Key takeaways
- Solicare describes itself as the first national trade show for the private non-profit sector in health and solidarity: voluntary-sector, mutual and foundation-run health, social and medico-social establishments. It presents itself as the “Salon engagé Santé & Solidarité” (the health and solidarity trade show with a mission) and brings exhibition, conferences and networking together in one venue.
- First edition, Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 December 2026, at the Palais des Congrès de Paris, Porte Maillot. Open 9am to 6pm on Wednesday and 9am to 5pm on Thursday.
- The trade show is co-sponsored by three of the sector's umbrella bodies: the FEHAP, Nexem and the Mutualité Française. The website names the agency Quinze Mai as organiser (terms and conditions and footer), while the press releases describe the three federations as co-organisers.
- Frequency not announced: no edition preceded the 2026 one and no follow-up has been dated at this stage.
- The official list shows 106 exhibitors as at 10 October 2026. No attendance target is published.
- The edition is held under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic, announced by the co-organisers on 21 September 2026.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The trade show is aimed at suppliers to private non-profit establishments. The organiser sorts the offer into five families: construction and fit-out (architecture, engineering, design offices), equipment, medical devices and medicines, logistics and daily living (laundry, hotels, catering), services (consulting, financing, training, recruitment), and digital technologies and information systems. Distributors and resellers are added to these.
Several identified areas structure the exhibition beyond the numbered stands. A Pavillon Institutionnel (institutional pavilion) hosts the ANAP and a Village des Associations (associations village) hosts the Association France Parkinson. The Village Startup, which the exhibitor listings also call the “Pavillon Start-up”, is reserved for young companies that meet the eligibility criteria set by the organiser, with a dedicated area at the heart of the trade show.
The Village Infirmier (nurses' village) has a special place: while waiting for the return of the Salon Infirmier in December 2027, this gathering of the profession is setting up a recruitment-focused area at Solicare 2026, where nurses, healthcare managers and care professionals meet establishments that are hiring. For an employer in the sector, it is a reason to be present in its own right.
Notable exhibitors
The official exhibitor list, consulted on 10 October 2026, shows 106 exhibitors for this first edition. The three co-sponsors appear there with their own stands.
It includes players in purchasing and financing, such as the CAHPP, the purchasing centre for health and medico-social establishments, Banque Populaire and Caisse d'Epargne; digital service providers, including Atos; as well as Ayming and API Restauration, and associations, such as the Association France Parkinson. Two other players speak in the interviews published by the trade show: the HR platform Hublo (stand K06), which will present its recruitment and scheduling tools there, and the Fondation Cognacq-Jay, as a participant.
A separate section, “Établissement / Structure” (establishment / organisation), also lists sector organisations, including the Fondation John Bost, the Fondation ILDYS, the Fondation Partage et Vie and the Fondation Vincent de Paul.
Visitor quality
The participant profile published by the organiser is broad but coherent: health establishments (ESPIC non-profit hospitals and clinics, cancer centres, follow-up and rehabilitation care, psychiatry, palliative care, dialysis, hospital-at-home), medico-social establishments (EHPAD care homes, independent-living residences, facilities for people with disabilities, nursing and home-care services, child protection), social establishments (CHRS shelters, nurseries, legal protection of adults), health centres and territorial coordination schemes.
Two categories are of direct interest to the exhibitor. First, buyers: purchasing centres, public and private hospital buyer networks, group purchasing bodies. Second, institutions: ministries, ARS regional health agencies, federations, mutuals, local authorities. The organiser promises an audience of senior executives, association managers and heads of establishments.
The weight of the co-sponsoring networks gives a measure of the pool. The FEHAP states more than 6,000 members within more than 1,500 managing organisations, Nexem more than 11,000 establishments and services, and the Mutualité Française nearly 500 mutuals. These are network perimeters, not forecasts of attendance at the trade show: no visitor target is published.
Programme & community
Conference programme
The theme running through this first edition is “Le privé non lucratif, moteur des transformations de notre société” (the private non-profit sector as the driver of our society's transformations). The programme, designed according to the website by an inter-federation committee, whose dedicated page brings together representatives of the FEHAP, Nexem, the Fédération nationale de la Mutualité Française and the Fondation Partage et Vie, is organised around six themes: Le pacte du prendre soin (the pact of caring), Le modèle non lucratif : la troisième voie (the non-profit model: the third way), Investir dans l'humain (investing in people), Financer et pérenniser (funding and sustaining), Territoires, terrain & innovations (territories, field work and innovation), Démocratie en santé & transformation (health democracy and transformation).
The published programme runs on a single plenary stage. Wednesday opens with a round table entitled “Le privé non lucratif : le choix de prendre soin autrement” (the private non-profit sector: choosing to care differently), with the ministerial delegate for the social and solidarity economy, and peaks in the afternoon with a political plenary, “Une seule voix : le privé non lucratif et l'État en dialogue” (one voice: the private non-profit sector in dialogue with the State). At the end of the day, the directors-general of the FEHAP and of the Fédération nationale de la Mutualité Française and the president of the Croix-Rouge française debate the private non-profit model in the face of the century's challenges.
Thursday addresses innovation, old age, the non-profit sector in Europe through comparative perspectives, health care and health democracy, before a closing plenary entitled “Le privé solidaire : une force pour la société, une voix à faire entendre” (the solidarity-based private sector: a force for society, a voice to be heard). The organiser states that the programme is being finalised and that new speakers will be announced.
A trade show that also wants to be a platform
Solicare does not present itself merely as a trade show. Its sponsors describe it as a collective statement by the sector, intended to carry weight in the public debate on the future of the health and social protection system. The presidential High Patronage, the place given to political plenaries and the announced presence of the ministerial delegate for the social and solidarity economy point in that direction.
For an exhibitor, this dual nature has a practical consequence: participants are invited as much for the programme as for the exhibition. The badged visitor has access to the exhibition area, the conferences, the activities and the workshops, on both days.
Community & networks
The FEHAP, present since 1936 across all fields of social protection, Nexem, the main employers' organisation for the voluntary social, medico-social and health sectors, and the Mutualité Française, chaired by Éric Chenut, jointly sponsor the event. The launch press release of 26 May 2026 announced the creation of the trade show on behalf of the three federations, its body text specifying that the FEHAP and Nexem are launching it with the support of the Mutualité Française; the one of 21 September 2026 names the three as co-organisers.
On the press side, some fifteen media and institutional partners support the 2026 edition, from the health trade press (APM News, Hospitalia, TICsanté, Le Quotidien du Médecin, Le Quotidien du Pharmacien) to titles specialising in old age (Géroscopie, Gerontonews, Ehpadia) and in care-sector jobs (Infirmiers.com, Staffsanté, EmploiSoignant), as well as Le Point.
On site: what you need to know
The trade show takes place at the Palais des Congrès de Paris, 2 place de la Porte Maillot, in the 17th arrondissement. Opening hours: Wednesday 9 December 9am to 6pm, Thursday 10 December 9am to 5pm. Detailed access instructions are announced as coming soon.
By public transport: metro line 1, Porte Maillot station (exit 3); RER C and RER E, Neuilly - Porte Maillot station; tram T3b, Porte Maillot stop; buses 43, 73, 82, 244 and PC. By car, the Indigo Porte Maillot car park is located on the square. From Roissy-Charles de Gaulle, the organiser allows 45 minutes by taxi, or the RER B to Gare du Nord and then the RER E to Neuilly - Porte Maillot. From Orly, 30 minutes by taxi, or metro line 14 and then the RER E or line 1. The organiser encourages travellers to favour the train, car-sharing and active travel.
Visitor registration is through an online badge form, valid on both days; the page mentions no price. Group registrations are made through a downloadable file on the dedicated page, to be returned to contact@15-mai.com. For accommodation, the trade show has selected Revolugo as official partner, with negotiated rates.
How much it costs to exhibit
| Poste de dépense | Fourchette basse | Fourchette haute |
|---|---|---|
| Fully equipped stand of 9 to 18 sq m (floor space, partitions, basic furniture, on quotation) | €4,000 | €12,000 |
| Additional fit-out, electricity, signage, connectivity | €800 | €4,000 |
| Presence in a dedicated village (startup or recruitment), depending on package | €1,500 | €5,000 |
| Staff on site, travel and accommodation in Paris (2 days) | €1,500 | €5,000 |
| Communication, client invitations, sponsored speaking slot | €500 | €8,000 |
| INDICATIVE TOTAL, fully equipped stand (2 days) | ~€6,800 | ~€29,000 |
The village line is an alternative to a standard stand and should not be added to it. At an event where the programme carries as much weight as the exhibition, visibility often comes through a speaking slot or a partnership: ask Quinze Mai early.
Preparing your visit
For exhibitors
- Request the exhibitor and sponsor offer without delay: the opening takes place on 9 December 2026 and 106 exhibitors are listed as at 10 October.
- Choose between a standard stand, the Village Startup (subject to eligibility conditions) and a presence at the Village Infirmier if the main aim is recruiting care staff.
- Target the buyers: purchasing centres and group purchasing bodies are explicitly named in the visitor profile. Prepare a clear offer for non-profit organisations, with their budget constraints.
- Aim for a speaking slot: the organiser opens the official programme to companies and organisations that want to position themselves as leading players.
- Follow the publication of speakers: the programme is still being finalised.
For decision-making visitors
- Reserve Wednesday afternoon for the political plenary, flagged as a highlight in the published programme.
- Make the most of the concentration of players: federations, purchasing centres, banks, digital and HR providers are brought together over two days.
- For a head of establishment struggling to recruit, go through the Village Infirmier.
- Register a delegation using the group form rather than individually.
CSR policy & initiatives
The “Le Salon s'engage” (the trade show commits) section of the website sets out the approach of Quinze Mai, which commits to organising its events more responsibly: selective waste sorting in the exhibition, recovery and recycling of waste, including carpet and cigarette butts, reduced aisle carpeting, fewer printed materials in favour of digital, badge holders in recycled plastic, services entrusted to ESAT sheltered workshops, accessibility of the spaces for people with reduced mobility and encouragement of public transport.
The same page gives exhibitors specific recommendations: certified stand builders, eco-designed and reusable stands, LED lighting, no flyers, goodies limited or replaced by services, hired sound and lighting equipment, travel by train.
At organiser level, Quinze Mai displays ISO 20121 certification on its website. At venue level, the Palais des Congrès de Paris is operated by Viparis, which describes itself as the world's first events operator certified ISO 20121 across all of its sites, since 2014, with a Better Events strategy through to 2030. No event-specific certification or carbon footprint assessment of the edition is published.
On substance, the trade show's theme aligns with the social and solidarity economy: the co-sponsors display a model of disinterested governance, in which surpluses are reinvested in the organisations. This is a sector positioning, to be distinguished from an environmental commitment by the event.

Trajectory analysis
Solicare has no history: it is a 2026 creation, announced on 26 May by the FEHAP, the Mutualité Française and Nexem, the body text of the press release specifying that the FEHAP and Nexem are launching it with the support of the Mutualité Française. What sets it apart is how it is sponsored. Rather than a trade show organiser creating an event and then seeking institutional backing, it is the federations themselves who are launching their national gathering, and the website names the agency Quinze Mai as organiser. The trade show thus has direct access from the outset to its member establishments, which may explain an exhibitor list that is already substantial before the first opening.
The timetable was quick: a little over six months between the announcement and the opening, with the presidential High Patronage announced on 21 September. The Salon Infirmier, which is hosting its Village at Solicare 2026 while waiting for its announced return in December 2027, and which the Quinze Mai website lists among its events, is a pointer to watch for the future of the calendar.
The question for 2027 and beyond is one of longevity: no frequency or second edition has been announced. The December 2026 results, in visitors as in exhibitors, will show whether the bet on a sector platform combined with a suppliers' trade show has found its audience.
