Key points

  • Trustech is the international trade show for payment and identification technologies: smart cards, innovative payments, digital identity, biometrics and cybersecurity. It is aimed at industry manufacturers, financial institutions and public authorities.
  • Next edition: Tuesday 1 to Thursday 3 December 2026, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Pavilion 5.2. Open 9am to 6pm on the first two days and 9am to 4pm on Thursday.
  • Organiser: Comexposium. The show was born as CARTES Secure Connexions, originally devoted to the smart card, and took the name Trustech in 2016.
  • Annual frequency: the 2024, 2025 and 2026 editions all take place in early December. The organiser presents 2026 as the show's 42nd year, after a 41st edition held in 2025.
  • 2025 results: 197 exhibitors, 82% of them from abroad, 7,700 visitors from 104 countries, 115 speakers and 70 conferences and pitches.
  • Free entry, for professionals only, with online registration: the pass covers the exhibition and the conferences on all three days.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

The typical exhibitor is a manufacturer in the digital trust chain: makers of secure cards and materials, suppliers of semiconductors and secure elements, specialists in personalisation and secure printing, publishers of authentication and biometrics solutions, testing and certification laboratories, payment service providers and terminal manufacturers.

The organiser sorts the offer into fourteen areas, including AML and KYC, card manufacturing and issuance, national printing works, microcircuits, schemes and card networks, cybersecurity solutions, identification and biometrics technologies, and payment terminals and readers.

The show is highly international: 82% of the 2025 exhibitors came from abroad, from 35 countries. The 2024 review noted a strong presence of Chinese and Korean players and the return of European and American players in force.

Notable exhibitors

The 2026 exhibitor catalogue listed 131 companies in early October 2026, with their stand numbers. It includes HID, IN Groupe, Infineon Technologies, STMicroelectronics, NXP Semiconductors, Samsung Semiconductor Europe, Entrust, IDnow, Paragon ID, Fime, Multos, Mühlbauer ID Services, Kurz, OVD Kinegram, Linxens, Dermalog, Neurotechnology and Evolis.

The list was not closed at that date: the organiser announces around 200 exhibitors for the 2026 edition.

Visitor quality

Visitors come from banking and finance, public administrations, retail, telecoms, IT, healthcare, transport and logistics. The audience is mostly international: in 2024, 75% of the 7,650 participants came from abroad.

The organiser publishes several indicators: 73% of visitors come with an investment project, and an exhibitor makes 57 contacts on average during the show according to its 2025 study. It also reports 96% of visitors satisfied and 98% of exhibitors satisfied in 2025. These figures are self-reported: no OJS certification or third-party audit of attendance is published.

Activities & community

Conference programme

The 2026 programme is built around two pillars, innovative payments and digital identity. The organiser highlights three sessions:

  • a round table on payment security, with speakers from Banque de France, Decathlon, BPCE, Mastercard and Risk Ident;
  • on 2 December, a talk by Clément Domingo, alias SaxX, cofounder of the NGO Hackers Without Borders, on the changing nature of cybercrime in the age of AI (deepfakes, voice cloning, identity theft, payment fraud), with a live demonstration;
  • on 1 December, the opening track on human-centric digital ecosystems by 2030, which applies trust technologies to healthcare, mobility and public services.

For reference, the 2025 edition had 70 conferences and pitches and 115 speakers, including the SIDI Hub second-anniversary workshop, by invitation.

TRUSTECH Innovation Awards

Created in 2024, the TRUSTECH Innovation Awards are a competition reserved for exhibitors. The 2025 edition received more than 70 entries, shortlisted 12 finalists and named 4 winners: IAI Industrial Systems in identification, Infineon Technologies in smart cards, Market Pay in innovative payments and Cooperativa INCoop in the banks and issuers category.

For 2026, the official schedule provides for the announcement of the finalists on 7 November and the ceremony on Tuesday 1 December, on the Innovation Stage. For 2026, the organiser announces three categories: identification, smart card and innovative payments.

Innovation Stage and Business Meetings

The Innovation Stage, at the heart of the event, hosts short presentations by exhibitors and start-ups. The Business Meetings programme organises 30-minute appointments between visitors and exhibitors, scheduled before the show and free of charge for visitors: around 500 were held in 2025.

Community & networks

The show's partners page lists industry associations and standards bodies, including the FIDO Alliance, GlobalPlatform, the Secure Identity Alliance, the Trusted Connectivity Alliance, the Decentralized Identity Foundation, Women In Identity, Finance Innovation and EESTEL.

On the media partner side, the same page names Biometric Update, The Paypers, The Nilson Report, Finyear and Archimag, among others. The show also produces its own podcast, “In Tech We Trust”.

On site: what to know

The show takes place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Pavilion 5.2, 1 place de la Porte de Versailles, Paris 15th arrondissement. The exhibitor catalogue also places some stands in sector 5.3.

Opening hours: 9am to 6pm on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 December 2026, 9am to 4pm on Thursday 3 December.

Getting there: metro line 12, Porte de Versailles station, trams T2 and T3a, buses 39 and 80. From the Paris railway stations, line 12 runs directly to Montparnasse and Saint-Lazare. The official site gives around 40 minutes from Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle, by RER and metro or by the A1, and 20 minutes from Orly by the A6. For parking, it points to the Onepark and Parclick booking platforms.

The paper pass is compulsory on entry, so that exhibitors can identify the people they speak to. A paid cloakroom and several catering points are provided. The agency Bnetwork offers hotels at negotiated rates around the exhibition centre, and discounts on Air France, KLM and Cathay Pacific flights are detailed on the Plan your visit page. For foreign visitors who need a visa, the organiser issues an invitation letter from the personal account area.

How much does it cost to exhibit

Planning your visit

For exhibitors

  • Book early: 2026 booking is open online, with a simulator that prices the stand, registration packs and communication tools before you commit.
  • Keep the TRUSTECH Innovation Awards in mind for later editions: the competition is reserved for exhibitors, and the 2026 jury is already assessing entries, with finalists announced on 7 November.
  • Prepare meetings in advance through the Business Meetings platform, which matches exhibitors' offers with visitors' stated needs.
  • Ask the organiser about a speaking slot on the Innovation Stage, reserved for exhibitors and start-ups, for a product announcement.

For decision-maker visitors

  • Register online before you come: the pass is free and gives access to all three days of exhibition and conferences.
  • Locate stands in the 2026 catalogue, which gives the pavilion and number of each exhibitor.
  • Block out Tuesday 1 December for the opening track on human-centric digital ecosystems and the Innovation Awards ceremony, and Wednesday 2 for the “AI & Hacking” session on cybercrime and deepfakes.
  • Come with a requirements brief: the show is designed for buying projects, and the 30-minute meetings must be booked before opening.

CSR policy & initiatives

Trustech publishes its own CSR charter, built around three commitments: reducing carbon impact, raising awareness and supporting communities, and encouraging inclusiveness. The actions listed are concrete: 15% less carpet thanks to an eco-designed carpet, 40% of common areas eco-designed in 2025, signage in eco-responsible materials, water fountains and waste sorting. With its partner Millenium, the show states that it cut total waste production by 11% in 2024.

For visitors, plastic badge holders have been replaced by cardboard ones since 2023, and an eco-gestures page points to the ADEME carbon-impact journey comparison tool. On inclusion, the show provides regular announcements for people with disabilities, a welcome for guide dogs and wheelchair loans.

These actions fit within the CSR strategy of the Comexposium group, ALL INvolved, built around ten commitments. The group has joined the UFI Net Zero Carbon Events initiative with a 2050 horizon and obtained the Positive Company label in 2025, at level 2 stars out of 3. The venue is operated by Viparis, certified ISO 20121 across all its sites since 2014 and committed to its Better Events policy.

However, the show publishes neither its own carbon footprint assessment nor an ISO 20121 certification in its own name. For a highly international event (82% of the 2025 exhibitors came from abroad), participant travel is an obvious issue, but the show publishes no figures measuring it to date.

Trajectory analysis

From one edition to the next, size is stable: just over 7,600 participants and around 200 exhibitors in both 2024 and 2025. The slight drop in exhibitor numbers, from 204 to 197, comes with a lower international share, from 86% to 82%. The 2024 review already indicated that larger stands had been signed for 2025, which suggests a concentration of the offer rather than a decline.

The real change is in scope. Starting from the smart card under the name CARTES Secure Connexions, the show became Trustech in 2016 to cover payments, digital identity, biometrics and cybersecurity. The 2026 edition goes further with an opening track on human-centric digital ecosystems by 2030, which applies these technologies to healthcare, mobility and public services. The industrial base remains visible in the 2026 catalogue: makers of cards, security materials and inks, personalisation machines and semiconductors sit alongside publishers of identity and verification solutions. For an exhibitor, Trustech remains first and foremost an industry trade show with a very strong international dimension.
