Preventica Paris - trade show overview

Agoris analysis · updated October 2026

Key takeaways

  • Préventica is the benchmark congress and trade show for occupational health, safety and quality of working life. A travelling brand created in 1997 in Bordeaux by Éric Dejean-Servières, it is organised by Communica Organisation (Lormont, Gironde) and is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Labour, Health and Solidarity and the Ministry of Public Action, the Civil Service and Simplification (sources: preventica.com/qui-sommes-nous, echos-judiciaires.com).
  • The brand organises two congresses and trade shows per year in different cities. The most recent Paris edition was held from 10 to 12 June 2025 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. No Paris edition is scheduled for 2026: the next French stops are Rennes (16 to 18 June 2026) and Préventica Lyon (6 to 8 October 2026). The next Paris edition has not yet been announced.
  • The 2025 Paris edition was announced with 600 exhibitors, 180 conferences and workshops, 750 experts and 15,000 attendees expected (source: preventica.com/salon/paris-2025).
  • Paris entered the rotation in 2017 (first Paris edition, 20 to 22 June 2017) and then hosted the trade show in 2019, 2021, 2023 and 2025: a biennial rhythm in odd-numbered years, with the 2021 edition having been pushed back to late November by the health crisis but still kept in an odd-numbered year (sources: cramif.fr, gpomag.fr).
  • Préventica Innovation Award: 20 winners recognised in Paris in 2025, across two categories.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

Eight exhibition sectors structure the offering: workspace design, hygiene and cleaning, road safety and eco-mobility, site safety and first aid, HR management and quality of working life, consultancy and training, production and worksite safety, and personal protective equipment (source: preventica.com/salon/paris-2025/exposants).

Notable exhibitors

The full list of 2025 exhibitors is available on the official website: preventica.com/salon/paris-2025/exposants. These included AFNOR, Abbott, the Agefiph and 360SkillVue, the 2025 winner of the Innovation Award for its solution detecting and preventing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and psychosocial risks (PSRs) (sources: preventica.com, faceaurisque.com).

Quality of the visitor base

  • More than 15,000 decision-makers expected at the 2025 Paris edition (source: bati.zepros.fr)
  • Professional visitor base: company directors, HR directors, HSE/QHSE managers, prevention officers, occupational health services, and public and private buyers
  • Three mid-week days (Tuesday to Thursday), a congress-and-trade-show format that draws attendees as much for the conferences as for the exhibition

Activities & community

Conference programme

180 conferences and workshops delivered by 750 experts featured in the 2025 Paris edition programme, around some twenty major issues: mental health, prevention of MSDs and occupational wear and tear, social dialogue, the digitalisation of prevention, the impact of climate disruption on work, the transformation of occupational medicine, and the health of company directors (source: preventica.com/salon/paris-2025).

Awards and recognition

Préventica Innovation Award: 20 winners recognised in Paris in 2025, split across two categories: "Support and services for prevention policies and the management of quality of working life" (7 winners, including Companioncare, GAE Conseil and Reverto) and "Equipment and technologies for comfort and safety at work" (13 winners). The awards are presented on the first day of the trade show (sources: preventica.com/salon/paris-2025/actualites, faceaurisque.com).

Préventica runs a year-round online platform (magazine, webinars, supplier directory, podcasts) used by a community of 100,000 users each year (source: preventica.com/qui-sommes-nous).

The congress and trade show is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Labour, Health and Solidarity and the Ministry of Public Action, the Civil Service and Simplification.

Preparing your visit

For the exhibitor

  • As soon as the cities and dates are announced: submit a participation request via the official form, as stands are reserved early for the Paris editions.
  • Ahead of the trade show: apply for the Innovation Award, presented on the first day and relayed by the specialist prevention and safety press.
  • Note: the brand organises two events per year in different cities; with no Paris edition announced, Préventica Lyon (6 to 8 October 2026) is the next major stop for reaching a national visitor base.

For the decision-making visitor

  • Free online pre-registration on the official website to obtain your personalised badge.
  • Target the conferences in advance: the programme (180 sessions at the most recent Paris edition) is published several weeks before opening.
  • Plan your exhibition route around the eight sectors: PPE, worksite safety, and quality of working life and HR management are not in the same aisles.

Policy & CSR initiatives

CSR and ecological transformation are among the trade show's programming pillars: a "CSR Policy" information space, conferences dedicated to companies' CSR approaches and to the impact of climate on working conditions (source: preventica.com). The organiser does not, to date, publish a page setting out the eco-responsible commitments specific to the production of the event itself.

Trajectory analysis

Created in 1997 in Bordeaux under the name "Qualité des lieux de travail" at the request of the Carsat, Préventica built its model on the road: two congresses and trade shows a year touring France's major cities, complemented by an international edition in Casablanca. Paris entered the rotation in 2017 and has returned every odd-numbered year since: 2019, 2021 (an edition pushed back to late November by the health crisis), 2023 and 2025. The Paris edition has established itself as the brand's densest format: from 400 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors expected in 2019 to 600 exhibitors and 15,000 attendees expected in 2025, following the scaled-back 2021 edition (around 380 exhibitors). With Rennes and Lyon on the 2026 calendar, the Paris return will happen in 2027 at the earliest, with no official announcement to date.

Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (preventica.com).
