Key takeaways
- The Salon Souveraineté Numérique, known as SSN, is a trade show devoted to European digital technologies: cloud, AI and data, cybersecurity, digital identity, software and open source, semiconductors. Its stated aim is to reduce organisations' dependence on non-European technologies and to speed up the adoption of European alternatives.
- Next edition: the second, on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 June 2027, in Hall 5 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Opening hours and visitor registration arrangements have not yet been published.
- Organiser: Quinze Mai, a professional events agency. No co-organiser.
- A very young trade show: the first edition took place on 30 June and 1 July 2026 at the Espace Champerret, with 2,096 participants and 130 exhibitors according to the organiser's results. The 2027 edition changes venue and aims for more than 4,000 participants and more than 200 exhibitors.
- Annual frequency announced: the 2027 edition follows directly on from 2026, but the rhythm rests on only two editions so far.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The 2026 directory sorts exhibitors into ten families: sovereign cloud and infrastructure, collaboration and productivity, consulting and integration, cybersecurity and digital resilience, AI, data and analytics, digital identity and trust services, business software, networks and telecoms, data storage and archiving, and an institutional ecosystem.
The trade show mixes software vendors, integrators, hosting providers, start-ups and large groups, with a strong presence of open source and free software cooperatives. For 2027, the organiser announces software vendors, integrators, technology suppliers, start-ups and large groups.
Notable exhibitors
The names below are those of the first edition, in 2026; the 2027 list has not been published. The April 2026 press release named as main sponsors Sopra Steria, as Gold sponsor, together with Free Pro, Cloud Temple and Wire, Linagora, DigDash, Agilitest and Magellan, Axway, the CEA, cegedim.cloud, Centreon and Yousign.
The 2026 exhibitor directory also lists Proton, Qwant, Nextcloud, BlueMind, Jamespot, Matomo, Element, Linphone, Jahia, Capgemini, CGI, T-Systems, Nokia and Fabasoft, alongside public bodies such as Bpifrance and the Direction générale des Entreprises.
Visitor quality
The trade show targets IT and technology decision-makers, with CIOs, CTOs and CISOs at the top, procurement and public purchasing departments, business leaders, public and private decision-makers and large end users, as well as investors.
For the 2026 edition, the organiser states that 39% of visitors came from IT departments and 16% from general management or a business-unit management team. Digital and technology accounted for 58% of visitors and the public sector for 14%. Among the organisations represented on the visitor side, it names in particular the Assemblée nationale, several ministries, UGAP, ANSSI, DINUM, the Caisse des Dépôts, EDF, Airbus, Thales, SNCF and La Banque Postale. These figures are self-declared: no independent audit of attendance has been published.
Programme & community
Conference programme
The 2026 programme was structured around eight tracks: geopolitics, strategic autonomy and resilience; European regulation and operational impact; trusted infrastructure and cloud; identity, data and trust services; trusted, secure and operational AI; open source, digital commons and alternatives; public sector, local authorities and public procurement; ecosystems, start-ups and financing. It relied on a programme committee and gave priority to user feedback from CIOs, CISOs, local authorities and government departments.
More than 120 speakers took the floor in 2026. The opening conference on 30 June 2026 brought together Olivier Biton (managing director of CA-GIP, Crédit Agricole), Thibault de Tersant (vice-president of Numeum) and Charlotte Marelli (Direction générale des Entreprises). The case studies announced came notably from the Occitanie Region, the IGN and BPCE. The edition was held under the patronage of Anne Le Hénanff, then Minister Delegate for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs.
For 2027, the organiser announces 70 conferences and workshops and more than 200 speakers. The detailed programme has not been published.
Formats
Beyond the exhibition, the trade show combines conferences, use-case workshops, a business meetings programme run by a team that matches the projects of registered visitors with exhibitors, a CEO Summit dedicated to business leaders, and partner tracks: half-days of conferences programmed by a partner, with its own speakers.
Community & networks
The trade show draws on a broad network of institutional and association supporters. The April 2026 press release named, among others, the Alliance pour la Confiance Numérique, the ANCT, Cap Digital, the CESIN, France Digitale, Hub France IA, InfraNum, the Institut du Numérique Responsable, the Pôle ENTER, Systematic, the DINUM and La French Tech Grand Paris. The Direction générale des Entreprises states that it supports the trade show.
On the press side, the official press review lists 27 publications around the 2026 edition, including ITSocial, Alliancy, IT for Business, La Tribune and DSIH.
On site: what you need to know
The 2027 edition takes place in Hall 5 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, 1 place de la Porte de Versailles, in the 15th arrondissement. The exact entrance to the hall will be announced before the show.
By metro, take line 12 to Porte de Versailles, exit 1 towards pavilions 2 to 7. By tram, T2 and T3a, stop Porte de Versailles - Parc des Expositions. By bus, line 80 at Porte de Versailles and line 39 at Desnouettes. A Vélib' station is located on avenue Ernest Renan. Car parks P1, P6 and P7 offer spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility.
Detailed opening hours will be announced before the show. Visitor registration for 2027 is not yet open and admission pricing has not been confirmed: the website offers a sign-up for an alert when registration opens.
How much it costs to exhibit
| Poste de dépense | Fourchette basse | Fourchette haute |
|---|---|---|
| Small equipped stand, start-up or SME package (indicative) | €3,000 | €8,000 |

| Sponsor pack: visibility, speaking slot, partner track (indicative) | €10,000 | €50,000 |

| INDICATIVE TOTAL, exhibitor presence (2 days) | ~€4,000 | ~€30,000 |
At this type of trade show, the item that makes the budget vary is less the floor area than the speaking slot: workshops, conferences and partner tracks generally fall under sponsor packages. Actual prices should be requested from the trade show team.
Preparing your visit
For exhibitors
- Request the 2027 exhibitor pack early via the Why exhibit page: the trade show is changing venue and scale, and stand locations will be allocated on a new floor plan.
- Arrive with customer case studies: the audience comes to assess integration, reversibility, compliance and deployment conditions, not just features.
- Register your teams for the business meetings programme, which organises qualified meetings between exhibitors and visitors with projects.
- Aim for a use-case workshop or a round table: the programme is built by a committee, with a call for speakers (the 2026 call was open until 24 February 2026).
For decision-making visitors
- Sign up for the registration-opening alert on the official website.
- Prepare a list of dependencies to reduce, such as messaging, cloud, AI and identity, and compare European offerings on reversibility, hosting and compliance.
- Follow a thematic track rather than moving from stand to stand: in 2026, the eight tracks served as the thread running through the programme.
- Use the business meetings to meet suppliers directly on an identified project.
CSR policy & initiatives
The trade show's website publishes a CSR Policy page, which reproduces the organiser's, and an Our Commitments page, written for the 2026 edition, on the team's gradual move towards sovereign digital tools (a website partly hosted with a European provider, GDPR-compliant French emailing, surveys and calls for speakers run on free software tools hosted in Europe). Responsible digital practice also appears in the content, with the Institut du Numérique Responsable and the Pôle ENTER among the supporters, but these are programme themes, not a commitment by the event itself.
The organiser, Quinze Mai, states that it is AFAQ ISO 20121 certified and publishes a commitments page: waste sorting and recovery, carpet recycling, fewer printed materials in favour of digital, badge holders made of recycled plastic, services entrusted to ESAT (sheltered employment establishments). It also gives recommendations to exhibitors: certified stand builders, eco-designed and reusable stands, rented furniture and equipment, travel by train.
The venue is operated by Viparis, which states that it has been ISO 20121 certified across all its sites since 2014 and rolls out its Better Events policy.

Trajectory analysis
The trade show was launched in November 2025 with a target of 100 exhibitors for its first edition. It finally brought together 130, and 2,096 participants, when the April 2026 press release expected close to 2,500: a denser offering than planned, with attendance slightly below target.
The 2027 edition embraces a change of scale: leaving the Espace Champerret for a hall at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, a target of doubling participants, and more than 200 exhibitors. These are targets, not results: the second edition will show whether this positioning holds over time.
For a European software vendor or hosting provider, the appeal is the concentration of buyers already convinced by the subject, notably in the public sector. For a decision-maker, it is a rare point of comparison between European offerings within a single scope.
The dates of the 2028 edition had not been announced at the time of writing.
