology, rare diseases, medication non-adherence, women's health and digital sovereignty in healthcare. Valérie Pécresse, president of the Île-de-France Region, spoke on 9 March 2026.

For 2027, the press release announces a programme built on bringing different viewpoints face to face around the rise in chronic diseases and cancers, prevention, artificial intelligence, changing care pathways and adapting to an ageing population. The detail of the sessions has not been published yet.

The content is overseen by a 2027 scientific and strategic committee chaired by Dr Julien Schemoul, which validates speakers and themes.

Villages and new for 2027

The 6 October 2026 press release announces a new area, "Autonomie &Bien vieillir", devoted to preventing loss of independence, home care and the role of carers. Women's health will keep a dedicated village supported by the Île-de-France Region, as in 2026, when 16 startups selected through a call for projects were showcased there.

The MedInTechs Society scientific congress, launched in 2026, will hold its second edition in 2027: it aims to bring research, scientific evidence and clinical practice closer together.

Awards

Each year, awards honour individuals and startups at a ceremony held during the show. In 2026, the ceremony took place on the evening of Monday 9 March at the Parc Floral, with 11 awards presented.

Community & networks

The show continues all year round through the HealthConnect by MedInTechs network, which reports more than 1,700 expert members, afterworks, member-only live sessions and a WhatsApp channel. The organiser says the HealthConnect Afterwork on 15 September 2026 brought together more than 200 healthcare professionals.

On the media side, the official press review notably lists coverage on BFMTV, France Inter, TF1 and Les Echos.

On site: what you need to know

The show takes place at the Parc Floral de Paris, which has already hosted the 2022, 2023 and 2026 editions. Access and transport are detailed on the venue page.

Opening hours for the 2027 edition have not been published yet. Visitor registration is open on the 2027 registration form: access is free and includes an entry badge. Visitors registered in 2026 can log in to retrieve their pre-filled details.

How much does it cost to exhibit

JJM EXPO does not publish any exhibition price list online: stand and partnership terms are provided on request via the website form. The amounts below are indicative orders of magnitude for a two-day Paris trade show in the healthcare innovation sector. They are in no way MedInTechs' official rates.
Poste de dépenseFourchette basseFourchette haute
Stand or space in a village, depending on package (on quotation)€3,000€15,000
Fit-out, furniture, electricity and signage€1,000€8,000
On-site team, travel and catering (2 days)€800€4,000
Communication materials and client invitations€500€3,000
INDICATIVE TOTAL (2 days)~€5,300~€30,000

For a startup, the themed villages and schemes run by partners, such as regional calls for projects, can be a cheaper way in than a stand of its own. To be checked with the organiser.

Practical tips

  • Aim for the right village: villages concentrate visitors already interested in a specific theme, which makes for more qualified meetings.
  • Prepare meetings with hospital and institutional buyers before the show: as the audience is mixed, a stand without pre-booked meetings risks attracting mostly general public traffic.
  • Follow the publication of the 2027 programme to spot the sessions where the decision-makers in your target speak.
  • Comply with the sector's ethical rules: the general terms of sale remind exhibitors that they must comply with the Public Health Code and with transparency on conflicts of interest.

CSR policy & initiatives

Neither the show's website nor its organiser publishes a formal CSR policy, carbon footprint or ISO 20121 certification: the site has no Commitments or Sustainability section, and JJM EXPO, a small company, does not publish a group programme.

The mission stated by MedInTechs concerns the healthcare system itself: making it more efficient, fairer and more accountable, and producing recommendations for public authorities. This is an editorial direction of the show, not an environmental commitment of the event.

Trajectory analysis

In four years, the show has grown from 120 exhibitors and 8,000 visitors at its first edition in 2022 to 200 exhibitors in 2023, then 300 partners reported in 2025 and 2026. Attendance has levelled off at around 12,000 visitors since 2024. The change in unit, from exhibitors to partners, makes the comparison imperfect: the latter groups exhibitors, speakers and supporters together.

The successive additions point to a platform strategy rather than a simple trade show: the HealthConnect network run all year round, the MedInTechs Society scientific congress from 2026, and a new area devoted to independence and healthy ageing in 2027. For an exhibitor, the appeal is joining an ecosystem that works between editions, and not just renting a stand for two days.
