Key facts
- The Congrès International Esthétique & Spa is the professional trade show for aesthetics and spa, organised by two media brands, Les Nouvelles Esthétiques and Spa de Beauté. Despite its name, it is an exhibition trade show and not a scientific congress: brands, talks, demonstrations and competitions, under a format billed as « 1 événement, 2 univers » (one event, two worlds).
- Two worlds on two levels of Hall 5: the Univers Esthétique (cosmetics, eye care, nails, make-up, training) and the Village Spa (treatments, technology, treatment-room and spa equipment).
- Next edition: the 56th, from Saturday 6 to Monday 8 February 2027, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, 9am to 7pm. The calendar moves forward by two months: the 2025 and 2026 editions were held in mid-April.
- Organiser: Les Nouvelles Esthétiques, a Paris publishing company that has published the magazine of the same name since 1952. Annual event, created in 1957 by Humbert Pierantoni.
- Results of the 2026 edition, published by the organiser on 22 April 2026: 20,131 professional visitors, 284 exhibiting brands and 121 talks, a reported increase of 8% in visitors and 10% in exhibitors over 2025.
- Professionals only event, children under 14 not admitted, with a paid entry badge.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The offer is split between the two worlds. On the lower level, the Univers Esthétique brings together make-up, nails, eye care, services, training and shopping, with professional cosmetics, permanent make-up and hair removal. Upstairs, the Village Spa, created in 2010 at the heart of the Congrès, is organised into three areas: treatments, technology, and treatment-room and spa equipment, presented by the organiser as new.
The 2026 exhibitor list shows the real mix through its categories: cosmetics, organic and natural products, food supplements, eye technique, treatment-room and spa fit-out, treatment-room linen and professional clothing, IT and services, schools and training centres, federations and associations. Areas are reserved for young brands, trend-setting creators and niche brands in each of the two worlds.
Selling on the stand is limited to the Univers Esthétique, on level 0, where visitors buy their consumables and many exhibitors offer « Spécial Congrès » (special Congrès) prices; on level 1, in the Village Spa, exhibitors prioritise opening accounts and do not sell, according to the FAQ on the Practical information page. On the visitor side, the organiser highlights consumables purchases and order validation.
Notable exhibitors
The 2027 exhibitor list will go online on 15 December 2026, according to the dedicated page. The list shown there at the time of writing is the 2026 one.
For the 2026 edition, the site displayed three sponsors: Corpoderm, Italwax and LB Facialistes. Around fifteen brands federated by La French Beauty were announced among the exhibitors, including Absolution, AMOI Parfums, Blancrème, Guérande Cosmétiques, Ixage, Les Poulettes Paris, Omnisens, Ouate and Substance of Light. The 2026 results of the Prix H. Pierantoni de l'Innovation rewarded, among others, Anna Dermo for its made-to-measure areola prostheses, Biotical, BSM Technology with AAMS, Ericson Laboratoire and Ferrari Professional. None of these names is confirmed for 2027 at the time of writing.
Visitor quality
The site segments its audience into twelve profiles: hotel managers or directors, spa operators, spa managers, spa practitioners, beauty institute managers, beauticians working in institutes, beauticians working at clients' homes, students, teachers or trainers, beauty or spa schools, people retraining and project holders. On the Village Spa side, the target extends to thalassotherapy and thermal centres, day spas and luxury hotel spas.
For the 2026 edition, the organiser reports that 50% of visitors are decision-makers. This ratio and the attendance are figures supplied by the organiser: no OJS certification or third-party audit is published. The 20,000-visitor mark, according to the press release of 22 April 2026, had not been reached since the health crisis.
The site explicitly welcomes students, schools and people retraining, with student and teacher rates. For an exhibitor, this means a large but mixed flow, where the decision-maker rubs shoulders with the future graduate.
Activities & community
Talks programme
The organiser announces more than 120 talks and demonstrations across three speaking areas: the Esthétique conference room, the Spa conference room, on level 1, and the Plateau des Experts. The talks are presented as non-promotional and highly practical: legislation, management, marketing, sales, cosmetic ingredients, the evolution of the profession. Demonstrations are projected on giant screens, and the main stage hosts international champions.
In 2026, the Plateau des Experts notably hosted the Journée des Porteurs de Projets (project holders' day) and a day devoted to the career paths of beauticians. The 2027 programme was not published at the time of writing: the programme pages of the site are not yet online.
A useful point for exhibitors: the Exhibit page states that an exhibiting brand can book its own talk.
Competitions and trophies
The Congrès is also a stage for professional competitions. The article published on 6 October 2026 details four of them for the 2027 edition:
- the Concours du Meilleur Spa Praticien Corps de France (best body spa practitioner in France), held since 2014, in three categories (Freestyle on Saturday, Neuromuscular on Sunday, Energetic on Monday), with entries open until 28 January 2027;
- the Concours du Meilleur Spa Praticien Visage de France (best facial spa practitioner in France), created in 2025, which will be held for the second time on 6 and 7 February;
- the Trophée de l'Esthéticienne Engagée (committed beautician trophy), created in 2024 by Phyt's, which rewards an ecological, social and human approach, with an award ceremony on 8 February 2027 at 12.30pm on the main Esthétique stage;
- the Trophée du Meilleur Soin Signature (best signature treatment trophy), in two categories, Spa and Institute, with applications open until 1 December 2026.
On the brand side, the Prix H. Pierantoni de l'Innovation rewards products and solutions launched less than a year ago. In 2026, its jury of 22 professionals awarded only 10 prizes, compared with 15 in other years according to the organiser. The opening of entries for 2027 is announced as forthcoming. The ceremony is announced for Saturday 6 February 2027 on the main stage of the Esthétique conference room, and entry is restricted to exhibiting brands.
Community & networks
The organiser's asset is its own audience: Les Nouvelles Esthétiques, a monthly magazine launched in January 1952 and presented as present in 20 countries, and Spa de Beauté, a title dedicated to spa professionals. The organiser completes the offer with a continuing training centre, webinars and podcasts, and a second event format, the Rencontres Esthétique & Spa, one edition of which was scheduled in Lille on 27 September 2026.
Decision-making visitors have access to a business meeting platform with exhibitors, included in the badge. In 2026, it was operated by the provider BBC Meet. Each exhibitor also has a dedicated page on the Congrès website, and the organiser's communication campaign starts in December.
On site: what you need to know
The Congrès occupies Hall 5 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, in the 15th arrondissement. The floor plan for the 2027 edition will be unveiled on 3 February 2027.
Access by metro on line 12, Porte de Versailles station, or line 8, Balard station; by tram on lines T2 and T3, Porte de Versailles stop; by bus on lines 39, 49, 80 and PC. By car, leave the inner ring road (périphérique) at Porte de la Plaine or Porte de Versailles, and the outer one at Porte de Sèvres or Porte de Versailles. The car park closest to Hall 5 is Parking 6, and booking is recommended.
The trade show is open from 9am to 7pm on all three days, from Saturday to Monday. The travel agency Revolugo is the Congrès's official accommodation partner, and the Practical information page publishes Air France and KLM discount codes valid for travel between 30 January and 15 February 2027.
Entry is paid. The price list shown on the Practical information page at the time of writing sets the on-site rate at the reception desk at €45 per day. Online, the full price is €45, €90 or €135 incl. VAT for one, two or three days, and reduced rates exist for magazine subscribers, students and teachers, as well as an offer combining a badge and a six-month subscription. Ticketing for the 2027 edition opens in December 2026, according to the organiser's website: prices are to be reconfirmed at that date.

|---|---|---|
| Space and fitted stand, 9 to 18 m² (indicative) | €3,500 | €10,000 |
| Fit-out: demonstration treatment room, furniture, electricity, signage | €1,500 | €8,000 |
| Demonstration products, samples and point-of-sale material | €500 | €3,000 |
| On-site staff (3 days, including a weekend), travel, accommodation | €1,500 | €6,000 |

In the Univers Esthétique (level 0), the stand is also a point of sale and demonstration: plan for stock. In the Village Spa (level 1), selling on the stand is not practised, the aim is opening accounts. In both cases, plan for a treatment room or treatment station and practitioners able to demonstrate continuously. The Saturday-to-Monday calendar weighs on staff costs. Prices to be requested from the organiser.
Preparing your visit
For exhibitors
- Book early: the Exhibit page urges booking now to benefit from the best offers on space, visibility and communication.
- Anticipate the change of calendar: with an edition in early February instead of mid-April, the production schedule for samples and new products is shortened by two months.
- Fill in your exhibitor page on the Congrès website and register on the meeting platform: decision-makers prepare their visit there.
- Aim for a speaking slot, by booking a brand talk or by entering the Prix H. Pierantoni de l'Innovation for a product launched less than a year ago.
- Plan continuous demonstrations: this is what practitioners come for, before buying or opening an account.
For decision-making visitors
- Buy your badge online as soon as ticketing opens in December: the rate is higher at the reception desk.
- Prepare meetings with brands on the platform included in the badge.
- Target the Spa conference room, whose stated objective is the profitability of the establishment (RevPAR and recruitment are among the questions the Village Spa highlights), or the Esthétique room for management and legislation.
- Consult the exhibitor list put online on 15 December and the floor plan published on 3 February to build your route across the two levels.
CSR policy & initiatives
The Congrès does not publish a formalised CSR policy: the site has no Commitments or Sustainability section, and no carbon footprint assessment or ISO 20121 certification for the event. The website of the organiser, Les Nouvelles Esthétiques, does not present a group CSR programme either.
The subject does appear in the content, however. The Trophée de l'Esthéticienne Engagée, created by Phyt's, singles out professionals who integrate ecological, social and human dimensions into their business: natural or certified organic cosmetics, reduced environmental impact, solidarity projects, accessibility of services. Eco-responsibility is also among the five criteria of the Trophée du Meilleur Soin Signature.
The venue provides a verifiable framework: Viparis, operator of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, states that in 2014 it was the world's first events operator certified ISO 20121 across all of its sites, and has since 2018 been rolling out a sustainable development strategy called Better Events.

Trajectory analysis
The history of the Congrès follows that of its magazine. Born in 1957 in the spa town of Molitg-les-Bains, it moved the following year to the Hôtel Continental in Paris, joined the Palais des Congrès de Versailles in the early 1970s, where it then welcomed 7,500 beauticians a year, and then the Palais des Congrès de Paris, Porte Maillot. Having become too big, it then moved to Hall 5 of Porte de Versailles. The 1999 edition, marked by the death of its founder, had brought together 12,000 professionals, a record at the time.
The extension to spa dates from 2010, with the creation of the Village Spa and of the Spa de Beauté title, after consulting the exhibiting brands. This second world is what now distinguishes the Congrès from a purely aesthetics trade show: it brings in hoteliers, spa directors and thalassotherapy centres, establishments that also buy equipment and fit-out, not just consumables.
Recent figures show a clear recovery: for 2026 the organiser announces that it passed 20,000 visitors, a first since the health crisis, and a record number of exhibiting brands. The shift from April to February in 2027 is the most structural change for exhibitors. The site does not explain it. For an exhibitor, it brings forward the year's major event by two months and shortens the preparation of new products by the same amount.
The business remains family-run across three generations: Michèle de Lattre, the founder's daughter, is its manager, and Laure Jeandemange, her daughter, editor-in-chief of the two magazines, builds the talks programme.
The dates of the 2028 edition had not been announced at the time of writing.
