Who exhibits
Typical profile
The offering covers the full bioenergy and bioeconomy chain, as segmented by the organiser: solid bioenergy (biomass and wood energy, solid waste recovery, forestry and agricultural by-products, cogeneration, urban and industrial heat), liquid bioenergy (road, maritime and aviation biofuels), gaseous bioenergy (biogas, biomethane, bioCNG, hydrogen), bio-based materials and products (bioplastics, biochemical products, bio-coatings, biotextiles, bio-additives), biochar, regenerative agriculture and carbon capture, utilisation and storage.
In practice, the stands mix manufacturers and integrators (cogeneration, biogas upgrading, pelletising, boilers, conveying), engineering consultancies, certifying bodies, brokers and insurers, trade federations and project developers. The official 2026 list recorded exhibitors from 23 countries, including Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, the United States, Finland, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, as well as South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, China and Singapore.
Notable exhibitors
The full, up-to-date list is published on the exhibitors page of the official website, sortable by activity, by country and alphabetically. The 2026 edition brought together 383 registered exhibitors.
Quality of the audience
The event is reserved for professionals, on a personal badge. The 2026 edition, run over two days, brought together 5,500 participants, following 5,853 in 2025 and 5,000 in 2024. The organiser positions the audience as international: 45 countries represented among participants according to its own communications, with a significant share of visitors from Northern Europe, Central Europe and, since 2026, Africa. The two-day format, in a single 12,000 m2 hall, makes it a trade show built on density rather than volume: the conference-to-exhibition ratio is notably higher than at the large generalist energy trade shows.
Events & community
Conference programme
The conference programme is the core value of Bio360. It runs across six parallel sessions covering solid biomass energy, heating and cooling networks, energy recovery from waste, industrial defossilisation, liquid fuels (biofuels and renewable fuels), green gas (syngas, biogas, biomethane, bioCNG, biohydrogen and low-carbon hydrogen), BECCUS, bio-based materials, biochar, carbon credits, carbon farming, regenerative agriculture and the regulatory framework.
The 2026 edition brought together more than 200 international speakers. Simultaneous French-English translation is provided in the conference rooms: the organiser asks participants to bring their phone and headphones. The call for speakers for 2027 is open on the official website.
Two formats complement the exhibition: technical visits to industrial sites around Nantes, organised the day before the trade show (Tuesday 2 February 2027), free and by registration, and the fleet of bioCNG vehicles presented on site.
Awards and accolades
The Concours de l'Innovation (Innovation Competition) recognises solutions presented at the trade show each year, with an awards ceremony at the end of the first day. Confirmed winner from the 2026 results:
- Prix Or Innovation (Gold Innovation Award): Proxipel (Switzerland), Biomass Fuels category, for PROXIFLEX, a mobile, fully integrated pelletising unit approved for road transport (grinding, patented high-performance drying, pelletising and cooling in a self-contained system).
Other awards were presented at this edition, but their exact titles could not be verified against a primary source at this stage (see alerts): they are therefore not listed here.
Community & networks
Bio360 is backed by a dense network of federations and industry clubs listed as partners by the organiser: on the French side the AAMF (Association des Agriculteurs Méthaniseurs de France), the CIBE, Propellet, the AFGNV, the ATEE's Power to Gas and Pyrogasification clubs, the Agriculteurs Composteurs de France, Solagro, AILE, the ADEME, the CIRAD, the Chambres d'agriculture; on the international side Bioenergy Europe, the European Biogas Association, the World Bioenergy Association, the International Biochar Initiative, CO2 Value Europe, ESWET and the nova-Institute.
The organiser has also extended the brand to the African continent with Bio360 Africa, and in 2026 dedicated an Africa Day and an Africa Pavilion to the state of bioenergy deployment on the continent.
Worth noting for exhibitors: BEES publishes a warning page about fraudulent solicitations, whether unofficial paid exhibitor directories or alleged visitor data files offered for sale. The organiser states that it has never sold, rented or shared its participant database since 2005.
On site: what you need to know
For access, parking and accommodation, see the venue page: Parc des Expositions de Nantes (Route de Saint-Joseph de Porterie, 44300 Nantes). The trade show occupies Hall XXL.

Preparing your visit
For the exhibitor
- Request the 2027 exhibitor pack via the dedicated form on the "Exposer en 2027" page of the official website: BEES then gets back to the company with the pricing schedule and hall plan.
- Respond to the 2027 call for speakers, open on the website: speaking at a conference session is the most effective visibility lever at this event, where the programme drives a significant share of the traffic.
- Apply to the Concours de l'Innovation if the solution presented is a new one: the jury's verdicts are published and picked up by the trade press.
- State the presentation language (French or English) as early as the submission form: simultaneous translation is arranged in advance.
- Be wary of solicitations for third-party exhibitor directories and offers of visitor data files: BEES does not sell any participant database.
For the decision-making visitor
- Reserve an e-badge online in advance: entry is free for professionals with a badge, chargeable otherwise.
- Plan your route around the conference programme before the exhibitor list: with six parallel sessions over two days, the trade-offs need to be made in advance.
- Register for the technical visits on Tuesday 2 February 2027, free and by registration, if the aim is to see operating facilities around Nantes.
- Filter the exhibitor list by activity and by country on the website: it is the fastest way to identify the relevant suppliers on a specific link of the chain.
- Bring a phone and headphones to access the simultaneous translation in the conference rooms.
Policy & CSR initiatives
At event level, BEES publishes a "Nos engagements Verts" (Our Green Commitments) page listing three concrete actions: a car-sharing platform built into the website for travelling to the venue, a CO2 footprint calculator for the home-to-ExpoNantes journey made available to participants, and a water point installed in the hall for refilling personal bottles, to do away with plastic bottles. The organiser also states that all of its events comply with an independent environmental charter; it does not publish the underlying standard, so this commitment remains a declared one.
At venue level, the track record is considerably better documented. The Parc des Expositions de Nantes has been engaged in a CSR approach since 2008 and holds ISO 20121 certification, the responsible management standard applied to events. It had previously been, in 2010, the first European exhibition venue certified ISO 14001. Its published environmental commitments cover four areas: waste management (eight sorting streams, a 33.40% recycling rate in 2024), resource optimisation (responsible purchasing, rainwater harvesting, hall-by-hall independent lighting, green electricity), biodiversity (three beehives, pesticide-free ecological management since 2006 across twenty hectares) and pollution prevention.
These organisational commitments should be distinguished from the trade show's actual subject matter: decarbonisation, renewable carbon and regenerative agriculture are the content of Bio360, not its internal CSR policy.

Trajectory analysis
Bio360 was born from a consolidation, not a creation. BEES merged under a single brand three trade shows it had previously run separately: Salon Bois Énergie, created by the ITEBE in 1998 and at the time the world's leading event dedicated to wood energy, Biogaz Europe and ReGen Europe. The wager, readable in the name itself, was to break down the silos between bioenergy sectors and build an interdisciplinary event covering bioenergy, the bioeconomy and carbon management. That wager paid off: the event has stabilised at around 5,000 to 5,900 annual participants and 400 to 450 exhibitors, with continued internationalisation (5,000 professionals and 450 exhibitors from 40 countries as early as 2023, 37 countries represented in 2025).
The 2026 vintage marks a pause: 5,500 participants, down from 5,853 in 2025, and 383 registered exhibitors against 427. The organiser pointed to difficult winter weather conditions over the two days. The opening up to the African continent, with an Africa Day and an Africa Pavilion in 2026 followed by the launch of Bio360 Africa, points to where BEES is looking for its next growth driver.
For a French exhibitor, Bio360's positioning is specific: it is the only French event that addresses wood energy, biogas, biochar and bio-based materials in the same hall, whereas elsewhere these sectors are found in segmented form, on ExpoBiogaz for green gas or on Pollutec for the environment in the broader sense. Its value lies less in volume than in the concentration of international sector decision-makers over two days, and in a conference programme that genuinely structures the visit.
