Key takeaways

  • Séminaire Expo is the trade show for seminars, conferences and corporate events, organised by Weyou Group at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, in Pavilion 4.
  • Organiser: Weyou Group, a SAS (simplified joint-stock company) with capital of €9,202,579, headquartered in Suresnes, which runs 28 B2B trade shows a year in France, Spain and the Netherlands.
  • Next edition: from Tuesday 17 to Thursday 19 November 2026, marking what the official website's About page describes verbatim as "for the 16th consecutive year" (the SEO block on the same site's homepage separately refers to "more than 20 years").
  • The trade show is held jointly with Heavent Paris, now in its 25th edition, and with Affaire de Cadeaux, in its 16th edition. The three trade shows share Pavilion 4 and a single visitor badge.
  • 2025 results for Séminaire Expo: 59 exhibitor stands. The figure of more than 20,000 participants (3 co-located trade shows) published by the organiser covers all three trade shows combined, not Séminaire Expo alone.
  • The exhibitors represent the MICE supply chain: hotel chains and hotels, châteaux, unusual and event venues, convention centres and exhibition centres, tourist boards and destinations, team-building companies, and event service providers.
  • Access is reserved for professionals, with a free badge. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone unable to provide proof of salaried or self-employed professional activity.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

Séminaire Expo's exhibitors sell venues and experiences. The official website groups their activities into two families. The first covers venues and destinations: event venues, destinations, tourist boards, convention centres, exhibition centres. The second covers accommodation and entertainment: hotel chains and hotels, châteaux, unusual or event venues, team-building companies, service providers.

On the visitor side, the organiser targets buyers and decision-influencers responsible for organising seminars, business meetings and conferences: corporate marketing, communications, procurement and HR departments, event agencies and business travel agencies.

Notable exhibitors

The list of exhibitors for the 2026 edition is published and updated on the dedicated page of the official website. It listed 39 registered companies at the end of August 2026, a little under two-thirds of the stand volume reached in 2025.

Three profiles stand out in this interim list. Hotel groups and stay operators, including Accor France, Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Meetings & Events, Villages Clubs du Soleil, LJ Hotels & Co, Hilton Garden Inn Marseille Provence Airport and Zoku Paris. Destinations and convention bureaux, including Annecy Tourisme & Congrès, Strasbourg Convention Bureau, Toulouse Haute-Garonne, Vosges Tourisme, Les Arcs Bourg Saint Maurice Tourisme, Destination Épinal and Aveyron Events. And venues with character and entertainment providers, including Château de Saint-Jean de Beauregard, Château du Bois Guy, Hôtel Chais Monnet & Spa, Le Cordon Bleu Paris, Koezio, Bam Karaoke Box and Team Cuba Percussions.

Quality of the audience

This is the point where the figures need close reading. The organiser communicates a total of more than 20,000 participants (3 co-located trade shows), but states on its own visitor profile page that in 2025 this total aggregated Séminaire Expo, Heavent Paris and Affaire de Cadeaux over three days. The respective weight of the three trade shows can be read in the number of stands: 490 for Heavent Paris, 59 for Séminaire Expo. No attendance figure specific to Séminaire Expo is published, and the trade show is not subject to any accessible OJS audit.

For an exhibitor, the trade-off is therefore easy to state. Co-location brings footfall, since Heavent Paris visitors circulate through the same pavilion with the same badge. In return, the proportion of visitors who came specifically looking for a seminar venue cannot be deduced from the published total. Exhibitor feedback and qualified-contact statistics supplied by the show management remain the only usable indicators at this stage.

Events & community

Conference programme

The conference programme is run by Heavent Paris and open to visitors of all three trade shows. It takes the form of plenary sessions bringing together experts, advertisers, specialists and agencies around event innovation, covering content, formats, digital and technical aspects, with case studies from recent major events.

Heavent Paris's 2026 edition also announces the Observatoire des grands événements sportifs internationaux (GESI - International Major Sporting Events Observatory), organised by SPORSORA, as well as the Heavent Festivals Awards, which recognise European music festivals. These formats belong to the Heavent Paris programme and not to Séminaire Expo.

Exhibitor services

Séminaire Expo provides its exhibitors with a free concierge service, available before and during the trade show at the show management office. It covers restaurant and hotel bookings, organising client evenings, changes to travel tickets, taxis and chauffeur-driven cars, express deliveries, on-stand deliveries, dry cleaning, translation and interpreting.

Community & networks

Séminaire Expo belongs to Weyou Group's French portfolio, alongside Affaire de Cadeaux, All4Customer Paris, Educatech Expo, Europropre, Heavent Paris, the Salon de l'Environnement de Travail et des Achats, and Workspace Paris. The group also runs a pre-scheduled business-meetings format, including Heavent Meetings Cannes for the events and MICE sector.

On the Paris calendar, the neighbouring event on the business tourism side is IFTM Top Resa, which is held in autumn and covers a broader tourism scope, with a MICE component.

How much it costs to exhibit

Weyou Group publishes no pricing schedule for Séminaire Expo. The official website describes three stand packages, with no associated prices.

The Stand Nu (bare stand) comprises the floor space only, marked out. The Stand Équipé (fitted stand) adds carpeted flooring, partition walls, an LED fascia, a logo-free sign board and stand lighting. The Stand Package includes the above fittings plus an allocation of white furniture, determined by the number of square metres booked.

Participation terms and rates are provided by the sales team, via the exhibitor information request form or by phone. No indicative per-square-metre price is published to date for this trade show.

Preparing your visit

For the exhibitor

  • Decide on the stand package first: the Stand Nu means entrusting the fit-out to a stand contractor, while the Stand Package covers the essentials for a first-time participation.
  • Ask the sales team explicitly for the breakdown of visitor numbers between the three trade shows and for contact statistics specific to Séminaire Expo: the figure of 20,000 participants (3 co-located trade shows) is a combined total.
  • Make the most of co-location: a Heavent Paris visitor looking for a technical supplier is also a potential buyer of a seminar venue, provided you are visible from the shared aisles of Pavilion 4.
  • Plan for the end of the show: Thursday closes at 5pm, two hours earlier than the first two days. Breakdown and end-of-visit meetings need to be scheduled around this time.
  • Activate the concierge service ahead of time, particularly for client evenings and team accommodation.

For the decision-making visitor

  • The badge is free but subject to proof of professional status: prepare proof of activity when registering online.
  • Check the exhibitor list before visiting: with around sixty stands expected, the Séminaire Expo route can be covered in half a day, leaving time to also cover Heavent Paris.
  • Target by category: destinations and convention bureaux for an event outside the Île-de-France region, châteaux and unusual venues for a striking format, team-building companies for the entertainment side.
  • Aim for the first two days to meet sales teams at full strength, as Thursday is a shortened day.

Policy & CSR initiatives

Séminaire Expo does not publish a commitments page specific to the event. The documented approach exists at two levels: the organiser and the venue.

Weyou Group publishes a CSR and ESG commitments page structured around three pillars: environment, social and governance. On the environment, the group states a commitment to reducing its carbon footprint, optimising waste management and developing the circular economy in its operations. The most concrete measure it documents concerns its Cannes events: after working to align dates with the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes, a partnership with SNCF (the French national rail operator) enables chartered high-speed trains for its participants, with an announced saving of around 136.75 kg CO2e per person. This measure applies to the Cannes One to One Meetings, not to the group's Paris trade shows.

On the social side, the group highlights a working arrangement combining on-site work and remote work, equal pay and equivalent career prospects for equal roles, as well as a diversity and inclusion policy. Its offices are located in Haute Qualité Environnementale (High Environmental Quality) buildings.

On governance, the group's shareholder base, formed with EMZ Partners, adheres to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI).

The venue provides the certified foundation. Viparis, operator of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, was the first operator in the events industry to be certified ISO 20121 across all its sites and activities, in 2014. Its Better Events 2030 CSR strategy is built around three priorities: reducing the ecological footprint of its sites, guaranteeing the positive legacy of each event through more sustainable services and partnerships, and involving teams in the approach. The Porte de Versailles site has a waste sorting centre and rainwater recovery systems, and several of its pavilions and hotels hold environmental certifications.

No ISO 20121 certification specific to Séminaire Expo is published, and no dated, quantified target is published at event level either.

Trajectory analysis

Séminaire Expo moves into 2026 in what the organiser presents as its sixteenth consecutive year, on a model that has not changed: a compact trade show, around sixty stands, riding on the traffic weight of Heavent Paris in the same pavilion. The most visible change from one edition to the next concerns the calendar: after 12-14 November 2024 and 4-6 November 2025, the 2026 edition shifts to 17-19 November, a date to factor in for teams who block out their sales diaries well in advance.

The real signal to follow is not the reported total number of participants, which remains a combined figure for the three trade shows and so has not moved in its wording, but the number of stands specific to Séminaire Expo. At 59 in 2025, against Heavent Paris's 490, the trade show remains a minority component of a whole dominated by the events and technical sector. For a hotelier, a château or a tourist board, the appeal of the venue lies precisely in this imbalance: few direct competitors in the seminars and conferences space, within a pavilion that draws the densest events audience in France.

Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (seminaire-expo.fr).
