Key points
- Gourmet Selection is the trade show for fine and quality grocery: producers and manufacturers of gourmet products present their ranges to delicatessens, wine merchants, cheesemongers, food-trade professionals, department stores and specialist distributors. The show has existed since 2009.
- Next edition: Sunday 13 to Monday 14 June 2027, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The practical information page gives Hall 7.2 and opening hours of 9.30am to 6.30pm.
- Organiser: Comexposium. The show belongs to the SIAL network, like SIAL Paris, and uses the signature “Gourmet Selection by SIAL”.
- Annual since 2023: September 2023, September 2024, September 2025, then June 2026, billed as the first “summer” edition. In 2026, the move to June came with a first-ever co-location with the Salon du Fromage et des Produits Laitiers (cheese and dairy products show).

- Strictly professionals only: paid admission, no one under 16.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The offer is arranged in five universes: savoury grocery, sweet grocery, wine and drinks, non-food, services. The 2026 press kit gives a slightly different breakdown, in five families: 48% savoury (charcuterie and cured meats, oils, vinegars and condiments, preserves, seafood products, dairy products, catering), 30% sweet (biscuits, chocolate, confectionery, jams, honeys), 15% drinks, 5% non-food and services (tableware, packaging, till solutions, insurance), 3% promotion bodies and press.
Exhibitors are producers and manufacturers looking to get into specialist retail outlets. In 2026, 37% of exhibitors were international and 13 countries were represented; according to the 2026 press kit, the top 5 outside France were Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Italy and Morocco. Admission is not automatic: each application is reviewed by the organiser, who says it pays particular attention to product quality.
Notable exhibitors
The 2027 exhibitor list has not yet been published. The site keeps the 2026 exhibitor list.
The 2026 Best Of competition winners give an idea of the quality of the offer: Best of Best went to Pellorce & Jullien for its Marrons Verveine gift box, and the Jury's Favourite to Bricelet Maison Orset. Other winners included Maison Vertueux in chocolate, Confiserie du Roy René in sweet grocery, La Falaise qui Rougit in seafood products, Wright Tea in non-alcoholic drinks and Milhe et Avons in non-food.
Visitor quality
The visitors come from specialist retail. The show's exhibitor page breaks them down as follows, without stating the year of measurement: 49% delicatessens, 24% food-trade professionals, 16% specialist distribution, 8% producers and 3% restaurants.
The circle is widening towards large-scale retail and travel retail. The organiser lists brands and companies present in 2026, including La Grande Épicerie de Paris, El Corte Inglés, Lagardère Travel Retail, Metro, Monoprix, Picard, Pomona, Nature & Découvertes, Air France and the Centre des Monuments Nationaux.
The international share is growing: 15% foreign visitors in 2025, 22% in 2026, from 72 countries according to the organiser's results. No independent audit of attendance is published.
Events and community
Conference programme
The Agora des Experts is the conference and round-table space, free for all visitors. In 2026, the programme covered merchandising, revenue growth, digital marketing, customer experience, responsible sourcing and e-invoicing, with a talk on 2026 trends in quality grocery and a round table listed in the programme on pairing grocery and cheese. The 2027 programme had not been published at the time of writing.
Competitions and awards
Three distinctions structure the show. The Best Of competition rewards exhibitors' new products; it has been chaired for several editions by Vincent Ferniot, and the jury tasted nearly 150 products on 19 May 2026. Since 2025, Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet has been involved in the competition: in 2026, eight products received a special prize and a listing in the Le Gourmet store.
The Meilleure Épicerie de France (Best Delicatessen in France), for which the Fédération des Épiciers de France is a partner, rewards retail outlets. The 2026 gold medal went to Le Comptoir des Volontaires, the shop of the Comptoir Corrézien, in Paris. The Prix Initiatives Entreprises, created in 2026 with Le Monde de l'Épicerie Fine, rewards companies for their overall approach; its first edition recognised La Plantation, a spice house from Cambodia.
Spaces for young brands
In 2026, according to the 2026 press kit, two spaces were opened to newcomers: the Place des Comptoirs, where 8 companies presented their products, and the Sentier des Découvertes, which showcased 35 brands taking their first steps at the show. L'Épicerie de Gourmet, a pop-up shop created in 2023 at the heart of the show, lets exhibitors present their products in real selling conditions.
Community and networks
Partners shown on the site include Ankorstore, the show's partner marketplace, the Épiciers de France, Le Monde de l'Épicerie Fine, Saveurs Commerce, Petits Commerces, Gondola, Delicatesse, Stockfood and Saber y Sabor.
On the buyer side, the Top Buyers programme offers a free badge and access to the Business Lounge for decision-makers selected on application. The Business Meetings service, free for every registered visitor, lets you plan meetings on exhibitors' stands.
On site: what you need to know
The show takes place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, in Hall 7.2 according to the practical information page, on Sunday 13 and Monday 14 June 2027, from 9.30am to 6.30pm.
Getting there: metro line 12 (Porte de Versailles) and line 8 (Balard), trams T2 and T3a (Porte de Versailles, Parc des Expositions), buses 80 and 39. By car, take the Porte de Versailles exit from the ring road; the exhibition centre car parks are at gates F and R. Bnetwork is the show's official accommodation agency.
Admission is paid. 2027 ticketing was not open when this was written. For reference, the 2026 price list offered a free two-day ticket during a short opening window, then €15, €30 and €60 incl. VAT during the days of the show: the price rose as the show approached. Tickets are personal and non-refundable, and ID may be requested at the entrance. The cloakroom is paid, except for VIP and Top Buyer tickets.
How much does it cost to exhibit
The site describes four fully equipped stand packages, without publishing their prices, which are obtained through a simulation in the customer area. The Starter, Discovery and Essential modules include an exhibitor pack (catalogue, invitations, badges, entry in the Best Of competition), carpet, partitions, signage, cleaning and insurance; the Comptoir Gourmet has its own content (counter, personalised backdrop, registration fee, insurance).
- Starter module, 4 m², for companies less than 3 years old.
- Discovery module, 6 m², for a first participation.
- Essential module, 9 to 36 m², with electrical box, display counter, furniture and storage on request.
- Comptoir Gourmet, a turnkey offer for start-ups less than a year and a half old, on application to the selection committee and available only once.

Planning your visit
For exhibitors
- Choose the module according to your company's age: Starter and Comptoir Gourmet are reserved for young companies, Discovery for a first participation.
- Enter a new product in the Best Of competition, included in the exhibitor pack: the winners are published in the organiser's press releases and, for some, lead to a listing at Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet.
- Prepare meetings in advance: the Business Meetings platform opens requests ahead of the show, the 2027 date not being specified, and meetings take place on the stands.
For decision-maker visitors
- Apply to the Top Buyers programme if you are a buyer or a company head: free badge, lounge and targeted meetings, subject to acceptance.
- Buy your ticket early: in 2026, the price went from free to €60 over the weeks.
- Start with the spaces dedicated to new brands and with the Best Of winners to spot products that do not yet have distribution.
CSR policy and initiatives
The show's site has no dedicated CSR section and publishes neither a carbon footprint nor an ISO 20121 certification specific to the event. Its only visible environmental contribution is a transport impact calculator, offered with ADEME on the access page.
At group level, Comexposium states, in its 2026 results press release, that it was awarded the RSE Positive Company® label in 2025, covering Comexposium SAS and Comexposium One to One. The group also publishes an engagement strategy called ALL INvolved, in ten initiatives, including a carbon reduction trajectory aligned with the UFI's Net Zero Carbon Events project; the published figures cover the group's corporate scope, excluding events.
As for the venue, Viparis, operator of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, states that in 2014 it was the world's first events operator certified ISO 20121 across all its sites and activity; Paris Expo Porte de Versailles renewed this certification, according to a Viparis news item from February 2026.
In substance, responsible sourcing has entered the show's topics: it was on the Agora des Experts programme in 2026, and the Prix Initiatives Entreprises counts responsible sourcing and manufacturing, and territorial, environmental or social commitment among its criteria. This is editorial content and competition criteria, not a commitment by the organiser on the show's footprint.

Trajectory analysis
Attendance has risen without interruption since 2023: 4,300 professionals in 2023, 4,550 in 2024, 5,350 in 2025, 5,500 in 2026. The number of exhibitors follows a different path. After 328 exhibitors in 2023 and 302 in 2024, it rose to 360 in 2025, then fell back to 270 in 2026, the year of the move from September to June. The organiser has not commented on this decline; the share of new exhibitors (50% in 2026) remains close to that of earlier editions (47% in 2023, 42% in 2024).
This change of date is the defining fact of the period. In 2026, Gourmet Selection was held at the same time as the Salon du Fromage et des Produits Laitiers (7 to 9 June, against 7 and 8 June for Gourmet Selection); according to the organiser's results, many visitors took advantage of this proximity to visit both shows, which helped widen the audience. The Salon du Fromage et des Produits Laitiers reports 7,600 visitors of its own: this figure is specific to that show and is not added to Gourmet Selection's 5,500 professionals.
For a fine-food producer, the show remains human-sized: visitors say in the 2024 results that they could go round it in a day. Its value lies less in volume than in the concentration of specialist-trade buyers, now joined by large-scale retail and travel retail brands. The target of 300 exhibitors announced for 2027 will show whether the June format climbs back towards the 360 exhibitors of 2025.
