Key takeaways

  • ALLFORPACK Emballage Paris (formerly ALL4PACK Emballage Paris) holds its 2027 edition from Tuesday 29 June to Thursday 1 July 2027 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Change of dates and venue: the edition originally scheduled for 24-26 November 2026 at Paris Nord Villepinte has been postponed to 2027 and moved inside Paris, according to the organiser's press release of 23 June 2026. There is therefore no edition in November 2026.
  • Biennial trade fair, organised by Comexposium. The identity stems from the 2014 merger of the historic Emballage (created in 1947) and Manutention trade fairs under the ALL4PACK brand. Strapline "Lead the revolution" in 2022, then "Unbox your potential" announced for the 2026 edition. According to the official website, the trade fair becomes "ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS" with the 2027 edition.
  • 2024 edition results (4-7 November 2024): 27,303 professional visitors (of whom 26% were international, from 88 countries, and 63% were decision-makers or prescribers), 1,022 exhibitors and brands (50% international). The 2022 pre-event marketing communication advertised 66,000 expected visitors, never reached.
  • For 2027, the organiser announces a greater presence of machines in operation, a 3-day format and an offering in four worlds: Emballages & Matériaux d'emballage (packaging and packaging materials), Design & Impression (design and printing), Machines & Conditionnement (machines and conditioning), Intralogistique & Transport (intralogistics and transport). The Paris Talks speaking programme is built by the Pack Expert Committee (AI, biomimicry, PPWR, Reuse).
  • Under the high patronage of the Ministry for the Economy, Finance and Industrial, Energy and Digital Sovereignty. Institutional support: CNE (Conseil National de l'Emballage), Citeo, ELIPSO, GEPPIA, Secimep, Carton Ondulé de France, EPAL France, EPDA, France Bois Forêt, World Packaging Organization.

Activities & community

Conference programme

Paris Talks is the trade fair's official conference programme, free for accredited visitors. For 2027, the website announces a speaking programme created by the Pack Expert Committee around the sector's key issues: AI, biomimicry, the European PPWR regulation (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation), Reuse. The detailed 2027 programme has not yet been published. For reference, the 2026 edition, eventually postponed, had been announced around three pillars, "Reinvent, Regenerate, Radiate".

Awards & accolades

ALLFORPACK INNOVATIONS Awards (official verbatim wording). 4 themes for 2027 (verbatim wording from the official website): Réinventer (optimising packaging features and performance: AI, data, smart packaging, security), Régénérer (reducing environmental impact: reduction, reuse, recycling, recycled content, biomass-based materials), Rayonner (boosting packaging appeal: structural and graphic design, service, convenience), Machines / Efficience industrielle (efficiency of tools and processes: productivity, energy savings, space saving, adaptability). Three-stage selection: pre-selection, international press jury, final validation by the Pack Expert Committee. Finalists and winners are displayed in the Ruptures Créatives space, where visitors vote for their favourite innovation. In 2024, the Pack Expert jury had selected 7 winners from 20 finalists: Mondi (Recycling, Protective Mailer envelope), Packsize (Reduction, X5 machine), Raja (Reuse, Re-Zip packaging), SEE / Sealed Air (Functionality and use, Korrvu Rapid Fix system), Screen Europe (Industrial efficiency, Truepress PAC 830F digital press), Novatec Industry and Releaf Paper (Innovative materials category).

  • A 3-day format and three new activity spaces (Ruptures Créatives, Re-Génération, Matières à Penser).
  • A Business Meetings service open to all visitors and a Business+ programme dedicated to key buyers.
  • An annual sector barometer (OpinionWay / ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS) and the Out-of-the-Box e-magazine.

Policy & CSR initiatives

The trade fair features a dedicated "Our CSR commitments" page on its official website. Ecological transformation and circularity remain a central theme for 2027: the Régénérer category of the Innovations Awards and the Re-Génération space. Several initiatives structure this CSR line:

  • ALL4PACK CIRCULARITY highlighted in 2024 bio-based alternatives, mono-materials, compostable and reusable packaging, as well as start-ups committed to circularity.
  • Re-Génération (2027) addresses sober use, circularity, traceability, reuse and responsible logistics.
  • The Régénérer category of the 2027 Innovations Awards rewards reducing the environmental impact of packaging (reduction, reuse, recycling, recycled content).

Comexposium, the organiser, is also a major player in the French events industry and applies, across all its trade fairs, the ISO 20121 and Net Zero Carbon Events sector approaches promoted by the UFI member organisers. A formal commitment specific to the ALLFORPACK trade fair (ISO 20121 certification, Net Zero pledge) has not been explicitly published as at the date of this page.

Trajectory analysis

ALLFORPACK Emballage Paris is the direct heir of the Salon International de l'Emballage, created in Paris in 1947, one of the oldest French industrial events. The ALL4PACK brand dates from 2014, the year the Emballage trade fair merged with the Manutention trade fair under a single banner. The post-COVID 2022 edition attempted an ambitious repositioning ("Lead the revolution") with a stated target of 66,000 expected visitors, never reached in the published results. The 2024 edition achieved 27,303 visitors and 1,022 exhibitors, below the initial marketing projections but with a high internationalisation rate (88 countries). The 2026 edition was meant to mark a streamlining at Villepinte (3 days instead of 4, a single hall, the "Unbox your potential" strapline). It was postponed: on 23 June 2026, Comexposium announced an edition from 29 June to 1 July 2027 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, under the ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS name, with more machines in operation and a focus on French-speaking decision-maker visitors. The trade fair thus returns to Porte de Versailles, where the first Salon de l'emballage was held in 1947. The bet: densify the visitor and exhibitor experience rather than chase record volumes that were never met.

The trade fair operates in a competitive market alongside Interpack (Düsseldorf, triennial, the global segment leader), FachPack (Nuremberg, annual), EMPACK (Lyon / Paris, ESM) and the French Prod&Pack (Lyon, biennial on alternate years). The challenge for the 2027 edition: to win back European leadership on the Paris axis, drawing on the eco-organisation / federation / materials R&D ecosystem that is particularly well structured in France (Citeo, CNE, ELIPSO, GEPPIA).
