Agoris analysis · updated November 2026

Key points

  • Property Asset Retrofit, subtitled "Les Rencontres du Retrofit Immobilier", is a one-day professional event devoted to transforming existing property assets: heavy refurbishment, change of use, hybridisation of buildings. Its tagline: "Transformer l'existant. Valoriser l'avenir."
  • Next edition: Tuesday 2 February 2027, from 8.30am to 6.00pm, at the Palais des Congrès de Paris, Hall Havane, level 3.
  • Organiser: Beyond Event SAS, a company based in Saint-Mandé that also runs BIM World, Cyber-IA Expo and the Salon de la Copropriété et de l'Habitat. No co-organiser is listed.
  • Format: a single day combining conferences, workshops and an exhibition area. Figures displayed by the organiser on its website, not tied to any past edition and therefore to be read as targets: 1,200 decision-makers, 52 exhibitors and 60 workshops and conferences.
  • The website mentions no previous edition: the 2027 edition presents itself as a launch, and the frequency of later editions has not been announced.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

The show targets suppliers of the transformation of existing buildings, across the six thematic families displayed by the organiser: diagnostics ("Rétrofit Clinic : audit et analyse"), energy (flexibility, storage and self-consumption), finance (structuring, green loans, third-party financing and subsidies), change of use (transformation, hybridisation, repositioning), data and AI (quality, management, security), and "RetrofitTech", which brings together PropTech, ConTech, FinTech, GreenTech and AI.

In practice, these themes suggest profiles ranging from engineering consultancies and energy audit firms to building and refurbishment contractors, building management software publishers, building automation specialists, green finance players and property start-ups. The organiser's pitch to exhibitors stresses access to major clients, the generation of qualified leads and business meetings, and taking a position in a market described as fast-growing.

Notable exhibitors

No exhibitor has been named yet. The exhibitors page of the official website announced that the list would be published during October; it was still empty at the time of writing, as were the executive partners and partners sections. Requests for information on exhibiting go through the Devenir exposant form or the dedicated address contact@property-retrofit.com.

Visitor quality

The organiser describes an audience that covers the whole decision chain for existing property assets: owners, investors, asset managers, real estate departments, operators, designers, local authorities and companies that plan, finance and carry out the transformation of buildings. This is an audience of buyers and prescribers, not of private individuals.

The figure of 1,200 decision-makers is a target announced before the event, not a final tally: no attendance has been measured yet, and no third-party audit has been announced. Visitors request a badge through the registration page.

Activities & community

Conference programme

The programme combines strategic conferences, practical workshops, case studies and calls for projects. The organiser has published its main themes: regulatory constraint as a competitive advantage (the tertiary decree, the BACS decree, the European taxonomy, CSRD), the business model of transformation, the challenges of retrofit in the face of new uses, a toolbox to speed up projects, the analysis of remarkable operations (office, residential, hybrid, hospitality, managed residences, data centre), retrofit at neighbourhood and city scale, and the new RetrofitTech.

The full programme, with speakers and timings, was announced for the end of October and was not yet online at the time of writing. It will be published on the programme page.

Community & networks

The website publishes a series of in-depth articles that set the editorial tone of the event: retrofit as a new business model, property assets losing value before the end of their life, the choice between demolition and transformation, the conversion of vacant offices, and the adaptation of buildings to heatwaves.

On the same day, in the same Palais des Congrès but in a different hall (Hall Maillot, level 2), Beyond Event holds Cyber-IA Expo, devoted to cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Neither website presents the two events as linked or announces a shared badge.

On site: what you need to know

The event takes place in Hall Havane, on level 3 of the Palais des Congrès de Paris, 2 place de la Porte Maillot, in the 17th arrondissement. Doors are open from 8.30am to 6.00pm, over a single day.

By public transport: metro line 1, Porte Maillot station, exit 3; RER C or E, Neuilly - Porte Maillot station; buses 43, 73, 82, 244 and PC. By car, the Indigo Porte Maillot and Q-Park Porte Maillot car parks serve the site.

How much does it cost to exhibit

Beyond Event does not publish any price list: exhibiting terms are provided on request via the form on the website. The amounts below are indicative orders of magnitude for a one-day professional trade show in a Paris congress centre. They are in no way the official rates of Property Asset Retrofit.

Preparing your visit

For exhibitors

  • A single day: schedule meetings with major clients in advance rather than counting on walk-in traffic.
  • Aim for a place in the programme: with around sixty workshops and conferences announced, speaking is a central visibility lever for this format.
  • Arrive with a concrete, costed case: the programme emphasises the analysis of operations and the business model, not catalogue presentations.
  • Register early under one of the six themes displayed, so that visitors planning their route can identify you.

For decision-maker visitors

  • Request your badge in advance via the registration page of the website.
  • Wait for the full programme to be published before building your itinerary between conferences and workshops.
  • Come with a project in mind: the diagnosis of an asset, a change of use, a financing structure. The format is designed to test a real case against the solutions on show.
  • Plan for the whole day: 8.30am to 6.00pm, with no second chance the next day.

CSR policy & initiatives

Retrofit is by nature a subject of sobriety: transforming a building rather than demolishing and rebuilding it is the common thread of the show's editorial content, as are the regulatory energy performance requirements. This is, however, a programme theme, not a commitment by the organiser.

Neither the event's website nor that of Beyond Event publishes a CSR policy, a carbon footprint report or an ISO 20121 certification specific to the event.

The venue, however, offers a documented guarantee: Viparis, which operates the Palais des Congrès de Paris, states that in 2014 it became the world's first events operator to be ISO 20121 certified across all its sites and activities, and has since 2018 run a sustainability policy called Better Events.

How the show has evolved

Property Asset Retrofit has no track record yet: no earlier edition is listed on the official website, and the 2 February 2027 edition has been announced since at least spring 2026. The figures available are therefore targets, not final tallies.

The launch fits a portfolio logic. Beyond Event already organises BIM World, devoted to digital technology in construction, and the Salon de la Copropriété et de l'Habitat: Property Asset Retrofit occupies the segment of transforming commercial and residential property, at the crossroads of investment, operation and works. For an exhibitor, this is a bet on a young event, with an entry cost that is a priori contained by the one-day format, but with no attendance benchmark to date. The first results, after 2 February 2027, will show whether the target of 1,200 decision-makers is reached.

All data that does not name a source comes from the organiser's website.

Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (property-retrofit.com).
