Who exhibits

Typical profile

Eurosatory covers the whole of the land and air-land defence industry along with global security: land systems (armoured vehicles, artillery), soldier equipment, drones and robotics, C4ISR and communications, cyber defence, homeland security, ammunition, optronics, simulation, and MRO. The trade show brings together major prime contractors (Airbus Defence, Thales, KNDS, Nexter, MBDA, Dassault Aviation), equipment manufacturers, defence SMEs and mid-caps, deeptech start-ups (Eurosatory LAB) and government services.

Notable exhibitors

The trade show, which is strictly reserved for professionals, hosts the leading French and international defence groups. The list of exhibitors for the 2026 edition remains available on the official website: eurosatory.com/en/exhibitors2026. The 2028 list has not yet opened. In 2026, 2,633 exhibiting companies from 67 countries were present, compared with 2,028 from 61 countries in 2024 and 1,743 in 2022.

The organiser's 2026 post-show report highlights two underlying trends: the rise of Ukraine's defence industry, now the 5th most represented nation by number of exhibitors (87 exhibitors in 2026, up from 10 in 2024), and the arrival of civilian manufacturers in the defence sector, with Renault and Volkswagen cited by the organiser as the most emblematic examples of the edition.

Visitor quality

A strictly professional trade show reserved for industry players, state authorities, armed and security forces, and accredited journalists. The 2026 edition brought together 440 official delegations from 95 countries, joined by 82 homeland security delegations and twenty Defence ministers. The 2024 edition had hosted 355 official delegations from 92 countries. Strong presence from the Defence and Interior ministerial offices, the DGA (Direction Générale de l'Armement) and the European Commission (Defence and Space).

Activities & community

Conference programme

The 2026 edition hosted 150 conferences and keynotes and 400 international speakers, up from 120 conferences and more than 450 speakers in 2024. Among the speakers present in 2026, the official website lists Catherine Vautrin (Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans), Alice Rufo (Deputy Minister to the Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans), Patrick Pailloux (Délégué Général pour l'Armement, DGA), Andrius Kubilius (European Commissioner for Defence and Space), General Pierre Schill (Chief of Staff of the French Army) and Aija Kalnaja (Frontex, Deputy Executive Director for Capabilities). The 2028 conference programme has not been published.

Awards & recognition

The Concours Innovation GICAT, run by the group, recognises technologies that meet the operational needs of armed and security forces, across the fields of industrial start-ups, digital technologies (AI, cloud, quantum, space, cyber), electronics and robotics. Eurosatory also hosts a start-up competition whose winner receives a free stand in the Eurosatory LAB. In 2024, more than 60 French and international start-ups were present in the Eurosatory LAB (Hall 5A), with around twenty additional start-ups on the GICAT pavilion via the GENERATE programme (GICAT innovation accelerator).

Satellite events

Eurosatory LAB: a space dedicated to start-ups and technology companies, a technology showcase for armed forces and institutional decision-makers. In 2026, it covered more than 1,000 m² in Hall 5B and hosted more than 60 start-ups. Live dynamic demonstrations, entirely redesigned for the 2026 edition: trench combat, 3D drone manoeuvres, close-quarters battle (CQB). The HELPED immersive space, dedicated to a comprehensive approach to threats and crises, present since 2022. GENERATE programme (GICAT accelerator).

Community & networks

A global benchmark trade show for the land defence and security sector, Eurosatory brings together public procurement communities (DGA, foreign Defence ministries), industry players (the French defence technological and industrial base and allies), and armed and security forces.

International specialist press coverage (Defense News, Janes, Air & Cosmos, Forces Opérations Magazine, Mer & Marine, La Tribune Défense): the 2026 post-show report recorded 912 journalists. Official LinkedIn page: Eurosatory.

Review of the 2026 edition

The opening of Hall 4 brought the total exhibition space to more than 185,000 m², making 2026 the largest edition in the trade show's history. The dynamic demonstration zones had been entirely redesigned (trench combat, 3D drone manoeuvres, CQB).

The post-show report published by COGES Events on 13 July 2026, EUROSATORY 2026: the trade show that answers the new world order, identifies four key readings of the edition: the growing place of Ukraine's defence industry, the globalisation of conflict visible in the composition of pavilions and delegations, the opening of the defence technological and industrial base to civilian and deeptech players, and the convergence between military threats and homeland security threats. Emmanuel Levacher, President of GICAT, described it as an "exceptional success for this 29th edition". The next edition was announced there, from 19 to 23 June 2028 at the Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte.

Trajectory analysis

Eurosatory has shown steady growth since its move to Paris Nord Villepinte in 2002, with marked acceleration over the last three editions driven by the post-2022 geopolitical context (Ukraine, European rearmament, war economy). The 2026 edition (29th) broke the trade show's exhibitor record with 2,633 companies from 67 countries, close to 30% more than in 2024, in a space extended to more than 185,000 m² by the opening of Hall 4. Institutional mobilisation followed the same trend: 440 official delegations from 95 countries and twenty Defence ministers, compared with 355 delegations from 92 countries two years earlier.

The organiser's reading of this edition is one of an expanding defence technological and industrial base: the arrival of civilian manufacturers, the growing weight of deeptech and AI, and the spectacular rise of Ukraine's defence industry. The start-up ecosystem (Eurosatory LAB, GICAT's GENERATE programme) is taking on a growing role in this shift. For 2028, only the dates and venue have been announced at this stage. The exhibitor preparing to take part has just under two years, a margin worth putting in perspective: the 2026 edition sold out three months before it opened.

Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (eurosatory.com).
