Key takeaways
- ENVIROpro Nord Douai is the professional trade show for environmental and energy solutions held in Douai for the north of France: water, energy, waste, air, risks, soils, mobility, urban development, green building, CSR and biodiversity under one roof, aimed at public and private organisations.
- Next edition: 2028, at Gayant Expo Douai, the Douai Gayant exhibition centre, route de Tournai. Free entry with a badge.
- The days remain to be confirmed. The trade show's presentation page announces 18-19 June 2028, but these days fall on a Sunday and a Monday, whereas previous editions were held midweek, and they repeat the days of the 2025 edition. The practical information page and the organiser's website show only "2028": it is better to wait for the organiser's confirmation before blocking out a diary.
- Organiser: NexFairs, a company based in Villeneuve-sur-Lot that runs the ENVIROpro series in several French regions. No co-organiser.
- Irregular rhythm in Douai: June 2023, presented by the organiser as the first edition in the Hauts-de-France; June 2025, second edition, whose closing message announces "more than 3,500 participants"; then 2028.
- Not to be confused with: the ENVIROpro Nord brand also stops in Dunkirk, on 9-10 June 2027, at Le Kursaal congress centre. These are two separate trade shows, in two different cities.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The organiser describes its exhibitors as manufacturers and distributors of equipment and materials, or service providers, who address the environmental challenges of private players (industry, construction, agriculture, tourism, transport, logistics, retail, services) and public ones (towns and cities, local authorities, administrations, territories).
The offer is organised into eleven families: water; energy; waste and cleanliness; air and odours; risks and nuisances; mobility; urban development; green building; polluted sites and soils; biodiversity and natural environments; other environmental products, services or themes. The detailed nomenclature, still marked "Informations bientôt disponibles" (information coming soon) and presented as a non-exhaustive list, goes down to specific items: hydrogen, bioenergies, asbestos, recycling and reuse, desalination or flood protection.
The website displays exhibitor numbers that are undated and do not relate to any particular edition: they are not repeated here. Nor does it publish a dated exhibitor report for past editions.
Notable exhibitors
The exhibitor list for the 2028 edition is not yet online: the website states that it is published on average one month before the trade show and invites visitors to contact the organiser for the list of exhibitors registered so far. It will be available on the official exhibitor page, sorted by solution family and by business sector.
For the first edition, in June 2023, Le Journal des Entreprises named among the announced exhibitors large regional groups such as Ramery and Vanheede Environnement, and start-ups such as Swoop Energy and Les Alchimistes.
Visitor quality
The trade show is aimed at public and private organisations and targets the roles in charge of environmental policy: management and elected officials; environment, CSR, QHSE, sustainability, energy, waste and water roles; quality, health and safety; engineering consultancies; project management; purchasing, sourcing and human resources; technical, production, R&D, innovation and maintenance roles; logistics, transport and fleet management.
The sectors invited cover towns and territories, industry, construction, infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, retail, logistics and transport, hospitals and healthcare, mines and quarries, and services. To justify the choice of Douai, the organiser highlights the position of the Hauts-de-France at the heart of the Paris-Brussels-London triangle and a pool of more than 680,000 active establishments within two hours of Douai. No OJS certification or third-party audit of attendance is published.
Programme & community
Conference programme
A cycle of conferences on environmental themes is open to all visitors. The programme for the 2028 edition has not yet been published: the organiser puts it online about one month before the trade show. Conference, round-table or workshop slots are open to exhibitors, subject to availability.
The programme published ahead of the 2025 edition gives a sense of the tone: two conference spaces, plus a REV3 space where the CCI (chamber of commerce and industry) and the Hauts-de-France Region announced animations and flash workshops all day. Across the two days, the line-up included energy production in cities with ROOFUP, measuring the contamination of aquatic environments by caging gammarids with the BIOMAE laboratory, photovoltaic self-consumption and storage with Solstyce, equipping sites for electric mobility with Mobilize Power Solutions, artificial intelligence and cobotics in waste sorting with NextWaste, micropollutant detection with ViewPoint, the decarbonisation of industries with Pôlénergie and Ferest energies, territorial anaerobic digestion (methanisation) with CVE Biogaz and goods transport in cities with Logistic Low Carbon, as well as a daily round table on sustainable mobility and fleet decarbonisation. The inauguration, with speeches by elected officials, was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
Announced highlights
The presentation page for the Douai trade show, whose text repeats almost word for word that of the 2025 edition, announces a start-up village, a village devoted to sustainable mobility with vehicles, charging points and a test track, a village dedicated to preventing natural risks (floods, fires, ground movements), a Fresques village for awareness-raising workshops, an associations corner, the ENVIROpro Show, a forum where political figures, manufacturers, associations and federations present their initiatives, a jobs wall and a press area.
The Les + ENVIROpro page adds a new-products area located on a compulsory route for visitors and a free business-meeting service between visitors and exhibitors, whose platform opens about one month before the trade show. These highlights remain to be confirmed for 2028.
Community & networks
The partners page of the Douai trade show lists some thirty specialist media outlets and networks, without linking them to a dated edition: Actu-Environnement, Environnement Magazine, Novethic, Orée, Construction 21, ID l'Info Durable and Le Journal des Entreprises, among others.
ENVIROpro operates as a series of regional trade shows run by the same organiser, with one listing per city: ENVIROpro Grand-Ouest in Angers (24-25 March 2027), ENVIROpro Sud-Ouest Toulouse (6-7 October 2027) and ENVIROpro Sud-Ouest Bordeaux (1-2 March 2028). For an exhibitor targeting a national or international market, Pollutec covers the same thematic field at a different scale (Lyon, 12-15 October 2027); ENVIROpro plays the regional-proximity card.
On site: what you need to know
The trade show is held at Gayant Expo Douai, the Douai Gayant exhibition centre, route de Tournai.
By car, the site is directly linked to the A1 (Paris, Lille), A2 (Paris, Valenciennes, Brussels), A21 (Lens, Valenciennes), A23 (Lille, Valenciennes), A25 (Dunkirk, Lille) and A26 (Calais, Reims) motorways. Visitor parking is free, with spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility. By train, Douai is 30 minutes from Lille, one hour from Paris and one hour from Brussels; from the station, bus line 4 serves Gayant Expo, on a network that has been free since January 2022. Lille-Lesquin airport is about twenty minutes away.
The official website offers a car-sharing platform (Covievent) and a calculator for the climate impact of the journey. For accommodation, the agency Revolugo is presented as the official partner for the 2028 edition and offers hotels at negotiated rates.
Opening hours for 2028 have not been published. In 2025, the trade show was open from 9am to 6pm on the first day and from 9am to 5pm on the second. The visitor badge is free; registration opens about one month before the trade show.
Planning your visit
For exhibitors
- Prices are not published: they are requested from the sales team via the website form. The organiser also mentions a special offer for start-ups less than two years old.
- According to the organiser, several tools are included in all packages: invitations by email, text message and post, a contact-scanning app, an appointment-booking module, a job-advert wall and six months of the Premium plan on the ENVIROpro connect directory. At a regional trade show, these tools serve first and foremost to bring in your own clients.
- Wait for the days to be confirmed before committing to transport and accommodation: only the year 2028 appears on the practical information page and on the organiser's website.
- For an offer aimed at industry and decarbonisation, compare with the Dunkirk stop (9-10 June 2027), which the organiser presents from the angle of industrial decarbonisation, batteries and hydrogen.
For decision-maker visitors
- Check the exact dates on the official website before making plans, then sign up for the badge-opening alert offered on the visitor badge page.
- Book your appointments through the dedicated platform as soon as it opens, one month before the trade show.
- Consult the exhibitor list by solution family as soon as it is published, and pick out in the programme the conferences related to your projects.
CSR policy & initiatives
The trade show publishes a page called Nos engagements (Our commitments). There the organiser states that it offsets its carbon emissions through several projects: planting paulownia trees in agroforestry with MANA in Occitanie, funding a wildflower fallow with EcoTree, and planting trees in the Ginestet forest with Nos Grandes Forêts. It also commits to reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions, managing the trade show's waste, adopting responsible catering, favouring responsible and eco-designed equipment, practising eco-communication and raising awareness among suppliers, partners, exhibitors and visitors.
These commitments are declarative and common to the whole series: they can also be found on the NexFairs website, which adds a wish to promote soft mobility. No quantified carbon footprint for the event and no ISO 20121 certification is published, and the exhibition centre's website highlights no environmental initiative by the venue.
As regards travel, the website points to a car-sharing platform and a climate impact calculator, and Gayant Expo is linked to the station by a bus line on a free network.
How the trade show has evolved
ENVIROpro came to Douai in June 2023, with an edition presented before the opening as "new to the north", then hailed by the organiser as a successful "1st edition in the Hauts-de-France". The second was held on 18-19 June 2025, at the same venue, over two days instead of three. The closing message displayed on the trade show's home page speaks of a "2nd rendez-vous" and "more than 3,500 participants", without distinguishing visitors from exhibitors, and links to a film of the edition. This figure is given without detail and without a published third-party audit; for 2023, the organiser spoke of a success without putting forward a figure.
| Edition | Dates | Venue | Published figures |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2028 (upcoming) | days to be confirmed (18-19 June 2028 announced on the presentation page) | Gayant Expo, Douai | upcoming |
| 2nd (2025) | 18-19 June 2025 | Gayant Expo, Douai | more than 3,500 participants (organiser's closing message) |
| 1st (2023) | 6-8 June 2023 | Gayant Expo, Douai | not published |

Trajectory analysis
The network has since expanded its presence in the North: the ENVIROpro Nord brand stops in Dunkirk in June 2027, ahead of the announced return to Douai in 2028. The organiser's calendar also announces Strasbourg (October 2026), Angers (March 2027), Toulouse (October 2027), then Bordeaux, Martigues, Rennes and Nancy in 2028.
The Douai presentation page repeats the 2025 text, including the "2nde édition" (2nd edition) wording already used for 2025: it says nothing reliable about the format or the rank of the 2028 edition. Only one dated attendance figure is published, that of 2025, and none for 2023: the progression between the two editions cannot be measured. The 2028 edition will also be judged against the Dunkirk stop, which the organiser presents as new to that city.
All data that does not mention its source comes from the organiser's website.
Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (enviropro-salon.com).
