Key takeaways

  • SATIS, the trade show for image and sound technologies, is the French-speaking meeting point for the audiovisual technical industries: filming, post-production, broadcast, distribution, audio and audiovisual integration, from capture through to the screen.
  • Next edition: the 44th, from Wednesday 4 to Thursday 5 November 2026, at Docks de Paris, 87 avenue des Magasins Généraux in Aubervilliers, in the La Plaine Saint-Denis district. Visitor accreditation is free.
  • Organiser: Génération Numérique Events SARL, which publishes the official website. The press releases present the trade show as organised by Génération Numérique, an agency founded in 2014 that publishes the magazines Mediakwest and Sonovision and the platform Moovee, and that has organised SATIS since 2017. No co-organiser; the trade show is supported by Plaine Commune and the CNC.
  • Annual frequency, in November. The trade show passed its 40th edition in 2022. In 2020, it took the form of five days of live streaming on SATIS TV, from 23 to 27 November, with no physical exhibition.
  • Results of the 43rd edition, on 5 and 6 November 2025: 9,318 participants, up 4% on 2024, and 206 exhibitors, represented brands and partners, including 36 new exhibitors.
  • For 2026, the organiser announces close to 9,000 participants, 200 exhibitors and represented brands, and more than 60 conferences and keynotes.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

Manufacturers, distributors, integrators, service providers, software publishers, institutions: the organiser describes a panorama covering the entire audiovisual chain. The Dock Pullman is its technological heart, covering capture (cameras, optics, drones), audio, lighting, post-production, broadcast and distribution. The Dock Eiffel is dedicated to new production methods. At the centre of the show, Screen4All showcases start-ups.

The sectors listed range from fiction and cinema to advertising and corporate communication, taking in live events, broadcast and television, animation and VFX, audio, esports, museography, audiovisual integration and platforms. Among the technologies in development, the site lists live IP, immersive 3D audio, volumetric capture, generative artificial intelligence, 5G applied to broadcast, and gaussian splatting.

The 2026 edition organises the offer into four Parcours Solution tracks, flagged on stands, the floor plan and the site: Intelligence Artificielle, Création de contenus, Green4All - Ecoprod and, new this year, Intégration AV. This last one identifies exhibitors who fit out companies, cultural venues, event spaces and institutions with image, sound and video equipment: a market that extends beyond traditional broadcast.

Notable exhibitors

The 2026 exhibitor list is online. It had 89 entries as of 27 September 2026, against the 200 exhibitors and represented brands announced by the organiser.

It notably includes manufacturers and vendors of production, transmission and distribution solutions: Canon, Sony France, Panasonic Connect Europe, Grass Valley, EVS, Evertz, Ross Video, Riedel Communications, Lawo AG, LiveU, Haivision, TVU Networks, Telestream, Ateme and MediaKind. On the service provider and integrator side, AMP Visual TV, Broadcasting Center Europe and Videlio. The INA, the FICAM, Ecoprod and Plaine Commune also appear on the list.

Visitor quality

Accreditation is free and the audience is professional: the organiser cites creators, technicians, broadcasters and institutions. The 2025 results describe a French-speaking community from France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, North Africa and Canada; the Exhibit page, for its part, mentions visitors from 60 countries.

The trade show also continues remotely: in 2025, 1,170 listeners followed the SATIS TV live stream, in addition to the 4,920 attendees present in the rooms. The organiser also reports 13% more leads generated compared with 2024.

No OJS certification or third-party attendance audit is published. The 9,318 figure for 2025 is presented at times as participants, at times as unique visitors, without the counting method being detailed.

Events & community

Conference programme

The 2026 programme announces more than 60 conferences and keynotes, free to attend for accredited visitors, across six themes: the Creator Economy, streaming and platforms (FAST TV, AVOD, SVOD), the evolution of broadcast (Full IP, cloud, 5G, virtualisation), artificial intelligence, workflow efficiency and productivity, and sport and live events. Sessions are split between five THEMA rooms, on the upper floor of the Dock Pullman, and two AGORA rooms at the Dock Eiffel, where sound is relayed to listeners via headphones. About ten conferences are broadcast live on SATIS TV, and replays are offered free of charge on Moovee.

For the third year running, the CST, Commission Supérieure Technique de l'Image et du Son, devotes Wednesday 4 November to broadcast: five expert panels on IP standardisation, UHD HDR flows, the security of AI-generated content and dematerialised production.

Three other fixtures structure the edition. The Creation Lab covers the professionalisation and monetisation of content creators. Cap Innovation @SATIS, run with Cap Digital, brings together laboratories, graduate schools and project leads through conferences and an Innovation Dating session, with pitches every 30 minutes across the two days. Finally, the show hosts a meetup of Paris Video Tech, an online video technology community, open to its members only, by invitation.

As a point of reference, the 2025 edition had brought together more than 70 conferences, keynotes and round tables, and 250 speakers.

Trophées SATIS

The Trophées SATIS mark their tenth edition in 2026. Open to exhibitors only, they reward an innovative product or service, selected by a jury of audiovisual experts, across ten categories: Production et Tournage, Postproduction, Diffusion & Distribution, Service, Communication AV, Intégration, Futur et R&D, Prix Innovation & Création, an environmental initiative award given by a jury drawn from Ecoprod, and a jury's special mention. A Prix Spécial Audio, created in 2025, completes the line-up. The 2026 jury had not yet been published at the time of writing.

In 2025, the ninth edition had reviewed 92 entries and recognised 10 winners and 10 special mentions.

Community & networks

JobDating by SATIS returns in 2026 for its fourth edition, in partnership with ProfilCulture, with workshops and short talks on employment, careers and training. In 2025, with ProfilCulture and France Travail, it had enabled more than 120 interviews.

The partners published are those of 2025: Broadcasting Center Europe as Premium sponsor, INA campus and France Télévisions as VIP sponsors; AMP Visual TV, AMF, multiCAM Systems and Pixelight - Visuall Group as technical partners; Cap Digital, the CST, Ecoprod, FICAM Pro, France Travail, FranceVFX, Locales TV, ProfilCulture, RA Pro, RISE and the World AI Film Festival as institutional partners.

On the press side, the organiser relies on its own titles, Mediakwest, Sonovision and Moovee, and on media partners such as 3DVF, Écran total, médiaClub, Satellifacts, SONO Mag and XRMust.

The community lives on beyond the show itself: free replays on Moovee, conferences as podcasts and, since 2025, SATIS+, a regional offshoot of the show. Its latest edition was held on 1 and 2 July 2026 at the Halle de l'innovation in Montpellier, with around fifteen exhibitors and a focus on fiction series and animation.

On site: what you need to know

The Docks de Paris occupy the former general warehouses on avenue des Magasins Généraux in Aubervilliers, on the doorstep of the 19th arrondissement. SATIS spreads across more than 7,000 sqm of exhibition, welcome and conference space: visitor welcome and the AGORA rooms at the Dock Eiffel, the heart of the exhibition and the THEMA rooms at the Dock Pullman, and two VIP areas, on the upper floor of the Dock Haussmann and the first floor of the Dock Pullman.

By metro, line 12 runs to its terminus at Front Populaire, a 10-minute walk away. From RER B (La Plaine Stade de France) or RER D (Stade de France Saint-Denis), allow 30 to 35 minutes on foot, or take the Icade electric shuttle buses linking the two stations. A free electric river shuttle connects the Parc de la Villette to the Millénaire stop, a 10-minute walk from the Docks. Several Vélib bike stations are installed in the park. By car, the organiser advertises free, attended parking, as well as free two-wheeler parking.

The 2026 opening hours had not yet been published at the time of writing: the Hours and Access page still showed those of 2025, from 9.30am to 9pm on the first day and 9.30am to 6pm on the second. A paid cloakroom is available at the entrance. The practical information page lists 25 hotels, three of them within a 15-minute walk.

A VIP accreditation is offered for €60 excl. VAT: free cloakroom, priority access to conferences, wifi, drinks in the lounge areas, fast-track entry and a catering voucher.

How much it costs to exhibit

The organiser does not publish any price list online: the Exhibit page refers enquiries to the trade show's commercial director for stands, partnerships and sponsorships.

Génération Numérique does not publish any exhibition pricing online. The amounts below are indicative orders of magnitude for a two-day Paris technical trade show of this format. They are in no way the official SATIS rates.
Poste de dépenseFourchette basseFourchette haute
Stand of 9 to 18 sqm and fit-out: partitions, furniture, electricity, signage (indicative)3,000 €12,000 €

At a technical trade show, the variable that tips the budget is the live demonstration: equipment transported, wired and insured for two days, screens and network. Rates to be requested from the SATIS commercial team.

Preparing your visit

For the exhibitor

  • Apply for the Trophées SATIS, open to exhibitors only: 92 entries in 2025, all presented on the site, with winner interviews broadcast on Moovee.
  • Get listed under the right Parcours Solution track, which provides dedicated signage on the stand, the floor plan and the site. The Green4All - Ecoprod track is reserved for Ecoprod members.
  • Use the lead-scanning app made available to exhibitors, and book important meetings in the VIP areas, set back from the exhibition zones.
  • If the target audience is broadcast, concentrate key meetings and demonstrations on Wednesday 4 November, the CST day.
  • Publish job vacancies in advance via JobDating by SATIS and ProfilCulture.

For the decision-making visitor

  • Get accredited online, free of charge; the VIP accreditation at €60 excl. VAT is mainly worthwhile for those attending back-to-back conferences.
  • Choose your day: Wednesday 4 November for the CST Day devoted to broadcast, both days for the general programme.
  • Plan your visit by track rather than by dock: the four Parcours Solution tracks cross stands and conferences.
  • Catch up remotely on what you missed: the SATIS TV live stream for accredited visitors, free replays on Moovee.
  • Favour line 12 or the river shuttle: the venue is some distance from the RER stations.

CSR policy & initiatives

Eco-production is built into the show's content. Ecoprod, the reference association for ecological and sustainable practices in the audiovisual sector, has been a SATIS partner since 2024. In 2026, the former Green4All village becomes a cross-cutting Parcours Solution track that flags Ecoprod member exhibitors across all areas, and speakers chosen by the association take part in conferences beyond purely environmental topics. The environmental initiative award, given by an Ecoprod jury, also returns in 2026.

On the social side, the organiser presents JobDating by SATIS as a CSR initiative, intended to support recruitment in a sector under strain.

This content should be distinguished from an organisational commitment. Neither the show's site nor its organiser publishes a formalised CSR policy, an event carbon footprint or ISO 20121 certification. Génération Numérique's website was inaccessible at the time of checking. The Docks de Paris operator's page highlights a caterer presented as committed, with no environmental certification for the venue.

Trajectory analysis

Attendance grows with each published set of results: 8,960 visitors in 2024, up 7.5% on 2023, then 9,318 in 2025, up 4%. Conference audiences follow the same trend, from 4,100 attendees on site in 2024 to 4,920 in 2025. The number of exhibitors, brands and partners is, by contrast, stable, even slightly down, from 212 to 206, with regular turnover: 38 new exhibitors in 2024, 36 in 2025. The 2026 announcement, close to 9,000 participants and 200 exhibitors and brands, remains below the last set of results: a cautious target rather than a promise of growth.

The content, however, is shifting more than the size. Eco-production has moved from a dedicated village, set up at the Dock Eiffel in 2025, to a cross-cutting track in 2026. Audiovisual integration has gained its own track and, in 2026, content creation a dedicated programme, the Creation Lab. The show, which its site described in 2022 as the meeting point for the technical industries of cinema, television and new media, is thereby widening its target towards integrators and creators, while keeping broadcast at its centre with the CST day.

The format has also shown its capacity to adapt: the 2020 edition, announced at the Docks de Paris for 3 and 4 November, ultimately took the form of five days of live online streaming, and SATIS TV has since remained a channel of the show, relaying part of the conference programme. SATIS+, launched in Montpellier in 2025 and extended to two days in 2026, continues this logic in the regions.

The dates for the 2027 edition had not been announced at the time of writing.
