Key takeaways
- One to One Retail E-Commerce brings together in Monaco, every year, retail and e-commerce decision-makers, called "guests", and solution providers, called "partners", around pre-scheduled business meetings, conferences and networking time.
- This is not an open trade show: guests are selected on application and must demonstrate an investment project, and partners are selected by an editorial committee. The visitor does not buy a ticket, they request an invitation.
- Next edition: the 16th, from Tuesday 9 to Thursday 11 March 2027, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
- Organiser: Comexposium One to One, a subsidiary of the Comexposium group, which has been designing its One to One events for more than 30 years.
- Annual frequency, in March. Founded in 2011, the event celebrated its fifteenth anniversary at the 2026 edition, the 15th, held 10-12 March 2026, which brought together more than 2,000 decision-makers in Monaco according to the organiser.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
Exhibitors are called partners. The organiser states that it selects more than 200 solution providers each year, chosen by an editorial committee for the relevance of their offer to retailers' needs. The offer is broken down into families: marketing, acquisition and conversion; customer experience and loyalty; logistics, supply chain and transport; tech infrastructure and cybersecurity; payment and fintech; data and analytics; content, UX and personalisation; e-commerce platforms; point of sale.
Each partner has a turnkey stand that serves as a meeting space. The core of their participation is a schedule of 30-minute One to One meetings with guests, prepared on a matchmaking platform that opens a month before the event.
Notable exhibitors
The Confirmed exhibitors page of the official website did not yet list any partners for the 2027 edition at the time of writing. It is the page to check as March 2027 approaches.
Visitor quality
This is the central argument of the format. Guests are C-level decision-makers: e-commerce directors, CMOs, CEOs, and directors of data, innovation, supply chain or merchandising, working at online retailers, pure players, DNVBs, major brands or distributors. The organiser states that 100% of participating decision-makers demonstrate an investment project, and that invitation requests are reviewed within 7 days by a dedicated team.
The sectors represented cover the whole of consumer spending: furniture and DIY, automotive, luxury, mass retail, banking and insurance, cosmetics, fashion, electronics and telecoms. The organiser announces more than 1,000 C-level guests at each edition.
No third-party audit of attendance is published. The key figures displayed on the homepage while the 2027 edition was being prepared, with no year specified, report 8,200 One to One meetings, 1,150 retailers and e-commerce players, 213 solution-provider partners and 85 conferences, keynotes and workshops.
Programme & community
Conference programme
The programme is built by an editorial committee around an annual theme. In 2026, it was titled "Mutations", with the subtitle "Les nouveaux codes d'un commerce à trois voix": the relationship between brand and customer becomes a three-way relationship, with artificial intelligence agents stepping in as intermediaries.
The 2026 formats give a sense of the range: partner keynotes, smart talks, customer case study workshops, plenary conferences, retailer round tables, meet-ups devoted to soft skills, and two-minute startup pitches. Replays of the three days are available online. The 2027 theme and programme had not been published at the time of writing, and the speakers page was empty.
The Village Startups
Twenty startups are selected by a jury to occupy a dedicated space at the heart of the event. To apply, a company must be less than 5 years old and must never have taken part as an exhibiting partner. In 2026, three awards were given: the Prix de la Communauté, voted for by guests and partners, the Prix du Jury, and the Prix de la Mode, voted for by a jury of members of the Fédération du Prêt-à-Porter Féminin. Applications for 2027 were not yet open.
Le Before
Created in 2022, Le Before is a private, invitation-only event for retail and e-commerce executives that precedes the opening: a masterclass and dinner the evening before, followed by collaborative workshops the next morning. The dedicated page announces it for 8 and 9 March 2027. The organiser describes it as bringing together 80 executives, 10 partner companies represented by their executive, and 10 speakers. For partners, access goes through a specific package, reserved for one person at chair or C-level.
Community & networks
The website lists a set of media and institutional partners, including Fevad, Forrester, Stratégies, La Tribune, INfluencia, Digital Mag, E-commerce Nation and Ecommercemag.fr.
Comexposium One to One runs the same format in other sectors. In Monaco, the Comexposium group also organises Les Assises de la cybersécurité and Ready For IT. For an open trade show format covering all commerce professionals, the other fixture on the calendar is NRF Retail's Big Show Europe in Paris.
On site: what you need to know
Meetings, conferences and lunches are held at the Grimaldi Forum, 10 avenue Princesse Grace in Monaco. Evening events move to other venues in the Principality: in 2026, the second evening was held at the Sporting Monte-Carlo. Attendees are put up in around ten partner hotels listed on the site's Venues page.
The organiser encourages travel by train. Free shuttles link Monaco station and Nice airport to the Grimaldi Forum and hotels on the first and last day, then run between hotels, evening venues and the Grimaldi Forum throughout the three days; allow around an hour for the transfer between Nice and Monaco. The detailed timetable published at the time of writing was still the 2026 one. By car, Grimaldi Forum parking is offered at the negotiated rate of 20 euros per day, a cost not covered by the organiser.
Accommodation is allocated by the organiser: the hotel is communicated by email 48 to 72 hours before the event. Side activities have limited places and require prior registration in the personal account area.
How much it costs to exhibit
Comexposium One to One does not publish a price list. Partner participation takes the form of a quote-based package, obtained through the Become an exhibitor form, after an initial sales discussion and review of the application by the editorial committee.
What is included is, however, detailed, and it changes how the budget should be read: turnkey stand, a prepared meeting schedule, speaking opportunities, access to the evening events, and, for teams as well as their guests, shuttles from the airport or station, hotel accommodation and all meals. Unlike a classic trade show, the cost of the stand, furniture, accommodation and catering is therefore not to be added up separately. What remains for the exhibitor to cover is travel to Monaco, the time of the teams mobilised for three days, and any additional sponsorship.
For guests, attendance costs are covered. For the 2026 edition, this included accommodation, meals and a transport reimbursement of up to 235 euros incl. VAT per person on presentation of receipts, conditional on actual attendance and a minimum of 9 meetings honoured. Invoicing of services is offered to companies whose compliance rules prevent them from accepting the invitation.
Preparing your visit
For the exhibitor
- Apply early: selection by the editorial committee comes before any commitment, and the application is reviewed before access to the personal account area.
- Prepare on the matchmaking platform as soon as it opens, a month before Monaco: that is where the quality of the agenda is decided, not on the stand.
- Aim for a speaking slot, keynote, smart talk or workshop: this is the visibility lever outside the meetings.
- For startups under 5 years old, watch for the opening of the 2027 Village Startups call for applications.
For the decision-making visitor
- Request your invitation with a clearly identified investment project: this is the eligibility criterion, checked by the organiser.
- Commit to the agenda: transport cover was conditional in 2026 on a minimum number of meetings honoured.
- Check your company's compliance rules on covered invitations in advance, as a billed alternative exists.
- Sign up for side activities as soon as registration opens, as places are limited.
CSR policy & initiatives
Comexposium One to One publishes a charter of commitments for its One to One events, organised around six themes: eco-design, mobility, catering, resources and waste, diversity and inclusion, and mobilising the ecosystem. The measures presented as already in place are concrete: fitted stands designed to be reused from one edition to the next, printed materials on cardboard or recycled paper, train travel covered for decision-makers and shared shuttles on site, an enhanced vegetarian offer and seasonal produce, collection of surplus food by charities, and renewable electricity where the venue offers it.
An eco-gestures guide is made available to attendees. The charter itself acknowledges that measuring the impact of travel is a work in progress: no costed carbon footprint for the event is published.
The venue provides a documented guarantee: the Grimaldi Forum Monaco has been ISO 14001 certified since 2008 and ISO 20121 certified since 2023, the reference standard for responsible event management.

Trajectory analysis
The event came through the pandemic without changing its model. Deprived of its gathering in 2020 and early 2021, the team kept the community engaged remotely with a "retail month", then held its 10th edition in October 2021 before returning to its March slot. The 2024, 2026 and 2027 editions follow the same sequence: March, Grimaldi Forum, three days from Tuesday to Thursday.
The orders of magnitude move little. The event announced close to 2,000 participants for 2021, showed more than 2,000 each year on the 2024 edition's listing, and brought together more than 2,000 in 2026. If there is progress, it shows up more in density: the key figures displayed on the Grimaldi Forum's 2024 edition listing (8,000 meetings, 1,100 retailers and e-commerce players, 180 partners) are lower than those the organiser displays today (8,200, 1,150 and 213), but neither set of figures specifies which edition it refers to.
The successive annual themes tell the story of the sector's evolution better than the figures: the spring of commerce in 2022, a polarised e-commerce in 2023, under pressure in 2024, a return to fundamentals in 2025, then in 2026 a three-way commerce where artificial intelligence steps in between the brand and its customer. For a solution provider, this is a useful signal: among the three requirements set out by the 2026 theme is legibility for intelligent agents.
Dates for the 2028 edition were not announced at the time of writing.
