Key takeaways
- Paris Perfume Week is the creative perfumery trade show organised in Paris by Nez, the olfactory cultural movement (magazine, publishing, podcasts). Its distinctive feature is a mixed audience: 56% general public and 44% professionals in 2026. A brand meets buyers and sells direct during the same event.
- Next edition: from Thursday 15 to Saturday 17 April 2027, at the Palais Brongniart, 16 place de la Bourse, Paris 2nd arrondissement. A professional preview is announced for Wednesday 14 April from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and an off-site programme (hors-les-murs) from Monday 12 to Sunday 18 April.
- For an exhibitor, the 2027 window is closed: the Exhibitors page states that applications are closed and points to the Grasse Perfume Week, on 17 to 19 June 2027, whose applications are due to open shortly.
- Organiser: Nez Events, a Paris-based SAS that publishes the official website and runs Nez's events. No co-organiser listed.
- Annual frequency. Created in 2024, the trade show has held three editions: 2024 and 2025 at the Bastille Design Center, and 2026 at the Palais Brongniart for the first time.
- Results of the 2026 edition, organiser's figures: 11,780 visitors, 22% of them international, 180 exhibitors and partners, 920 retailers and buyers, 50 conferences, 5 exhibitions and nearly 80 off-site events.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The core of the trade show is creative perfumery: independent and niche brands, French and international, joined by more established houses, fragrance houses and raw-material producers. The 2026 programme spread the brands across the Nef, Réaumur, Notre-Dame-des-Victoires and the walkways, with two identified groupings: The Colors, devoted to multicultural perfumery, and a China Village.
The industry players have had their own space since 2026: Behind the Scent, presented as the first forum dedicated to careers and training in the world of perfume, supported by L'Oréal Groupe. Around twenty players exhibited there, including fragrance houses, schools, manufacturers and designers. For a supplier of bottles, ingredients or traceability, it is the most readable entry point into the show.
For 2027, Nez announces nearly 200 brands, fragrance houses, institutions, schools and industry players. This is a commercial announcement, not a results report.
Notable exhibitors
Only the 2026 list is published so far: the 2027 exhibitors have not been announced, and the Exhibitors page still shows the previous edition.
Brands present in 2026: Amouage, Infiniment Coty, Chloé, Jil Sander, Parfum d'Empire, Fueguia 1833, Goldfield & Banks, Naomi Goodsir Parfums, Hiram Green, Thomas de Monaco, Bon Parfumeur, Essential Parfums and D'Orsay. The Colors brought together Harlem Perfume Co., House of Iyrah and Scent of Africa, among others, and the China Village houses such as Chujian, Santimento and Zhufu.
Industry in 2026: Robertet, Symrise, Cosmo International Fragrances, Luzi, DSM-Firmenich and the Village des naturels (natural ingredients village) by LMR Naturals. On the Behind the Scent side: Verescence, Cinquième Sens, ISIPCA, Istituto Marangoni, Grasse Expertise, IFEAT, Sorga and Business France.
Visitor quality
The share of professionals varies sharply by day. In 2026 it reached 58% on Thursday, 45% on Friday and 28% on Saturday. Thursday is therefore the buyer's day, Saturday the day for sales to the public.
The organiser counts 920 retailers and buyers in 2026, including Skins, 50ml, Galilu, Crème de la Crème, Jovoy, Campo Marzio and Heinemann, as well as 110 accredited journalists and 17 international media outlets. No third-party audit of these figures is mentioned.
For 2027, Nez announces a scheme called "Business First": a preview on 14 April reserved for exhibitors, retailers, buyers, international distributors and a limited number of media and content creators, an Early Access slot from 9:00am to 11:00am on each of the three days, targeted invitations to buyers and a Business Lounge for meetings. These elements remain to be confirmed by the results of the edition.
Programme & community
Conference programme
The 2027 programme has not been published. Nez announces three stages: Smell Talks for olfactory culture, Behind the Scent for careers and know-how, and Brand Talks for brands to speak.
In 2026, for reference, 50 conferences were scheduled, including masterclasses by Olivier Cresp and Hiram Green. The professional strand covered careers in sustainable development in perfumery, with Verescence and DSM-Firmenich, and regulation, with the IFRA. The entry ticket gave access to the Smell Talks, Behind the Scent, the exhibitions and the book signings.
Exhibitions and off-site programme
The 2026 edition offered 5 exhibitions, including The Omani Rock Rose by Amouage, Scent of Italy by DSM-Firmenich and L'Empreinte des maîtres by Nez and L'Osmothèque. The 2027 exhibitions have not been announced.
The off-site programme brought together nearly 80 events across Paris in 2026, and the Paris Perfume Night on Friday 10 April mobilised 20 boutiques on the rue Saint-Honoré. For 2027, the website announces at least thirty or so venues from 12 to 18 April and a form to propose a venue, an avenue for a brand that has a boutique in Paris. The 2027 commercial presentation cites the Paris Perfume Night as the highlight of this programme, with no date given at this stage.
Community & networks
The trade show draws on the audience of Nez, whose magazine has existed since 2016, and on the Instagram account @perfumeweek, which shows 19,900 followers in the 2027 commercial presentation.
On the press side, the organiser lists 65 media mentions for 2026, including Le Monde, Télérama, Les Échos Week-End and Libération.
On site: what you need to know
The Palais Brongniart is served by metro line 3 at Bourse and by lines 8 and 9 at Grands Boulevards. For the rest of the logistics, see the venue page.
The 2027 plan spreads over three levels: Behind the Scent on the garden level; the Galerie, the Nef, Notre-Dame-des-Victoires, Réaumur and the Nez bookshop on the ground floor; the Smell Talks and Brand Talks stages on level 1, alongside corners and stands. The 2026 plan in the programme showed only the ground floor and level 1, where Behind the Scent was then located.
The 2027 public opening hours have not been published. As Early Access from 9:00am to 11:00am is presented as taking place two hours before opening to the general public, the latter would be at 11:00am. In 2026, for reference, the show was open from 11:00am to 6:30pm on Thursday, and from 10:00am to 6:30pm on Friday and Saturday.
Ticketing for 2027 opens on 15 January 2027 and prices have not yet been announced. In 2026, the three-day pass cost €90, the day pass €35, the reduced rate €25 for students and under-18s, and the children's pass €10 for ages 6 to 14, on Saturday only.
How much it costs to exhibit

| Réaumur stand, 9 m², without or with corner position | €6,600 excl. VAT | €7,100 excl. VAT |
| Nef stand, 6 m², without or with corner position | €7,200 excl. VAT | €7,800 excl. VAT |
| Official programme (10,000 copies): Brand Focus €450, advertising page €2,200 | €450 excl. VAT | €2,200 excl. VAT |
| Speaking opportunities: "3 questions à…" €1,200, 30-minute Brand Talks €1,600 | €1,200 excl. VAT | €1,600 excl. VAT |
| Official tote bag: one of the four designs, 2,500 copies | €5,000 excl. VAT | €5,000 excl. VAT |
The corner includes a fitted space with a counter and high chair, signage, 2 exhibitor badges and 4 three-day invitations. The stand includes wooden partitions, a fitted counter, a high table and 2 high chairs, a 3 m back wall with the visual supplied by the brand, 4 exhibitor badges and 8 three-day invitations. Both packages include access to the 14 April preview, Wi-Fi and the storage area.
Location weighs heavily on the price: with comparable fit-out, the square metre works out at around €730 excl. VAT at Réaumur and €1,200 excl. VAT in the Nef. The corner remains the most accessible entry point, but it gives half as many badges and invitations as the stand.
Preparing your visit
For exhibitors
- Applications for 2027 are closed at the time of writing. No waiting list is mentioned: for any request, go through the Contacts page, which names the sales team.
- For a later edition, watch the website from the summer: the 2027 commercial document went online in July 2026, and applications were already closed by the end of October.
- Plan for two postures on the stand: sales staff able to deal with buyers early in the show, and stock and a means of taking payment for Saturday. Nez presents direct sales as one of the benefits of taking part.
- Announce launches for the preview and Early Access, the announced slots for presenting new products to buyers, media and content creators.
For decision-making visitors
- Accreditations are reserved for professionals in perfume retail and distribution, the media and content creators with a regular editorial activity. The forms are announced on the Contacts page but are not yet online.
- The preview on Wednesday 14 April, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, is announced as reserved for exhibitors, retailers, buyers, international distributors and a limited number of selected media and content creators. Nez also announces targeted invitations to buyers, in France and internationally. International buyer relations go through pro@bynez.com.
- Aim for Thursday for working discussions: in 2026 it was the most professional day, before a Saturday largely geared towards the general public.
CSR policy & initiatives
Neither the event's website nor the 2027 commercial presentation details a CSR commitment specific to the trade show, and no ISO 20121 certification of the event appears there.
The venue falls under a verifiable programme: the Palais Brongniart is among the sites of the GL events group, whose CSR page states that ISO 20121 certification covers all of its event sites in France.
The 2026 round table on careers in sustainable development in perfumery belongs to the conference programme, not to a commitment by the organiser.

Trajectory analysis
For two editions, Paris Perfume Week remained a community event: 700 m² at the Bastille Design Center, around fifty brands, a few thousand visitors. The move to the Palais Brongniart in 2026 changed its scale, with nearly three times as many visitors (4,000 in 2025, 11,780 in 2026) and a wider exhibitor scope (60 exhibitors in 2025, 180 exhibitors and partners in 2026), in a venue that advertises 4,000 m² of exhibition space. At the same time the show went from four days to three and from March to April.
The most interesting signal for an exhibitor concerns buyers: 25 visiting boutiques and retailers in 2024, 70 retailers in 2025, 920 retailers and buyers in 2026. The wording differs from one year to the next, so the comparison remains indicative. The general public share, for its part, has barely moved: 60% in 2024, 56% in 2026.
The 2027 edition confirms the direction taken. The scheme aimed at buyers is expanding, without calling into question the opening to the paying public that underpins the show's model. Space remains a point to watch: the event's own website relayed a brand founder's post describing a show that was "sometimes cramped", and the 2027 plan adds a level.
The series has also expanded: Nez launched the Grasse Perfume Week in 2025 and programmed the Asia Perfume Show, with Notes Shanghai, at the Bastille Design Center from 23 to 25 September 2026, with the 23rd as a professional day.
The dates of the 2028 edition had not been announced at the time of writing.
