The 2027 supplier file organises the offer into seven families: food safety (HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, IFS, regulatory monitoring), sanitary safety (industrial cleaning, disinfection, air and water quality, biofilms, biosecurity, pests, staff hygiene), traceability and logistics (ERP, LIMS, RFID/NFC, withdrawals and recalls, refrigerated transport), analysis and control (physico-chemistry, microbiology, quality control), packaging and conditioning (smart packaging, eco-design, EC 1935/2004 compliance, plastics processing), cross-cutting skills (consulting, training, certification) and associated equipment and services (analysis equipment, foreign-body detection by X-ray or vision, laundry, workwear, PPE, traceability software).

The format favours suppliers whose pitch fits into a technical discussion: laboratories, certification bodies, cleaning companies, software publishers, inspection equipment makers. Two elements of the invitation file are of direct interest to the exhibitor. The buyer describes their short-, medium- and long-term projects there, with the planned investment. The invitation also asks them not to cancel less than three weeks before the event without finding a replacement, unless they are the only contact person in their company.

Conference programme

The 2027 programme has not yet been published. The organiser announces strategic, technical, innovative and regulatory conferences, as well as industrial case studies. All participants, suppliers and buyers alike, have access to them, and the online catalogue will give the details from 26 May 2027.

In 2026, as a pointer, the cycle announced around 20 conferences over the two days, in 30-minute slots. The programme included the PPWR regulation coming into application presented by Ligépack, non-intentionally added substances by Pure Laboratoire, PFAS in food packaging by IPC, the Bacillus cereus group by Eurofins and allergen control by Prognosis Biotech.

CAPITAL RSE, the following day

On Thursday 24 June 2027, at the same venue, the first edition of CAPITAL RSE will take place, a separate multi-sector event devoted to corporate social responsibility. It is aimed in particular at executives, CSR managers, consultants, training bodies and regulatory experts. Securfood remains a two-day event: the terms of the following day's event should be checked separately.

Specific to the trade show: the organiser indicates metro line B, Stade de Gerland station, Parc Relais TCL exit, with the building opposite the car park once you have crossed it. It states 10 minutes from Part-Dieu station and 30 minutes by taxi from Lyon airport. 2027 hours: reception from 8:00 to 9:00 on Tuesday 22 June, meetings and conferences from 9:00 to 12:30 then from 14:00 to 18:30, cocktail at 18:45. On Wednesday 23 June, reception from 8:30 to 9:00, the same morning sequence, then from 14:00 to 17:35, the closing time of the convention.

The logistics guides currently online relate to the 2026 edition in Beauvais: set-up and delivery arrangements in Lyon remain to be checked with the organiser.

How much it costs to exhibit

The rates come from the 2027 supplier order form, titled "Securfood - Packinnove 2027". Each package includes a profile page and access to the catalogue, access to the conferences and catering for both days. Packages 1, 2 and 3 include the meeting schedule, as well as 300 sponsorship invitations for the 4 m² stand and 500 for the 6 m² one.

A 60% deposit accompanies the application. If you cancel 21 days or more before the event, 40% of the total including tax remains due; at 20 days or less, the full amount.

Preparing your visit

For exhibitors

• Take care over the presentation profile: skills, certifications and client references feed the catalogue from which buyers choose their contacts. It remains editable until Monday 24 May 2027.
• Technical catalogue opens: Wednesday 26 May 2027 at 12:00. Meeting requests, any refusals and availabilities: by Friday 11 June 2027 at 12:00 at the latest. Schedule sent: Thursday 17 June 2027 at 12:00. Refusals are only taken into account at the catalogue stage.
• Aim wide from the first selection: in 2026, the organiser announced up to 26 meetings over the two days. Coming with a colleague, for the additional person fee, also lets you receive spontaneous visits.
• A 30-minute conference reaches a complementary target. Its content must be technical, technological, innovative or regulatory, not commercial, and the organiser validates it.
• Before signing, ask abe for the number and profile of buyers at the 2026 edition: none of these figures is published on the site.

For decision-making visitors

• The buyer invitation is free. It includes the meetings, the conferences, the catalogue, the lunches, the cocktail and access to the presentations after the event.
• abe offers to reimburse accommodation up to €100 per night, for one or two nights, on receipts to be provided before 10 July 2027.
• Attendance can cover 22 June, 23 June or both days.

CSR policy & initiatives

On the organiser's side, abe publishes a page, Nos actions RSE: waste sorting in-house and at its business conventions, train travel preferred, digitisation of expense reports and invoices, caterers with a local approach, local suppliers and printers, eco-design and digital signage.

On the venue's side, ISARA, shown as a partner on the event's website, states that it is among the roughly 60 higher education institutions certified DD&RS (sustainable development and social responsibility), in its CSR policy.

Sustainable packaging and the launch of CAPITAL RSE belong to the programme and the event offering: they do not in themselves constitute a commitment by Securfood.

How the trade show has evolved

Trajectory analysis

Securfood used to operate as a regional series: a version of the site archived in July 2021 listed dates in Rennes (June 2018), Lyon (December 2018), Marseille (November 2019) and Lille. The editions read subsequently were held in Lyon in 2022, 2023 and 2024, then in Beauvais in 2025 and 2026, before the return to Lyon in 2027. The venue therefore changes from one period to the next, with one recent common point: a higher education campus.

The 2027 edition shows two shifts: the addition of the Sanitary Safety area and the ambition to become a European meeting point for food risk management. The second remains an intention as long as no audited figures are published.

The positioning is best read by contrast. The CFIA Rennes brings together food industry suppliers and manufacturers at trade-show scale, and ALLFORPACK Emballage Paris, announced for 29 June to 1 July 2027, is devoted to all packaging solutions. Securfood narrows the subject to risk control and replaces browsing the aisles with a schedule of meetings. abe also organises other professional meetings, such as Intermaintenance in Lyon or Aeromart Toulouse.

The point of caution for an exhibitor is legibility: with no published figures, the return on investment depends on the number of buyers actually selected in the catalogue. The format's argument is targeting and time for discussion, not volume.
