Agoris analysis · updated November 2026

Key facts

  • Les Nautiques de Port Camargue is a boat show for new and used boats with free admission, held every Easter weekend on the technical zones of the Le Grau-du-Roi marina. It is a selling show open to the public, not a show reserved for professionals: the organiser speaks of "professionnels et particuliers" (professionals and private individuals) among its visitors, without publishing the share of each. For a professional, the interest lies in exhibiting in front of boaters who come to buy.
  • Next edition: the 33rd, from Friday 26 to Monday 29 March 2027, 10am to 6pm, at Port Camargue, in Le Grau-du-Roi. Free admission.
  • Organiser: Association Les Nautiques, a French association under the 1901 law made up of nautical professionals from Port Camargue and chaired by Jean-Luc Glad. No co-organiser. Annual frequency. Official website: lesnautiques.com.
  • Figures announced by the organiser for the 2026 edition: 45,000 visitors "expected" and 250 exhibitors (2026 brochure), which the website repeats without a date for 2027. These are announcements, not final results: no audited count is published.
  • Two themed areas are announced for 2027: the 5th edition of the Art de Vivre en Marina and the 2nd edition of Pêche en Mer.
  • Exhibitor admission files are open. The process starts with a 2027 professional exhibitor pre-application, to be returned by email.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

The core offer is boat sales: sailing boats, catamarans and motor boats, shown on land and afloat, new and used. Around it, the show's directory brings together the aftersales and equipment trades: deck hardware, rigging, sailmaking and upholstery, marine electronics, mechanics and engines, maintenance and repair, insurance and financing, marine surveying, boat licence schools, boat rental.

Three other circles widen the show. The Art de Vivre en Marina is aimed at owners of houses with a boat berth: interior and exterior design and decoration, landscaping, spas and pools, pontoon equipment, estate agents specialising in marinas, soft mobility. Pêche en Mer, created in 2026 under a marquee, brings together tackle brands, electronics and fishing guides. There are also dealers of hybrid or electric vehicles, catering and associations.

The show also welcomes private individuals selling their own boat, with a separate pre-application form. A dealer therefore sits directly alongside the private used-boat offer.

Notable exhibitors

The website publishes a directory of professional exhibitors, but it is undated and appears to match the 2026 configuration: it does not confirm anything for 2027.

The 2026 press kit names boats and their distributors: Nauti Cap (Sun Odyssey 415, Prestige F4.3), Sillage (Dufour 37), Exel Yachting (Tofinou 7.9), Technic Marine Plaisance (Oceanis 30.1, Antares 12 Coupé), Yès (Bali 4.2), Bertrand Marine (Bayliner V20), Constance Boat (Delphia 12) and Pabich Marine (Pacific Craft 7,50). For the Pêche en Mer village, it announced Daiwa France, Navicom, Shimano France, Boat Fishing Equipements and Kuruk.

Visitor quality

The surveys published in the 2026 brochure relate to 2025: 52% of visitors make purchases, only 51% own boats, and 96% of exhibitors say they are satisfied with the show. These are the organiser's figures, with no third-party audit. The second is the most useful to an exhibitor: nearly one visitor in two does not yet own a boat, which makes the show a place for winning new customers as much as for renewal.

The catchment area extends beyond the region. The same brochure states that 29% of visitors come from Occitanie, 64% from other French regions and 7% from other countries. The leading regions outside Occitanie are Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (12%), Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (11%), Centre-Val de Loire (8%) and Île-de-France (7%). This breakdown is undated.

Marina owners form a distinct audience: Port Camargue has 2,239 marinas, homes tied to a boat berth. The 2026 brochure reports 150 marina property transfers in 2025, a turnover of owners that directly interests the exhibitors of the Art de Vivre en Marina village.

Events & community

Conference programme

The 2027 programme had not been published at the time of writing. The 2026 one, published before the edition, shows the format: talks in a dedicated tipi and on an entertainment podium, with a marked employment strand. Friday 3 April 2026 was due to be devoted to discovering nautical and port trades, followed by a session on jobs, training and career changes with France Travail. Sessions on discovering the maritime heritage were scheduled from Saturday to Monday. The Lycée Jules-Raimu in Nîmes did take part in the edition to present its vocational baccalaureate in boat maintenance, according to Midi Libre of 5 April 2026.

Workshops and demonstrations

The most useful format for an exhibitor is the workshop held on its own stand, which the 2026 official catalogue lists company by company. AD Nautic announced Garmin electronics, rope work and re-engining; Vega Voiles sail trimming at sea and rigging; Sillage, with LIZmer, boat financing; AMT the Mercury and Volvo Penta ranges; Yes Big Ship safety equipment and the choice of antifouling; Cap Pas Cap the coastal, inland and offshore boat licences; Seadek France and A-Gréement their specialities. A workshop brings the visitor to the stand with a specific question.

On the entertainment side, the 2026 programme announced power foil demonstrations on the water, a visit to the SNSM lifeboat, a big-game fishing simulator, and the YouTubers Tim Fish and the Toc brothers in the two pools of the Pêche en Mer village.

Community & networks

The show is run by its own exhibitors: the association's board, as displayed on the website in October 2026, comprises Jean-Luc Glad (president), Mireille Gamarra (AMT, vice-president), Julien Argoud (Euro Nautic, vice-president), Alain Bourrust (Sillage, treasurer) and Bertrand Laquerbe (Bertrand Marine, secretary). A general meeting is announced for January 2027. This governance gives the show a sound knowledge of the trade. For an outside brand, it also means that the counterpart is a collective of local professionals, some of whom sell in the same market.

The 2026 brochure lists as partners the Town of Le Grau-du-Roi, the Régie de Port Camargue, the Occitanie Region, the Parlement de la Mer, the Gard Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Terre de Camargue community of municipalities, the Gard departmental council, the Fédération des industries nautiques, France Travail Pro, Nauti Campus and the Lycée Jules-Raimu.

On the press side, Ici Gard Lozère, Delta FM and Objectif Gard are among the 2026 partners. The partners page also links to Midi Libre, Voiles et Voiliers, Voile Magazine and Moteur Boat Magazine.

On site: what to know

The show occupies the three technical zones of Port Camargue, with the Art de Vivre en Marina village added, and more than 3.5 km of walking along quays and pontoons according to the 2026 catalogue. The website announces catering points in each village of the show (restaurants, food trucks) and the restaurants on the Quai d'Honneur. The reference address is Zone technique 1, Port Camargue, 30240 Le Grau-du-Roi.

By car, take exit 26 of the A9 (Gallargues), then follow signs to Aigues-Mortes, Le Grau-du-Roi and Port Camargue. The website lists a free visitor car park at 201 route de l'Espiguette, from where free shuttles run to the show. By train, the stations are Le Grau-du-Roi, Montpellier and Nîmes. The airports are Montpellier and Nîmes. By sea, the website gives the position 43° 31.2 N, 004° 07.5 E.

The show is open from 10am to 6pm on all four days. For accommodation, the website refers to the tourist office (letsgrau.com). To host clients away from the stand, the port authority presents the Yacht Club de Port Camargue as a complex of 6 rooms and more than 1,000 m² that can be privately hired.

How much does it cost to exhibit

Association Les Nautiques publishes no price list online: the full admission file is sent after the pre-application. The amounts below are indicative orders of magnitude drawn up by Agoris for a show of this format. They are in no way the official prices of Les Nautiques.
Poste de dépenseFourchette basseFourchette haute
Space and stand under a marquee, fit-out and electricity (4 days, on quotation)€1,500€12,000
Boat display on land or afloat: handling, launching, delivery€500€8,000
Staff on site, accommodation and meals (4 days)€1,500€6,000
Communication, client invitations and sales materials€300€3,000
INDICATIVE TOTAL (4 days)~€3,800~€29,000

The range mainly reflects the number of boats displayed and how they are shown. A company already based at Port Camargue does not have the same travel costs as an outside brand. Prices to be requested from the association.

Planning your visit

For the exhibitor

  • Download the 2027 pre-application from the contact page, which carries the up-to-date form, and return it to lesnautiques@orange.fr for boats and equipment. The page also assigns this address to Pêche en Mer, and contactavm@lesnautiques.com to the Art de Vivre en Marina.
  • Choose your village before costing: boats, equipment, Art de Vivre en Marina and Pêche en Mer do not target the same buyer.
  • Prepare an offer for first-time buyers: according to the organiser's 2025 figures, nearly half of visitors do not own a boat. Financing, licences, berth and getting to grips with the boat are part of the sale.
  • Offer a workshop on the stand, along the lines of those listed in the 2026 catalogue.
  • Handle appointment bookings in advance: the website invites visitors to contact exhibitors directly to view the boats.

For the decision-maker visitor

  • Contact exhibitors before the show or on site to arrange visits on board, as the website recommends.
  • Allow plenty of time: more than 3.5 km of walking in 2026, across several zones.
  • Use the workshops to compare engine, electronics and financing solutions from several professionals on the same day.
  • Aim for Friday for the employment and training strand if the 2027 programme repeats the 2026 format, which remains to be confirmed.

CSR policy & initiatives

Neither the show's website nor its documents publish a formal CSR policy, a carbon footprint assessment or ISO 20121 certification. The association, a local body, has no group programme either. In the message published on the website, the president states an intention: to drive the "Verdissement du Nautisme et de La Plaisance" (the greening of boating and yachting) and to join the regional challenge in Occitanie, with no published quantified target.

The show's content does cover these subjects, however. The Seaquarium du Grau-du-Roi raises public awareness of marine environment protection there, and the CPIE Bassin de Thau is listed in the directory for its eco-gestures campaign. The 2025 press kit announced eco-responsible navigation as one of the conference themes. This is programming, not a commitment on how the show itself is run.

The venue provides the most concrete guarantees: the port authority presents Port Camargue as holding the Blue Flag since its creation and certified Ports Propres actifs en biodiversité. These labels concern the port, not the event.

On the social side, the show does real work on employment: sessions with France Travail, the presence of the Lycée Jules-Raimu and Nauti Campus, and the discovery of trades.

Trajectory analysis

The figures do not allow any evolution to be measured: the 250 exhibitors are repeated identically from document to document, and an announcement relayed by Occitanie Tribune in 2019 already quoted them. They should be read as orders of magnitude, especially as no results are published after the event. In his message for the 30th edition, the president gives a more concrete benchmark: security provided for more than 40,000 people over four days.

The visible change is in the offer. According to the 2024 press kit, the history goes back to the Equinoxe show, created in 1978, and the current show settled on the technical zones after 2002. The Art de Vivre en Marina opened in 2023, ahead of the Pêche en Mer village in 2026, with the stated ambition of making it a national reference for leisure fishing. Both areas extend the show beyond the boat buyer.

This shift also responds to the market. In Midi Libre of 29 March 2026, Jean-Luc Glad described a difficult climate for boating and stock to be cleared, while the show's commissioner, Agnès Hefling, felt that selling a boat is no longer enough. As the show is held at Easter, its date moves every year, from late March to the second half of April: a point for any exhibitor to check when timing early-season deliveries.

The dates of the 2028 edition had not been announced at the time of writing.
