Paris La Défense Arena
Opened in 2017 at the heart of the Jardins de l'Arche in Nanterre, immediately adjacent to the La Défense business district, Paris La Défense Arena is the largest indoor arena in Europe. Designed by the Atelier Christian de Portzamparc, this ultra-modular venue hosts everything from Racing 92 matches and major concerts to trade shows, corporate conventions and conferences, thanks to a retractable roof, retractable stands and spaces that can be reconfigured to suit requirements.
Capacity and spaces
The complex as a whole covers a total surface area of around 94,000 sqm, including the arena, office spaces and student housing. For professional events, the venue offers modular spaces that can be reconfigured according to the nature of the event.
Access and transport
The venue is served by the RER A (La Défense and Nanterre Préfecture stations) and by metro line 1 (La Défense terminus). Numerous parking spaces are available throughout the La Défense district.
Services
The site features catering facilities, including a brasserie and a restaurant, as well as shops. For accommodation, the dense hotel offering of the La Défense district is just a few minutes' walk away.
