Key facts
- Seanergy is the international marine renewable energy forum held in France: an exhibition and a conference programme covering every technology, from fixed-bottom and floating offshore wind to tidal stream, wave, ocean thermal energy conversion, floating solar and osmotic energy.
- Next edition: Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 March 2027, at the Parc des Expositions de Montpellier, Route de la Foire in Pérols. Open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on both days, with technical visits on Friday 12 March.
- Organiser: Bluesign SAS, a Bordeaux-based company that created the forum and has organised it since 2016. No co-organiser.
- Annual frequency, with a different city from one edition to the next: Le Havre in 2022, Paris in 2023 and 2025, Nantes and Saint-Nazaire in 2024, Nantes in 2026, Montpellier in 2027.
- Latest published attendance report, for the 2024 edition in Nantes: more than 3,500 visitors, 200 exhibitors and delegates from more than 30 countries. The 2026 edition, the tenth, has published only its programme figures: more than 70 speakers and more than 40 countries.
- Exhibiting is charged per square metre under a price list published in the 2027 general terms and conditions of sale: from €450 to €785 excl. VAT per square metre, plus €575 excl. VAT in registration fees, for a minimum of 9 m².
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The 2027 general terms and conditions of sale reserve exhibiting for organisations active in marine energy: companies with an industrial facility or an entity in the sector, companies in promotion, sales, services or consulting, and publishers of journals, catalogues or specialist websites. The organiser reserves the right to refuse an application.
The scope is deliberately broad. Beyond the generation sectors, the show welcomes the activities that surround them: energy storage, smart grids, digital, drones, wind-assisted shipping, eco-designed materials. The audience targeted by the Exhibit page ranges from project developers and major principals to SMEs, ports, local authorities, public bodies, investors, research organisations and international delegations.
Three formats complement the individual stand. The collective pavilion, regional or national, with a minimum of 6 m² per co-exhibitor. The Innovation Village, reserved for companies under five years old with annual turnover below €750,000. And filmed pitch sessions, reserved for exhibitors, by booking and subject to available slots.
Notable exhibitors
The official list of 2027 sponsors and exhibitors was still being compiled on 10 October 2026. Five exhibitors appeared on it: Alotech, Créocéan, which works on marine environment analysis for marine energy projects, Géotec, a technical consultancy in geology and geotechnics, Glenair and GTS Global Training Solutions, a training centre specialising in wind energy.
To gauge the profile of a full show, the 2024 attendance report cited in particular ATS, BayWa r.e., Chantiers de l'Atlantique, CorPower Ocean, EDF Renewables, Elicio, Fondation Open-C, GEPS Techno, HydroQuest, IRT Jules Verne, Lhyfe, RWE and SeaQurrent. These names relate to 2024 and do not imply that these companies will attend in Montpellier. In 2026, EDF power solutions was announced as Gold sponsor.
Visitor quality
The forum is aimed at the whole value chain: policymakers, energy companies and industrial principals, technical experts, NGOs, researchers, investors and subcontractors, according to the organiser's own presentation. Visitor access is paid: a pass is required, and business meetings require a ticket that includes B2B access. The 2027 pass prices had not been published at the time of writing.
The international dimension is central. In 2024, the organiser reported delegates from more than 30 countries, including Denmark, Spain, Ireland, Finland, Greece, Italy, Norway, Poland, the United Kingdom and Taiwan. In 2026, an Irish delegation led by Enterprise Ireland, a Danish delegation organised by Dansk Industri with the Danish embassy, and players from Hamburg were scheduled, each with its own reception.
Attendance figures are the organiser's own: no OJS certification or third-party audit has been published.
Events & community
Conference programme
The format follows a fixed running order, displayed for 2027: a welcome day for international delegations and a welcome drink for exhibitors ahead of the forum (DAY 0, not dated on the website), two forum days punctuated by the Seanergy Party and then a closing cocktail, and a day of technical visits to industrial sites on 12 March 2027, reserved for participants.
The 2027 call for speakers was open from 6 September to 6 November 2026. It covers fixed-bottom and floating offshore wind, other marine renewables and cross-cutting innovations such as drones, digital and data management. The 2027 programme had not been published at the time of writing.
To gauge the level, the 2026 edition in Nantes advertised more than 70 speakers and more than 40 countries. Its pre-show press release announced a round table on the French marine energy roadmap with the DGEC, RTE, the SER and France Renouvelables, a visit by members of parliament at the opening and sessions on port infrastructure, floating wind and tidal stream. In 2024, the attendance report cited more than 50 conferences and more than 80 speakers, 45% of them from abroad.
Researchers have their own way in: research posters displayed at the heart of the show, assessed by a panel of experts, with an application deadline of Friday 18 December and a €40 excl. VAT registration fee for the selected author, who is exempt from the visitor pass.
Seanergy Awards
The Seanergy Awards reward three categories: the “Industrial & Technological Innovation Award”, reserved for start-ups and SMEs, the “Environmental Commitment Award” and the “International Cooperation Award”. They are open only to sponsors and exhibitors of Seanergy 2027.
The published timetable provides for submissions on Friday 11 December, a final deadline on Friday 18 December, the announcement of two finalists per category on Friday 22 January, then a pitch by the six finalists at the ceremony on Wednesday 10 March, with a live public vote to choose the winners.
The 2026 edition, the second, honoured WAVE-OP (Groupe Legendre, Geps Techno) for industrial and technological innovation, then two projects from Fondation OPEN-C: Piaff & Co for environmental commitment and HiPoTeSis for international cooperation. The awards are organised in partnership with Le Marin.
Community & networks
The institutional partners shown for 2027 are France Renouvelables, the French Maritime Cluster and the Syndicat des énergies renouvelables. The home page also states that the event is held under the high patronage of the President of the French Republic.
Bluesign also runs Workinblue®, an initiative dedicated to employment, training and the attractiveness of marine renewable energy careers, organised around a web platform, which had a dedicated programme and space at the 2026 edition. In 2024, more than 150 students followed a specific pathway through this scheme.
On the press side, the site's 2026 press review lists in particular articles from La Tribune, Ouest-France, Le Marin, Mer et Marine, Le Télégramme and reNEWS.
On site: what you need to know
The show takes place at the Parc des Expositions de Montpellier, Route de la Foire, in the commune of Pérols, near Montpellier. The hall allocated had not been indicated at the time of writing.
By public transport, tram line 3, towards Pérols Etang de l'Or, serves the Parc Expo stop, with direct access to the park. The same line links the centre of Montpellier and Montpellier Saint-Roch station. From Montpellier-Méditerranée airport, the taxi rank is in front of the arrivals hall. By car, several car parks are available on site, and two-wheelers have spaces in car parks A, north entrance, and B, south entrance.
The show is open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 March 2027. For a stand enquiry, the website refers visitors to hello@seanergy-forum.com.
How much does it cost to exhibit

Between the two extremes, the price list includes a pre-equipped area at €530 excl. VAT/m² and a turnkey area at €650 excl. VAT/m². The area increases in 3 m² modules, and when a direct exhibitor occupies the 9 m² minimum, each indirect exhibitor hosted on its stand adds 6 m². Payment of the full stand price, incl. VAT, accompanies the order; in the event of cancellation, 30% remains due, and the full amount after 10 December 2026.
Planning your visit
For exhibitors
- Be aware that a cancellation received after 10 December 2026 leaves the full stand price due, and that 30% remains due whatever the date.
- Choose the format to suit the organisation: individual stand, regional or national pavilion at 6 m² per co-exhibitor, or Innovation Village for an eligible young company.
- Apply for the Seanergy Awards before 18 December if a project fits: the awards are reserved for exhibitors and sponsors, and the final takes place on stage on the first day.
- Book a pitch slot early, as places are limited, and promote it yourself, as the organiser specifies.
- Prepare B2B meetings as soon as they open, a few weeks before the show.
For decision-maker visitors
- Plan for the pass that includes B2B access if the aim is to book qualified meetings.
- Block out Friday 12 March for the technical visits, open to participants only.
- Use the tram from Saint-Roch station or the city centre: the Parc Expo stop is at the foot of the site.
- Note the international delegation receptions: this is where contacts with foreign markets are made.
CSR policy & initiatives
Bluesign publishes a corporate social responsibility commitments page specific to Seanergy, organised in twelve sections. On the environmental side: parking provided for suppliers to avoid trips back and forth between set-up and dismantling, local caterers and water fountains, a “plastic free” approach on site, recyclable carpet, packaged stands with modular partitions and rented furniture, reuse of materials with local associations, selective waste sorting, LED lighting and fewer printed materials.
The social and societal section is shorter: a gender-parity objective for the conference programme, a venue accessible to people with disabilities, partnerships with local associations against food waste and with student associations for the reuse of materials.
No ISO 20121 certification is displayed for the event itself, and this page publishes neither a carbon footprint nor any quantified indicator. The venue, however, has a certified approach: according to the park's website, SPL Occitanie Events, which operates it, has been ISO 20121 certified by AFNOR since January 2021, a certification renewed for three years in December 2023.
These commitments should be distinguished from the content of the show: the energy transition is the very subject of Seanergy, which says nothing in itself about the event's footprint, in particular the international travel it generates.

Trajectory analysis
Seanergy is an itinerant show that, since 2022, has alternated between Paris, which the organiser presented in 2022 as a hub of economic and political decision-makers, and the sector's major industrial regions, Le Havre and then the Loire estuary. The organiser embraced this in 2022 by announcing a return to the regions for 2024, close to job pools, factories and projects.
The last two published attendance reports give nearly 4,000 participants and 200 exhibitors in Paris in 2023, then more than 3,500 visitors and 200 exhibitors in Nantes and Saint-Nazaire in 2024; the organiser does not use the same term from one year to the next. No attendance figure has been published for 2025 or 2026.
The choice of Montpellier for 2027 breaks the pattern: after Nantes, the forum leaves the Atlantic and Channel coasts for the Mediterranean. For an exhibitor, the consequence is practical as much as commercial: the technical visits on Friday 12 March 2027 are announced at industrial sites, with no list published at the time of writing.
The market context was set by the organiser itself: its April 2026 press release mentioned a new offshore wind tender timetable and, for the first time, a commercial project target for tidal stream in the multiannual energy plan. The same text presented Seanergy as a space to make these issues visible and to engage in dialogue between French and international players, one year ahead of major political deadlines.
The dates of the 2028 edition had not been announced at the time of writing.
