Who exhibits
Typical profile
The official nomenclature falls into three families. The first, mountain development and ski area management, covers ski lifts, snowmaking and piste maintenance, snow clearing, piste safety, snow groomers, ticketing and access control, signage, four-season leisure facilities (mountain biking, summer toboggan runs, zip lines, via ferrata), energy, water and mobility. The second, tourism marketing and customer experience, brings together agencies and providers of sales, customer relationship management, content and digital signage solutions. The third covers services: banks, insurers, recruitment, training, research, trade federations and media.
The formats on offer range from individual stands, equipped or bare, to shared spaces for start-ups; the 2021 price list also provided an outdoor area for machinery and constructed buildings. The Exhibit page shows more than 360 exhibitors and brands, including 25 start-ups.
Notable exhibitors
The exhibitor search engine published on the website covers the 2025 edition; the 2027 list is not online yet. In 2025 it included major names in cable transport and snow, Poma, Doppelmayr, Leitner, MND and TechnoAlpin, the snow groomer manufacturer Prinoth and AllTracks Engineering, a specialist in refurbishing grooming machines, the ticketing and access control specialists Skidata and Axess, as well as Feratel (webcams) and Lumiplan (real-time information). Digital players in the resort sector, such as Bluecime or DigiSnow, and industry bodies such as France Montagnes and the Cluster Montagne rounded out the line-up. The full list of exhibitors is available on the official website.
Visitor quality
The show targets resort decision-makers: ski area operators, mayors and elected officials in charge of development and tourism, tourist office managers, inter-municipal bodies, tourism development agencies, marketing and IT directors. It is also aimed at design consultancies, architects, developers, accommodation providers, ski schools and rental companies.
According to the organiser's survey of 2025 exhibitors, 93% said they were satisfied with the show and 96% with the quality of the visitors. Attendance is reported by the organiser, with no OJS certification or published third-party audit.
Events & community
Mountain Next, the resort summit
The show comes with a programme of conferences and round tables, Mountain Next, presented as the National Summit of Ski Resorts and Mountain Tourism. The website announces the 9th summit for 2027; its programme and registration are announced as coming online soon, with a displayed entry fee of €110 excl. VAT.
The 2025 edition shows the format: two separate days, the first for elected officials, local authorities, operators and investors, the second for tourist offices and marketing professionals. It was chaired by Jean-Luc Boch, president of the ANMSM and France Montagnes, Fabrice Pannekoucke, president of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, and Anne Marty, president of Domaines Skiables de France. The debates covered new management models, changes in water resources, decarbonisation, the positioning of resorts and the impact of artificial intelligence on tourism marketing. The highlight of 2025 was the conference "JO2030 Top Départ", with Edgar Grospiron, president of the organising committee for the 2030 Winter Games.
Also in 2025, the SkiDebrief, an end-of-season review organised by UNION sport & cycle and previously held in resort, took place in Chambéry as part of the show. Nothing yet indicates whether it will return in 2027.
Ateliers Experts Digi-Solutions
Sessions of 45 minutes, case studies, feedback and presentations of digital solutions, followed by a discussion with the audience. Access is free for show visitors and Mountain Next participants. The 2027 programme is due online from February 2027, with registration online or at the entrance to the workshops, subject to availability. Exhibitors and non-exhibitors alike can propose a workshop.
Mountain Tourism Awards
The Mountain Tourism Awards recognise the achievements of mountain resorts and regions. The Awards page lists six categories: customer experience, tourism adaptation and diversification, sustainable tourist accommodation, zero-carbon mountain, digital communication campaign, and events in the mountains. Entry is free and open to local authorities, operators, tourist offices and suppliers. The 2027 awards ceremony is set for Wednesday 31 March 2027 at 7pm, at the exhibition centre. In 2025, for the 8th edition of the Awards, the jury gave 8 awards from 62 entries.
Eductour and community
The day before the show, an Eductour takes teams from more distant mountain ranges to an Alpine resort: the Pyrenees, Jura, Vosges, Massif Central and Southern Alps. Savoiexpo covers the day, the hotel night and show entry, up to 50 participants and two per resort. Les Saisies hosted it in 2023 and Valloire in 2025; the 2027 host resort has not been announced.
In 2025, a networking evening for resort decision-makers extended the first day, open to exhibitors, visitors and members of the ANMSM, Domaines Skiables de France, France Montagnes, Savoie Mont Blanc Tourisme, Afmont, the CCI, the Cluster Montagne and the ADSP. The website also offers Alpinews, a newsletter with professional news from the resorts.
For the press, accreditation requests must be submitted before 15 March 2027.
On site: what you need to know
The show takes place at the Parc des Expositions Savoiexpo, 1725 avenue du Grand Ariétaz in Chambéry. By road, the urban expressway leads to exit 15, SavoiExpo / Le Phare. The Savoiexpo website dedicated to the venue also gives public transport access: rail services to Chambéry Challes-les-Eaux station (Paris by TGV in 3 hours), bus line 4 (stop Le Phare / Parc Expo) and line C (stop Bissières), blue cycle path no. 1 (stop Le Phare) with bicycle parking, and 2,200 parking spaces on site.
Opening hours: Wednesday 31 March 2027 from 9am to 7pm, Thursday 1 April 2027 from 9am to 5pm. Entry is by exhibitor or visitor badge; badge download from an invitation is announced as coming online soon.
The calendar changes from previous editions: 2023 and 2025 were held at the end of April, and the 2027 edition moves to the end of March.

Planning your visit
For exhibitors
- Watch for the opening of online registration and the 2027 technical book, both announced as coming online soon on the exhibitor documents page.
- Ask for the 2027 price list before budgeting: the only price list online dates from 2021.
- Propose an Ateliers Experts Digi-Solutions session: it is open to exhibitors and non-exhibitors and gives you 45 minutes in front of tourism marketing decision-makers.
- Enter the Mountain Tourism Awards with a client resort: entry is free, but online registration is not open yet, and the awards ceremony brings the industry together on the first evening.
For decision-maker visitors
- Choose your Mountain Next day according to your profile: in 2025, the first day was aimed at elected officials and operators, the second at tourist offices and marketing.
- Book your place at the Ateliers as soon as registration opens in February 2027, as places are limited.
- For a resort in the Pyrenees, Jura, Vosges, Massif Central or Southern Alps, ask the organiser about the 2027 Eductour.
- Plan for two days: the show closes at 7pm on the first day and 5pm on the second.
CSR policy & initiatives
Savoiexpo and its subsidiary Savoiexpo Événements, which operates the exhibition centre, are certified ISO 20121:2012, the responsible management standard for the events industry. The certification was issued by Bureau Veritas on 22 July 2024, valid until 2027, with annual follow-up audits. The programme, called "SAVOIEXPO S'ENGAGE", covers the formalisation of procedures, waste reuse and sorting, the use of providers that promote social inclusion and purchasing from local suppliers.
The organiser has since announced several projects: a solar canopy project whose announced deadline was 2026, better reception for people with disabilities and a responsible purchasing policy. No public report yet makes it possible to verify whether they have been delivered, and no carbon footprint specific to the show is published.
On substance, the transition of resorts is at the heart of the content: a "Montagne Zéro Carbone" category at the Awards, the Mountain Next 2025 debates on decarbonisation and water resources, and an ecological and energy transition heading in the exhibitor nomenclature. In 2023, the trophies were made of oak by a workshop in Haute-Savoie, in line with Savoiexpo's commitment to local expertise and plastic reduction.

Trajectory analysis
Attendance has risen with every edition since 2021: 3,700 visitors that year, 4,150 in 2023, a record at the time, then 4,490 in 2025. The number of exhibitors and brands, meanwhile, has levelled off at around 360 since 2023, which suggests the show has reached its cruising size in the Chambéry exhibition centre and now grows through its audience.
The show has been built by adding formats around the exhibitor floor: the Digital Montagne world for destination marketing, the Mountain Next summit, the Awards, then the Eductour from 2023 and the tie-in with UNION sport & cycle's SkiDebrief in 2025. The website presents it as the chance to meet resort decision-makers at the time when they review the winter and prepare the next season.
Its main point of comparison is Mountain Planet, in Grenoble, also held every two years, with its next edition announced for 11 to 13 April 2028 at Alpexpo. Alpipro Digital Montagne takes place in odd-numbered years in Chambéry, Mountain Planet in even-numbered years in Grenoble. For a mountain development supplier, Alpipro Digital Montagne stands out for its focus on public decision-makers and tourism marketing.
