Key takeaways
- "The meeting place for industry": Business Industries Dijon combines an industrial subcontracting trade show, a business convention with scheduled meetings and a jobs forum, over two days in a single hall.
- Organiser: Promo-Salons, a SARL (limited company) based in Mondeville (Calvados), which also runs the sister trade show Business Industries Reims.

- Free entry for professional visitors, upon online registration.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The offer covers five categories announced by the organiser: industrial subcontracting (sheet metal work, boilermaking, cutting, foundry, stamping, plastics processing and composites), production equipment (machine tools, cutting tools, software), robotics, cobotics and additive manufacturing, industrial supplies, and services to industry. On the visitor side, the organiser targets site managers, purchasing, production and manufacturing management, capital projects, maintenance, quality, R&D, design and methods offices, HSE and logistics.
The trade show has a strong regional footprint: at the 2025 edition, around half of exhibitors came from Bourgogne-Franche-Comté (Traces Écrites News).
Notable exhibitors
The official list from the previous edition is published by the organiser: 2025 exhibitor list. It lists 151 companies spread across aisles A to E, including energy and industrial groups (EDF, ENGIE Entreprises & Collectivités, TotalEnergies, Bodycote, Knauf Industries, Clayens Doubs, Valk Welding), regional mechanical engineering and sheet metal SMEs (Bourgogne Précision Mécanique, STI Genlis, Turgis et Gaillard Industrie Bourgogne, Lasertec, Monnot) and a cluster of local institutional players (CCI Côte-d'Or . Saône-et-Loire, Agence Économique Régionale de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Dijon Bourgogne Invest, Mecateamcluster, Vallée de l'Énergie, CPME 21, MEDEF Côte-d'Or).
Quality of the audience
The last published attendance figure concerns the 2024 edition: 2,500 visitors, cited by Traces Écrites News. The 2023 edition had totalled 2,426 visitors, including 416 buyers who came for the business convention (La Gazette France). The format therefore remains that of a mid-sized regional trade show, whose value lies in the density of industrial decision-makers from the north-east quarter of France rather than in volume. In 2025, 60 buyers had pre-registered for the business convention, including 8 from the Framatome group alone.
Events & community
Conference programme
The 2026 programme has not been published at this stage. The 2025 programme gives a sense of the format: a conference room and a TV set broadcast via live streaming, hosted by the region's institutional partners. The 2025 programme notably featured a DECA BFC and Village by CA session on financing innovative companies, a Dijon Bourgogne Invest round table on industrial reconditioning, an overview of employment, skills and training in regional inter-industry presented by OPCO 2i, and a workshop by ADEME BFC, the BFC Region, CCI Métropole de Bourgogne and AER BFC on SME and mid-cap commitment to decarbonisation. A CENIT workshop was devoted to 3D simulation and offline programming of robotic manufacturing processes.
The 2025 edition also staged "Les battles de l'industrie" (The Industry Battles), four contests pitting students from the UIMM 21 training centre against regional business leaders on the place of industry, the link between reindustrialisation and decarbonisation, the trade-off between competitiveness and ethics, and the attractiveness of industrial careers.
Awards and accolades
The trade show presents the Business Industries Awards. At the 5th edition, six exhibiting companies were recognised on the TV set, in categories labelled by the organiser: ANAIS (Production Robotics), GALILE (Energy Sobriety / Decarbonisation), 1000 SOLUTIONS (Co-contracting Project / Inter-company Partnership), ARDPI (Innovative Regional Solution), MOGRA (Best Stand) and ROBOTICS VALLEY (Judges' Favourite). The trophies are made by students of the École de Production 21 during their school year.
Community & networks
The trade show relies on three recurring initiatives. The business convention, run with the Vimeet matchmaking platform, offers pre-arranged B2B meetings at a buyers' village or directly on exhibitors' stands; participation is free for exhibitors, and invited buyers benefit from a pre-organised schedule, catering and, under certain conditions, accommodation.
The Forum Emploi - Métiers & Formations (Jobs Forum - Careers & Training) is run by the Avec l'Industrie brand and OPCO 2i, in partnership with the Réseau pour l'Emploi. It brings together a wall of job, apprenticeship and internship vacancies from Côte-d'Or industrial employers and a job-dating area announced with 28 companies, open from 9am to 4pm at stand A02. The second day is traditionally geared towards schoolchildren: in 2025, around 400 secondary school pupils were expected for immersive workshops run by the professional sectors (virtual reality headsets, a welding simulator, an introduction to leather goods, and an introduction to the pharmaceutical and crystal-making trades).
The Vitrine Made In Bourgogne Franche-Comté (Made In Bourgogne Franche-Comté Showcase) displays items manufactured in the region, at stand A01: close to 80 items at the last edition, contributed among others by Cristel, Yema, Michel Herbelin, Crossject, Sidel, Smoby, Vetoquinol and Métal Déployé.
The Village de l'IA (AI Village) completes the line-up with six fitted 6 m² spaces, reserved for suppliers of artificial intelligence solutions and services for industry.
On site: what you need to know
For access, parking and accommodation, see the venue page: Parc des Expositions et Congrès de Dijon. The venue has been operated since 2023 by the local public company Dijon Bourgogne Events and covers 31,000 m², with five exhibition halls (up to 12,000 m² for the largest), a 610-seat amphitheatre and twenty modular rooms. It is served directly by tram, eight minutes from Dijon's TGV station, ten minutes from the ring road, and has both covered and outdoor car parks.
Specific to the trade show: the organiser indicates entry via avenue des Grands Ducs d'Occident. Entry is free, upon creating an online visitor badge. In 2026 the trade show is held on a Wednesday and a Thursday, the first day being geared towards business and recruitment, the second opening more widely to school audiences. The exact opening hours for the 2026 edition have not yet been published. Revolugo is the official travel agency partner for the 2026 edition for hotel bookings.
Business Industries Dijon remains a one-day trade show for a targeted visitor: all exhibitors are gathered in a single hall, making it possible to complete a thorough visit without wasted time.

Preparing your visit
For the exhibitor
Official deadlines for the 2026 edition, as stated in the registration pack:
- 30% of the total amount payable upon booking the stand.
- 50% of the total amount payable by 31 May 2026.
- 10 August 2026: deadline for payment of the balance.
- 15 November 2026 (D-15): deadline for submitting the video clip for exhibitors who have taken out the paid Pack visibilité vidéo (Video Visibility Pack) option (€500 excl. VAT, screened at the trade show entrance).
- Mandatory insurance against damage to exhibited goods, taken out by the organiser, covering goods up to €2,847 excl. VAT and excluding plasma screens, computers and digital cameras.
Two decisions are worth settling early: registering for the business convention, which is free for exhibitors and determines the volume of qualified meetings, and the two-show Reims + Dijon pack if the company is also targeting the Grand Est region.
For the decision-making visitor
- Create your badge online before coming: entry is free but registration speeds up access.
- Register for the business meetings in advance by stating your needs: the organiser builds a schedule of meetings with matching suppliers, and the support includes welcome, catering and supplier information sheets.
- Come on the Wednesday for the business and recruitment density, as the Thursday is more geared towards schools.
- Identify the robotics showroom and the Village de l'IA in advance, as they concentrate the live demonstrations.
Policy & CSR initiatives
Business Industries Dijon does not publish a dedicated "Commitments" or "CSR" page, the event does not hold its own ISO 20121 certification, and its organiser, Promo-Salons, does not publish a group-wide CSR programme.
The only documented level of commitment is at the venue level. The Parc des Expositions et Congrès de Dijon is operated by the local public company Dijon Bourgogne Events, backed by the City of Dijon, Dijon métropole and the Département de la Côte-d'Or. The latter has launched an ISO 20121 certification process with the technical and financial support of Atout France, as part of its sustainable renovation plan for the venue, which includes the energy retrofitting of buildings and the installation of recycling and composting facilities (Journal du Palais, March 2024). The previous operator, the Dijon Congrexpo association, had already carried out ISO 20121 compliance work in 2017-2018.
This organisational commitment should be distinguished from the content of the programme. The trade show regularly devotes sessions to industrial decarbonisation, led by ADEME Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, the Region, the CCIs and the AER BFC, and the Business Industries Awards include an "Energy Sobriety / Decarbonisation" category (awarded to GALILE in 2025). These are programme themes, not commitments by the organiser regarding the footprint of its own event.

Trajectory analysis
Created in 2021, the trade show has doubled its number of exhibitors in five years, from 80 at the first edition to 151 companies listed in 2025, with attendance growing more slowly, at around 2,400 to 2,500 visitors. The 2025 edition marked a physical threshold, with hall 2 fully occupied for the first time, and the 2026 edition moves the event from late November to early December while launching Business Robotics, a specialised business convention designed with Robotics Valley and operated by Vimeet Events.
The positioning is clear and deliberate: Business Industries Dijon does not play in the same category as Global Industrie, the national benchmark, or Micronora, the biennial microtechnology event in Besançon that remains the leading industrial trade show in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. It occupies the niche of a regional business trade show with scheduled meetings, comparable to the SEPEM Industries circuit, with two distinctive strengths: a jobs and training component unusually developed for a trade show of this size, and a dense institutional backing (Region, ADEME, CCI, OPCO 2i, development agencies) that shapes the programme. The organiser has also replicated the format in Reims, where a sister trade show, Business Industries Reims, is announced for April 2027, with a combined pricing offer for exhibitors attending both locations.
Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (businessindustries-dijon.com).
