Key takeaways
- The Salon de l'Expérience Étudiante, or SEE, is a BtoB trade show reserved for higher education, research and training professionals. It brings together providers of solutions for student life: edtech, campus fit-out and property, health, prevention, housing, catering, employment and internships.
- Next edition: the 3rd, on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 March 2027, at Docks de Paris, in the Dock Pullman, in Aubervilliers, on the edge of the 19th arrondissement. Open from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Tuesday and from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Wednesday.
- Change of venue: after the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris in 2024 and the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie in 2026, the trade show is moving to Docks de Paris.
- Organisation: a tandem between HEADway Advisory, a consultancy specialising in higher education and research, and RPI (Régie Publicité Industrielle), a BtoB trade show organiser that handles stand sales.
- Annual frequency since 2026. Launched in November 2024, the trade show skipped 2025 as it shifted to spring: its 2nd edition was held in March 2026.
- 2026 results: around 83 exhibitors, up 65% on the previous edition, 1,300 visitors and close to 1,700 badges issued, according to the organiser's press release.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The offering is organised into three villages. The TECH village presents institutions' digital solutions: admissions and entrance exam platforms, ERP and CRM systems dedicated to higher education, assessment, attendance-tracking and certification tools. The SERVICE village brings together players in health, prevention, employment and internships, as well as housing, catering and leisure. The CAMPUS village hosts professionals in property, the fit-out of living spaces and lecture halls. A Start-up Kiosk format complements the standard stands.
The organiser cites as target exhibitors edtech companies, property and fit-out professionals, suppliers of educational equipment, players in health and employment, banks, mutual insurers and insurance companies, and sports or cultural associations.
Notable exhibitors
The website publishes a list of 2027 exhibitors, already featuring around fifty entries with their stand numbers six months before opening. It includes Bouygues Bâtiment France and Linkcity, Manutan Collectivités, Unowhy, Smerra, Edusign, Jalios, Efficy, Eudonet CRM, Gofluent, Admitio, Aimaira and AlumnForce. Many were already present in 2026: the trade show retains a core group of software vendors for higher education.
The 2026 edition's list remains available. It also included screen and projector manufacturers (BenQ, Epson, Iiyama, ViewSonic), Picard Surgelés, Selecta, JobTeaser and Pronote Campus.
Visitor quality
The trade show targets institutional decision-makers: university presidents, school directors, chief executives, procurement directors, campus and student-life managers. The site's contact form details the expected visitor typology: universities, IAE and IUT institutes, engineering, management and arts schools, specialised schools, CFA apprenticeship centres, vocational training bodies, sixth-form colleges with CPGE classes, ministries and local authorities.
The 2026 results report 1,300 visitors and close to 1,700 badges issued as separate figures. No third-party attendance audit is published.
Programme & community
Conference programme
The 2027 programme has not yet been published: the Conferences page currently points to the 2026 agenda. At that edition, conferences and workshops were fully booked according to the organiser, built around five themes: artificial intelligence in support of student pathways, mental health and wellbeing, student engagement, data-driven management, and innovations transforming campuses. The opening conference was given by Sylvie Retailleau.
In 2026, an Associations Area hosted grassroots organisations, including Cop1 Solidarités Étudiantes, AFEV, Nightline France, 100% Handinamique, StudHelp, Prévention Jeunes and the CIDFF de Paris.
Awards
The trade show hands out the Trophées de l'Expérience Étudiante (Student Experience Trophies). 2026 winners, announced on 26 March: first prize for Student Engagement to IUT de Saint-Denis for the Tribunal pour les Générations Futures; first prize for Campus Life to Rennes School of Business for The Houses; first prize for Student Health to KEDGE Business School for the Maison Care 4 Student; jury special mention to EKLYA School of Business for its multi-skilled employee programme, a diploma-awarding course for young people with disabilities. The 2027 Trophies had not yet been launched at the time of writing.
Community & networks
The trade show is backed by sponsors from higher education: AVUF (the French association of university cities), CDEFI, CDEFM, the Conférence des grandes écoles, FESIC, FNEGE, France Universités, UGEI and Studyrama. According to the organiser, they contribute to building the conference programme.
On the press side, the media partner is L'Essentiel du Sup, the weekly newsletter published by HEADway Advisory.
Not to be confused with the Salon de l'Étudiant Île-de-France, a public careers and guidance event aimed at sixth-formers and students: the SEE is aimed at those who run the institutions, not at prospective students.
On site: what you need to know
Docks de Paris occupies the former Magasins Généraux warehouses, at 87 avenue des Magasins Généraux in Aubervilliers, on the edge of the 19th arrondissement. The trade show is held in the Dock Pullman, the largest of the site's three docks, covering around 3,200 m² according to operator Châteauform'.
By public transport, the site is 4 minutes from Front Populaire metro station and 10 minutes from Porte d'Aubervilliers (T3b tram). From RER B, get off at La Plaine Stade de France and take bus 239 to the Netsquare stop. By car, take the Porte d'Aubervilliers exit off the ring road; the organiser advertises free on-site parking.
Opening hours: Tuesday 9 March 2027 from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Wednesday 10 March from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Visitor registration had not yet opened at the time of writing.
How much it costs to exhibit
The organiser publishes an entry-level price: turnkey stands from €2,900 excl. VAT, available in 9 m², 6 m² or Start-up Kiosk formats. The detailed price list is included in the order form provided by RPI's sales team.

Preparing your visit
For exhibitors
- Book early: the 2027 list already featured around fifty exhibitors in September 2026.
- Choose a village, TECH, SERVICE or CAMPUS, based on the target contact within the institution: IT and academic affairs management, student life management, or property management.
- Apply to speak: the 2026 conferences were fully booked, and the programme is built with institutional sponsors.
- Plan ahead for the process: a signed order form to return, and a deposit due within fifteen days to secure the pitch.
For decision-making visitors
- Watch for visitor registration to open, announced for the near future.
- Check the list of exhibitors by category before coming, to target your meetings.
- Use the Trophies to spot initiatives from peer institutions, often more transferable than a commercial solution.
CSR policy & initiatives
The trade show's website has no section devoted to the environment or corporate social responsibility, and no ISO 20121 event certification is displayed.
On the organisers' side, HEADway Advisory presents itself as a mission-led company since 2024, with a stated mission to help build a society founded on knowledge and responsibility. No CSR programme could be found for RPI.
The trade show's content does, however, carry a clear social dimension: student mental health and wellbeing on the programme, an Associations Area focused on solidarity and inclusion, and a 2026 jury special mention awarded to a course for young people with disabilities. These are programme themes, not event-management commitments.

Trajectory analysis
The SEE is a young trade show that has found its audience within two editions. Its 65% growth in exhibitor numbers between 2024 and 2026 tracks a topic the organiser describes as a growing concern for institutions, driven by high student expectations and, in the private sector, by the fee-paying nature of tuition.
Every edition has changed venue, and the choice of Docks de Paris for 2027 marks a shift from landmark academic institutions to a conventional event venue, sized for stands. The calendar has also moved, from November in 2024 to March since 2026.
The model rests on a complementary pairing: one partner brings sector knowledge and the institutional network, the other trade-show organising expertise. Whether the annual rhythm holds over time remains to be confirmed, with only one sequence so far, 2026 then 2027.
