Key takeaways

  • The Salon de Podologie AFDP is an annual professional event devoted to podiatry, which its website presents as « Le grand RDV des podologues » (the podiatrists' main meeting): manufacturers and distributors of podiatric equipment present their products and services to podiatrists, alongside a conference programme.
  • Next edition: Friday 19 and Saturday 20 March 2027, at the Parc Floral de Paris, Pyramide entrance. Opening hours are 9.30am to 6pm on Friday and 9.30am to 5pm on Saturday.
  • Organiser: the AFDP, Association des Fabricants et Distributeurs en Podologie, founded on 19 March 1997. Operational organisation is handled by GRAINES DE COM, which publishes the show's website.
  • Annual frequency, held in March at the Parc Floral de Paris since at least 2022. The official website's travel page refers to the upcoming edition as the 29th Salon de Podologie AFDP.
  • Size as stated by the organiser, with no reference edition: 7,000 m² of exhibition space, around sixty exhibitors and more than 3,000 professional visitors.
  • Stand bookings for 2027 are under way: the list of registered exhibitors is published and updated regularly.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

The AFDP brings together manufacturers and distributors of podiatric equipment, and the show reflects that base: practice equipment and instruments, sterilisation and hygiene, insoles and plantar orthotics, 3D design and printing, postural analysis, foot-care laboratories, software publishers and services for practices.

The show is aimed at podiatrists, whom the organiser describes as professional visitors. For an exhibitor, the appeal is meeting practising clinicians directly.

Notable exhibitors

The 2027 exhibitor list is still being built. On 29 October 2026 it included ABASEO, ACTION PODO, CAPRON PODOLOGIE, DOCTOLIB, ELSEVIER MASSON, KOMET FRANCE, LABORATOIRES ANIOS, LABORATOIRES ASEPTA, Laboratoires Innothera, MELAG, PODERM PROFESSIONAL, PODOFRANCE, QWADRA and SALEMBIER, among about thirty names.

Visitor quality

The show presents itself as a place for meetings, information and exchange devoted to the podiatry sector, and states more than 3,000 professional visitors, without saying which edition this refers to. No OJS certification or third-party audit of attendance is published.

Among its stated objectives, the AFDP lists organising an annual professional reference show, open to all. The website does not publish visitor registration terms or an entry fee: check with the organiser before attending.

Activities & community

Conference programme

The 2027 conference programme will be published online in December, according to the official website. The 2026 edition, on 20 and 21 March, gives an idea of its scale: around thirty half-hour sessions spread over the two days, from 9.30am to the late afternoon.

Topics mix clinical practice and practice management: nail fungal infections, diabetic foot, plantar warts, neurological gaits, ultrasound in the practice, sterilisation traceability and cost, the move to 3D design of insoles, dynamometry and force platforms for the foot-ankle complex. Speakers are podiatrists and representatives of companies in the sector, such as Laboratoires ASEPTA, ACTION PODO, PODERM PROFESSIONAL or ELOI PODIAFRANCE.

Community & networks

The AFDP's stated objectives are to promote products specific to podiatry, to build relations with professional unions and to maintain a dialogue with all players in the discipline. According to the official website in October 2026, its president is Pierre Garmrouguian, of the company ELOI PODIAFRANCE.

The show is active on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, and sends out a newsletter.

On site: what you need to know

The show takes place at the Parc Floral de Paris, in the Bois de Vincennes, with a welcome at the Pyramide entrance, route de la Pyramide, 75012 Paris.

By metro, take line 1 to Château de Vincennes, exit no. 2 "Château": free shuttles leave from the corner of avenue de Paris and cours des Maréchaux, 40 m from the exit, from 9.15am to 7pm on Friday and from 9.15am to 6pm on Saturday, and drop visitors in front of the Pyramide entrance. RER line A serves Vincennes station, and bus 112 stops at Château de Vincennes Stade Léo Lagrange. By car, the park is five minutes from the Paris ring road (Porte Dorée, Porte de Vincennes or Porte de Charenton) and from the A4 motorway, Joinville exit, with a paid car park of 500 spaces around the entrance.

On site: hot and cold catering, free cloakroom, cash machine, free wifi, and a children's workshop for ages 3 and over, with no pre-registration, near the entrance. The website has a travel page with an Air France-KLM discount offer for participants, whose code has not yet been published, and a list of nearby hotels, dated from the 2025 edition at the time of writing.

How much does it cost to exhibit

The organiser does not publish any price list online: applications go through the website's Exhibitor Area and terms are provided by GRAINES DE COM. The amounts below are indicative orders of magnitude for a professional show of this size in Paris. They are in no way the official rates of the Salon de Podologie AFDP.
Poste de dépenseFourchette basseFourchette haute
Stand and fit-out: furniture, electricity, signage (indicative)€2,500€9,000
Transport of demonstration equipment and installation€300€2,000
On-site staff, accommodation and catering (2 days)€800€3,000
Communication, client invitations and materials€300€2,000
INDICATIVE TOTAL (2 days)~€3,900~€16,000

At a two-day show aimed at practitioners, the main lever is not floor area but demonstration: equipment that works on the stand and a slot in the conference programme count for more than a large stand. Rates to be requested from the organiser.

Practical tips

For exhibitors

  • Apply early via the Exhibitor Area: applications are reviewed according to the space remaining.
  • Aim for a conference slot: the 2027 programme comes out in December, and on the 2026 model, most sessions are given by representatives of companies in the sector.
  • Plan concrete demonstrations on the stand: the audience is made up of podiatrists, who come to discover innovations, products and services.

For decision-maker visitors

  • Check the exhibitor list before coming to target the comparisons useful for your practice.
  • Plan your visit around the conference programme, published in December.
  • Use the free shuttles from Château de Vincennes metro, which are simpler than parking in the woods.

CSR policy & initiatives

Neither the show's website nor the AFDP publishes a CSR policy, carbon footprint or ISO 20121 certification: the website menu has no Commitments or Sustainability section. No environmental initiative specific to the venue is highlighted by the organiser.

The only element on the website that touches on mobility is access by public transport, with free shuttles from Château de Vincennes metro.

Trajectory analysis

The show is very stable: same venue, same two-day Friday-Saturday format, same hours, and a calendar anchored in March. The only notable movement is the shift in dates, from the first half of March up to 2025 to the third week since 2026.

The organiser does not publish a figures report for each edition, which makes it impossible to measure growth. For an exhibitor, the appeal lies less in growth than in concentration: the show brings together, in one place over two days, manufacturers and distributors of podiatric equipment in front of practitioners.

The dates of the 2028 edition had not been announced at the time of writing.

All data that does not state its source comes from the organiser's website.

Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (salonpodologie.com).
