Key takeaways
- Minalogic Business Meetings is not a stand-based trade show but a business convention: a day of prescheduled B2B meetings between buyers, providers of digital technologies and services, start-ups and investors. Each participant can line up up to 15 meetings during the day.
- Scope: digital technologies, from micro- and nanoelectronics to software, including optics-photonics, IoT, quantum, robotics, AI, cybersecurity and decarbonisation.
- Next edition: the 13th, on Thursday 11 March 2027 at Alpexpo, in Grenoble, in hybrid format with the option to take part online.
- Organiser: Minalogic Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the competitiveness cluster for digital technologies. The event is operated by Proximum SAS, publisher of the Vimeet meeting-booking platform.
- Annual frequency. Founded in 2014, the event has held twelve editions before the 2027 one, including two entirely online and five in hybrid format.
- Report from the 2026 edition, held on 17 March at Alpexpo: 440 participants, including 406 on site and 34 online, and 1,247 business meetings held.
Who takes part
Typical profile
The event rests on two groups that meet each other. On one side, buyers, large groups and manufacturers, who arrive with a specific technology need; their participation is free, subject to approval by the organiser, as is that of investors. On the other, providers of digital technologies and services, often SMEs and start-ups, who pay for a package to access the meetings.
The website details the fields covered on the supply side: semiconductors, circuit design and fabless companies, packaging and testing, business and embedded software, cloud and high-performance computing, imaging and lasers, connected devices, quantum computing and sensors, generative and frugal AI, embedded-systems security. The target markets are just as broad: defence, newspace, cultural and creative industries, health, industry of the future, mobility, food processing, chemicals and environment, textiles, energy and construction.
In 2026, the 335 registered organisations broke down as follows: 94 buyers, 138 technology providers, 44 service providers and 16 banks or investors.
Notable participants
The official "Who takes part" page displays the logos of some of the buyers present in 2026, including Alstom, Orange, Schneider Electric, Saint-Gobain, SNCF, Sony, IBM, JCDecaux, Bonduelle, Bouygues, Becton Dickinson, Swatch Group and the European Space Agency. The full list of 2026 participants remains available on the event's platform. The 2027 list will build up as registrations come in on the 2027 registration platform.
Quality of the meetings
This is the format's central selling point: no meeting takes place without both parties' agreement. In 2026, out of 6,577 meeting requests made on the platform, 1,790 were accepted and 1,247 held. The ratio tells the story: buyers filter, and a technology provider has to win them over with their online profile before getting a slot.
The organiser states that 99% of 2026 participants were satisfied or very satisfied with the organisation. No third-party audit of attendance is published: the figures are those communicated by Minalogic.
Format & community
How the meetings work
The process largely plays out before the day itself, on the Vimeet platform:
- registration and creation of a profile, whose quality determines the relevance of the meetings;
- browsing the list of participants and sending meeting requests;
- accepting or declining requests received;
- receiving the schedule five days before the event, containing only meetings approved by both parties;
- on the day, meetings on site or by video call, plus networking time.
In 2026, four formats coexisted on the provider side: the rotating table, where you change table at each meeting, the fixed table with a pull-up banner, the 4 sqm stand, and remote participation.
Community & networks
The event draws on the network of Minalogic, a competitiveness cluster founded in 2005, based in Grenoble, Lyon, Saint-Étienne and Valence, with more than 450 members including over 380 companies. Cluster members benefit from preferential rates.
The event is supported by the Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and Grenoble Alpes Métropole is among its funders. Listed partners include French Tech Alpes and Mina Start.
The international dimension is real: 2025 participants came notably from the United States, Canada, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland, and Minalogic places the event within the European cooperation of the Silicon Europe Alliance.
On site: what you need to know
The 2027 edition is held at Alpexpo, 2 avenue d'Innsbruck in Grenoble, which had already hosted the 2026 edition. For access, parking and accommodation, see the venue listing. Point of caution: at the time of writing, the official website's practical information page still described access to the Groupama Stadium in Lyon, the venue for the 2025 edition. It does not match the 2027 venue.
The event runs over a single day. In 2026, it ran from 8.30am to 6pm; the 2027 timings were not published at the time of writing. Participants who do not travel can follow their meetings by video call.
How much it costs to take part
Participation is free for buyers and investors, subject to approval. For providers, the price list online at the time of writing was that of the 2026 edition, with a member rate and a non-member rate, and discounts for early registration, until 21 December 2025 and then until 1 February 2026. Each package listed three amounts:
- Rotating-table B2B package: from €325 to €450 excl. VAT for a member, from €625 to €800 excl. VAT otherwise.
- Fixed-table B2B package with pull-up banner: from €650 to €780 excl. VAT for a member, from €950 to €1,200 excl. VAT otherwise.
- Premium B2B package with a fitted 4 sqm stand: from €995 to €1,270 excl. VAT for a member, from €1,500 to €1,900 excl. VAT otherwise.
On-site packages include access to the online catalogue, lunch and the coffee break. Virtual packages also exist for remote meetings. The 2027 price list was not published at the time of writing: the amounts above are those for 2026 and may change.
For companies wanting more visibility, the 2027 sponsorship brochure offers two packages: Platinium at €5,000 excl. VAT and Silver at €2,000 excl. VAT.
Preparing your visit
For the technology provider
- Register early: 2026 rates were tiered by registration date, and the earlier a profile is online, the more slots remain available with buyers.
- Polish your platform profile: it is what buyers read before accepting or declining a request.
- Prepare a short, solution-oriented pitch, tailored to each contact.
- Choose your package based on your goal: the rotating table is enough to line up meetings, the stand is worth it for a product demonstration.
- Use the breaks: informal networking complements the scheduled meetings.
For the buyer
- Set out a precise need in your profile: this is what attracts relevant offers.
- Sort through requests received: the schedule only keeps meetings accepted by both parties.
- Use the remote option for colleagues who cannot travel to Grenoble.
CSR policy & initiatives
Neither the event website nor Minalogic publishes a CSR policy specific to Minalogic Business Meetings, a carbon footprint report, or an ISO 20121 certification for the event. Decarbonisation is one of the edition's themes, and Minalogic offers its members a dedicated pathway on environmental transition: this is content and a service from the cluster, to be distinguished from a commitment on the footprint of the event itself.
The hybrid format does limit some travel, however: in 2026, 34 participants followed their meetings online.
On the venue side, Alpexpo displays a structured CSR approach since taking part in the Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat in 2022, and has committed to an ISO 20121 certification process with a target date of September 2026. Its published areas of focus cover reducing emissions, waste and consumption, accessibility for all audiences, and the use of local suppliers.

Trajectory analysis
Long held in Grenoble, the event then took to the road for a tour of the region's stadiums: Stade des Alpes in Grenoble, Groupama Stadium in Lyon, Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in Saint-Étienne for the tenth edition in 2024, then back to Groupama Stadium in 2025. The 2026 edition marked a return to Grenoble, this time in an exhibition centre, and the 2027 edition confirms Alpexpo.
Volumes are stable year on year, at around 400 to 460 participants. The mix, however, is shifting: 162 online participants in 2024, 100 in 2025, 34 in 2026. In-person attendance has clearly regained the upper hand, consistent with the choice of an exhibition venue and a stand format.
The reports do not measure meetings the same way from one year to the next: scheduled meetings in 2025, held meetings in 2026. The two series therefore do not compare term for term. Since its creation, the organiser has reported more than 3,000 participants and more than 10,000 B2B meetings.
