Key facts

  • The Congrès de l'AMF93 is the trade show for local authorities and businesses in Seine-Saint-Denis, run by the department's association of mayors. It combines a congress for elected officials, with plenary debates, and an exhibition of suppliers to municipalities.
  • Next edition: the 2nd, on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 March 2027, at the Parc des Expositions Paris Le Bourget, Hall 5, entrance via Gate L. Open 9:00 to 20:00 on Thursday and 9:00 to 18:00 on Friday.
  • Organiser: the Association des maires de Seine-Saint-Denis. The congress management, technical management and communication contacts can be reached at Groupe Médias (@groupemedias.com addresses on the Contacts page).
  • Annual frequency, according to the organiser. The 1st edition took place on 19 and 20 May 2026.
  • Free admission, restricted to trade visitors with a badge, with three separate forms: elected officials, local authority managers, companies.
  • No attendance figure or exhibitor count has been published for the 1st edition.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

The organiser describes its exhibitors by field of activity: urban development and housing, building, public works, roads, energy, ecological transition, environment, green spaces, mobility, transport, services to local authorities, unions and institutions.

The stand application form refines this scope: structural and finishing building work, engineering and design offices, water and sanitation, energy and urban lighting, waste and cleaning, property, equipment, banking, finance and insurance, transport and logistics, communication and events. In other words, the trades that respond to the public contracts of a municipality or inter-municipal body.

The sales pitch is direct: meet the decision-makers of local authorities, anticipate their expectations and build partnerships with public players in the department.

Notable exhibitors

No exhibitor list has been published for the 2027 edition: the floor plan section is announced as coming soon. Interested companies obtain the participation pack via the stand booking form.

Visitor quality

The targeted audience is that of local public action: municipalities, inter-municipal bodies, the Département, the Region, the Métropole, public bodies, plus private companies and start-ups. Badges are obtained through three separate forms, for elected officials, local authority managers and companies, which gives exhibitors visitors qualified by role.

The scope is departmental: Seine-Saint-Denis and its towns. For a supplier to local authorities aiming at the national scale, the benchmark event remains the Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Locales in Paris; the Congrès de l'AMF93 plays the proximity card, with the elected officials and services of a single territory.

Events & community

Conference programme

The 2027 programme is announced as coming soon on the official website. That of the 1st edition gives a sense of the format: an inauguration, five debates and a closing session, with videos available online. The five debates in 2026 covered the following themes:

  • École et Mairie : rôles, leviers et enjeux en Seine-Saint-Denis (schools and the town hall: roles, levers and issues)
  • Habitat social et renouvellement urbain : agir face aux urgences en Seine-Saint-Denis (social housing and urban renewal: responding to urgent needs)
  • Tranquillité publique et prévention : quelles responsabilités locales en Seine-Saint-Denis ? (public safety and prevention: what local responsibilities?)
  • Transition écologique et aménagement : quels leviers pour des villes durables ? (ecological transition and planning: what levers for sustainable cities?)
  • Santé : les communes en Seine-Saint-Denis face à la désertification médicale (health: municipalities facing medical deserts)

The spaces

The website presents three spaces. The Forum, open to all visitors, is presented as a place for exchanges with high-level speakers and people working in the field. The Librairie (bookshop) offers a selection of books for elected officials and local authority managers (public law, local authority management, public policy, regional planning) and signing sessions with political figures. The Restaurant du Congrès AMF93 completes the offer.

Community & networks

The congress relies on the Association des maires de Seine-Saint-Denis, created more than eight years ago according to its own presentation, and chaired by Mohamed Gnabaly, mayor of L'Île-Saint-Denis, who signs the editorial of the 2027 edition. Its stated ambition: to turn the department's development opportunities into concrete partnerships and projects between local authorities and businesses.

Press accreditations go through the association, via the Practical information page. The website links to a Facebook page and to the AMF93 LinkedIn page.

On site: what you need to know

The congress takes place at the Parc des Expositions Paris Le Bourget, in Hall 5, with entrance via Gate L. An access map in PDF format can be downloaded from the Practical information page of the official website.

2027 opening hours: 9:00 to 20:00 on Thursday 11 March, 9:00 to 18:00 on Friday 12 March. Admission is free but restricted to professionals with a badge, to be requested online; it gives access to the whole show on both days. Pre-registration reduces waiting time at reception.

For exhibitors, the technical documents for the 2027 edition (architecture and decoration rules, opening hours, set-up and dismantling information) are announced as coming soon on the Stand contractor information page.

How much does it cost to exhibit

The organiser does not publish any price list online: the participation pack is sent on request via the stand booking form. The amounts below are indicative orders of magnitude for a departmental-scale local authority trade show over two days. They are in no way the official rates of the Congrès de l'AMF93.
Poste de dépenseFourchette basseFourchette haute
Small equipped stand (on quotation)€2,000€8,000
Fit-out, furniture, signage and electricity€500€4,000
Staff on site (2 days) and catering€800€3,000
Communication, invitations to elected officials and materials€300€2,500
INDICATIVE TOTAL (2 days)~€3,600~€17,500

For a company based in Île-de-France, accommodation and transport weigh little: most of the budget goes on the stand and the sales team's time. Exact rates to be requested from the organiser.

Preparing your visit

For exhibitors

  • Request the participation pack early: the 1st edition took place in May, the 2nd has been brought forward to March, which tightens the preparation schedule.
  • Prepare local references: at a departmental trade show, a project or contract already delivered in a municipality of the 93 carries more weight than a national brochure.
  • Target the sessions linked to your offer: in 2026, housing, ecological transition, public safety and health were on the agenda of elected officials.
  • Invite elected officials and local authority managers in your sector by name: the badge is free, and a qualified visitor travels more readily by appointment.

For decision-maker visitors

  • Choose the right badge form (elected official, local authority manager or company) and register before the show.
  • Take advantage of the opening until 20:00 on Thursday for end-of-day meetings.
  • Spot the Forum's exchange sessions as soon as the 2027 programme is published.

CSR policy & initiatives

Neither the congress website nor its organiser publishes a formal CSR policy, carbon footprint or event-specific ISO 20121 certification. Ecological transition is among the 2026 debate themes and among the targeted exhibitor families, but that is programme content, not an organisational commitment.

Groupe Médias, whose addresses appear on the congress Contacts page, lists responsible and solidarity-based events among its event communication offers, without publishing a quantified approach specific to the Congrès de l'AMF93.

The venue provides a documented framework: Viparis, operator of the Parc des Expositions Paris Le Bourget, states that it achieved ISO 20121 certification across all its venues and activities as early as 2014, and pursues its Better Events strategy.

Trajectory analysis

The Congrès de l'AMF93 is a young event: a single edition held, in May 2026, and a second announced for March 2027. It is too early to speak of a quantified trajectory, as the organiser has published neither attendance nor exhibitor numbers for 2026.

Two signals can nonetheless be read. The show is settling into an annual calendar, which the organiser asserts and which the date already set for 2027 confirms. And it moves forward by two months, from May to March. For an exhibitor, the 2nd edition remains a bet on a rendezvous under construction: direct access to the elected officials of a single department, but no published attendance history against which to measure the return.

All data that does not mention its source comes from the organiser's website.

Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (congresamf93.fr).
