Key points

  • Spinexpo Paris, presented on the official website as Spinclub Paris, is the Paris leg of Spinexpo, an international sourcing trade show for yarns, fibres and knitwear. Visitors see the collections of spinners and knitwear manufacturers more than a year ahead of the selling season.
  • Next edition: Tuesday 12 to Wednesday 13 January 2027, at Espace 38, 38 rue du Mont Thabor, Paris 1st arrondissement. Open 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on 12 January, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on 13 January. Collections shown: Spring/Summer 2028.
  • A second Paris session is already announced for 20 and 21 July 2027, for Autumn/Winter 2028.
  • Organiser: Well Link Consultants Ltd, whose name appears in the footer of the official website (no legal notice is published). The Spinexpo brand is also present in New York (Spinclub New York, 27-28 January 2027) and Shanghai (2-4 March 2027). No co-organiser is listed.
  • Twice-yearly frequency: two sessions a year in Paris, in January and July in 2027, aligned with the Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter seasons.
  • Selective trade show: the organiser chooses industrial companies with their own factories and does not accept agents. No figures are published for the 2027 edition; the latest official results report found covers the June 2025 session (57 exhibiting companies, 341 visitors).

Who exhibits

Typical profile

The Exhibiting page sets precise admission criteria. Exhibitors come from three trades: spinning, flat knitting and circular knitting. They must work by season, Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter, and develop collections at least twice a year. Spinexpo explicitly describes itself as "not an agent exhibition": only industrial companies with factories and up-to-date machinery are selected. The show targets the high and middle-end markets and export-oriented exhibitors.

Applications are made by submitting a file: website, company profile with client references, and the most interesting products. The site names two contacts, one for mainland China and one for the rest of the world, via the Exhibiting page.

Notable exhibitors

The list of exhibitors for January 2027 is not online yet: the Visiting page announces it as forthcoming, as is the floorplan.

For reference, the Autumn/Winter 2027 season newsletters, published on the Communication page, feature the collections of Xin'Ao, Südwolle, Tangola, ICCI, Winning, Top Line and Shi-Kwan under their "Latest from Exhibitors" heading. They relate to the previous season, across all Spinexpo cities: their presence in Paris in January 2027 is not confirmed.

Visitor quality

The show is aimed at industry professionals: the trade magazine Knitting Industry stated that the June 2025 session was open to industry professionals, and the EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform describes the February 2026 session as designed exclusively for them (manufacturers, designers, procurement managers, brand developers, sourcing experts). The results report published by the organiser for the June 2025 session ("Results Spinclub Paris", available in the Show Reports on the Communication page) gives declared, unaudited figures: 57 exhibiting companies, including 41 spinners and 16 knitwear manufacturers, and 341 visitors from 196 companies and 16 countries, including 9 European countries. The first day welcomed 188 visitors from 113 companies, the second day 114 new visitors from 60 companies, and 39 visitors returned (23 companies). France ranks first among visiting countries, for the first time since Spinclub Paris began according to the report, with 62 companies, ahead of the United Kingdom (49), Germany (18) and Spain (11, including the Inditex group). No results report was found for the February 2026 session.

The stated positioning on the high and middle-end markets and the calendar lead (Spring/Summer 2028 collections are shown in January 2027) are aimed at design and materials-buying teams. These June 2025 figures give an order of magnitude for the size of the Paris session, without prejudging that of January 2027.

Features & community

Trend area

Trends are Spinexpo's central feature. According to the About page, each season the organiser works on more than 1,000 swatches and panels, from knit to weave and circular knit, and has garments made with designers. This figure applies to the whole brand, not only to the Paris session.

In an article of 6 May 2025, Knitting Industry announced for the June 2025 Spinclubs (Paris and Hong Kong) a trend area called "The Cabinet of Curiosities", which was to bring together 58 textile exhibitors (Paris and Hong Kong combined) around four directions: Inclusivity, Escapism, Versatility and Connectivity. The programme of the January 2027 trend area had not been published at the time of writing.

Publications

The Trends page puts online a trend book, viewable in full for the Autumn/Winter 2027 season, and a magazine for the Autumn/Winter 2027-28 season. Newsletters punctuate each season ahead of the shows.

Community & networks

Spinexpo says it operates from offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Paris and Indonesia, and states a reach covering more than 130 countries, a brand figure and not one for the Paris session. The show is present on Instagram, WeChat and Xiaohongshu.

On site: what to know

The session takes place at Espace 38, 38 rue du Mont Thabor, in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, close to Place de la Concorde. The show moved there in June 2025, to a central Paris venue, far from an exhibition park.

Opening hours for the January 2027 edition: 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on Tuesday 12 January, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday 13 January. Visitor pre-registration, the exhibitor list and the floorplan are announced as available soon on the Visiting page. Visitor enquiries are handled by Vincent Tafanelli, at inquiry@spinexpo.com, as stated on the same page.

How much does it cost to exhibit?

The organiser publishes no price list: admission is by application, and the Exhibiting page merely refers applicants to contacts. In the absence of an official figure, no budget is presented here.

Preparing your visit

For exhibitors

  • Check eligibility first: own factory, recent equipment, at least two collections a year. The site specifies that the show is not an agents' show.
  • Prepare the application file with strong client references: selectivity is the show's selling point.
  • Think in two seasons: January for Spring/Summer 2028, July for Autumn/Winter 2028.

For decision-making visitors

  • Pre-register as soon as it opens, as announced on the Visiting page.
  • Come with a precise materials brief: fibres, yarn counts, gauges, expected traceability. The short two-day format leaves no room for random exploration.
  • Consult the online trend book before the visit to target exhibitors.

CSR policy & initiatives

Spinexpo's messaging focuses on the product offer: the About page highlights natural, biodegradable, renewable and functional products, as well as traceability "from raw fibres through to finish". This describes what exhibitors offer, not a commitment by the organiser.

Neither the show's website nor Well Link Consultants Ltd publishes a formal CSR policy, carbon assessment or ISO 20121 certification, and no environmental initiative specific to the venue was found for Espace 38. Buyers for whom traceability is a criterion will need to check it exhibitor by exhibitor.

Trajectory analysis

The brand, whose Shanghai show was due to hold its 28th session in 2016, announced in May 2016 the opening of its Paris version, planned for 6 and 7 July 2016 at the Cité de la Mode et du Design, with a target of 75 exhibitors for this first session (advance announcement, no results report found). The results report for the June 2025 session (57 exhibiting companies, 341 visitors) is the only one found for Paris.

The Paris format is now called Spinclub and has been held at Espace 38, in the 1st arrondissement, since June 2025. Dates have also shifted from one year to the next (June 2025, February 2026, then January and July 2027), and the intermediate history is not reconstructed here: the table lists only verified sessions. For 2027, the announced calendar includes two Paris sessions, ahead of the collection seasons.

For a spinner or knitter, the appeal is showing collections in Paris in a selective format. The drawback is the scarcity of public figures (a single results report found, June 2025): an exhibitor should ask the organiser for the visitor profile of more recent sessions before committing.
