Key takeaways
- FlorEvent is the B2B trade show for florists and plant-industry professionals, held in France since 2016. Its principle is to change major city from one edition to the next to reach professionals in their own catchment area. The website presents it as "le seul salon itinérant dédié à la filière fleur et plantes" (the only touring trade show dedicated to the flower and plant industry).
- Next edition: Sunday 14 and Monday 15 March 2027, at OcéaNice, on the port of Nice. Opening hours: Sunday 10am-7pm, Monday 9am-6pm.
- Organiser: AMF Organisation, a company based in Carpentras. Annual frequency.
- Published format: 50 to 70 exhibitors per show and 1,500 to 2,000 qualified visitors per edition, according to the Nantes 2026 exhibitor pack. Last edition: more than 1,600 visitors in Nantes in March 2026. The organiser states that 80% of visitors are florists.
- Free entry on registration, reserved for professionals. The programme is released on 19 January 2027 and the exhibitor list in February 2027.
- The only published price list is the Nantes 2026 one, from €1,250 excl. VAT for 6 m² to €3,950 excl. VAT for 27 m². Terms for Nice 2027 are available on request via the exhibitor form.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The show brings together suppliers, growers and wholesalers face to face with their direct customers: the shops. The exhibitor categories on the website outline the offer: flowers and plants, dried, preserved and artificial, decoration and containers, supplies and packaging, candles, fragrances and gifts, communication and services, software, training centres, networks and franchises, professional bodies.
Exhibitors are selected: the 2026 rules leave the admission decision to the organiser, who may also exclude products judged off-topic. They also forbid subletting or sharing a stand without written consent. Co-exhibiting is handled on quotation.
For a brand, the appeal lies in the format: two days, a tight offer, and the stated argument that every visitor has time to see all the exhibitors.
Notable exhibitors
The Nice 2027 exhibitor list is announced for February 2027. No name is therefore confirmed for this edition at this stage.
For reference, the Thursd report cites for Nantes 2026 Hortisud, Florajet, Rosedor Penja, the Collectif de la Fleur Française, Agora, Moinet & Fils, Brindici, Bertille & Camomille, Renaud Distribution, GRD Fydec and the Piverdie school, as well as the promotion collectives Coloured by Gerbera and JustChrys. In 2025 in Lyon, the official website featured the Interflora stand. As the show changes city, these appearances do not predict those of Nice.
Visitor quality
The show is aimed at florists, floral designers, garden centres, growers, wholesalers, schools and event professionals. Entry is reserved for professionals.
For Nantes 2026, Thursd gives the breakdown of 1,635 trade visitors: 82% florists (shops, events and other floral businesses), 13% floral art students, 5% other professionals (buyers, garden centres, landscapers).
The exhibitors interviewed by Thursd in Nantes speak in concrete terms. Florajet, for example, aims for about ten new network contracts over the two days. No OJS certification or third-party audit of attendance is published: these figures are the organiser's, or are relayed from it by the trade press.
Programme & community
Conference programme
The Nice 2027 programme will be available on 19 January 2027. In Nantes in 2026, according to Thursd, the podium hosted a trends conference by Manuel Rucar of the Chlorosphère agency, a Monday-morning round table on French production and imports, and demonstrations by floral designers including Frédéric Dupré, Stéphane Chanteloube, Benoît Barbin and Olivier Seghin. These names apply to 2026 only.
Concours du Meilleur Scénographe Floral & Végétal (Best Floral & Plant Scenographer competition)
The 2027 competition is open. Its rules set the theme "Le Monde de Narnia - Le bois d'entre les mondes": a display built in a second-hand wardrobe, around an exceptional object supplied by a sponsor chosen by the candidate. Entry fee of €360 excl. VAT, refunded if not selected, applications before 31 December 2026, selection announced by 31 January 2027 at the latest. The tests are scheduled in public on Sunday 14 March from 10am to 6pm, with the results announced on Monday early in the morning on the podium.
The lever for an exhibitor is written into the rules: candidates may approach the show's exhibitors for flowers, plants, supplies and accessories, and any sponsors must be named by 15 February 2027 at the latest. The jury shown on the website is still the 2026 one: it included visual merchandising managers from Disneyland Paris, the Auchan group, H&M and Louis Vuitton.
La Fleur de l'Année (Flower of the Year)
Growers, wholesalers and suppliers enter one or two varieties, which are put to a public vote on Facebook and Instagram, then displayed on a dedicated stand and awarded on the show's podium. In 2026: 20 varieties, more than 1,700 votes and one winner, the Anemone Levante entered by Agora group, with nearly 15% of the votes. The same page already invites entries for the 2027 edition. The competition is organised with Chlorosphère. The 2026 entry fee was shown at €300 in the website's shop; the 2027 amount is not published.
La Battle des Écoles (Schools Battle)
Teams from floral schools compete in timed challenges, without a jury: the biggest, the sturdiest, the most resistant wins. The 2027 challenges are announced: "Le Masque de Carnaval Géant" at 11:30am, "Le Sceptre du Roi du Carnaval" at 12:30pm and, in the final at 2:30pm, "La Tenue de Samba 100 % Compostable". Registration is free for schools. The Lycée Paul Langevin won the 2026 edition.
Community & networks
DigiFlor, the show's digital platform, extends suppliers' presence throughout the year with articles, brand profiles and a newsletter. Its dedicated page shows more than 17,000 professionals reached and a newsletter sent to more than 13,000 contacts. The website also relays the Guide des Collections, published every year by Chlorosphère, and FlorEvent is partnering with the Gala des Saisons, held on 8 December 2026 at the Théâtre de la Madeleine in Paris.
On the press side, the trade media outlet Thursd follows the show and publishes its reports. The president of the Fédération française des artisans fleuristes (French federation of florist artisans) attended in Nantes in 2026.
On site: what you need to know
The show is held at OcéaNice, the congress centre on the port of Nice, Quai Amiral Infernet, which opened in 2025 with the United Nations Ocean Conference. The site totals 10,000 m², including a 4,000 m² hall. The organiser states an exhibition area of 2,500 m² without tying it to a particular edition: the layout chosen in Nice is not published.
Tramway line 2 links Nice Côte d'Azur airport to the Port Lympia terminus in about 25 minutes, then a 5-minute walk. The city centre is a 10-minute walk away. The Lympia public car park is a few metres away, at €1.40 per hour according to OcéaNice. The venue lists 4,000 rooms within a 20-minute walk.
At the show, FlorEvent announces fast-food catering, as well as a cloakroom and left-luggage service, two useful services for anyone leaving on Monday evening. The practical information page points to accommodation platforms. The set-up and dismantling schedule for Nice is not published: the competition rules only state that candidates may drop off their equipment on Saturday 13 March.

| 27 m² stand | €3,555 | €3,950 |
| Additional 9 m² module, beyond 27 m² | €981 | €1,090 |
| Compulsory power supply, 3 kW or 6 kW | €250 | €390 |

| Advertising in the programme given to visitors, quarter page or full page | €250 | €400 |
| EXAMPLE, 9 m² stand and 3 kW | €1,690 | €1,850 |
| EXAMPLE, 18 m² stand and 6 kW | €2,982 | €3,270 |
The stand includes partitions, carpet and one LED strip light per 9 m². Transport, accommodation, goods and staff are still to be added: no amount is published, as they depend on your starting point. The 2026 price list provides for a 50% deposit and no refund if the exhibitor cancels.
The Nantes 2026 registration pack also details membership of FlorEvent-Le Club, at €395 excl. VAT for the year 2026: 10% off the stand, a supplier directory in the show magazine, preferential rates on e-mailing and DigiFlor. The arithmetic is simple: the discount alone only pays back the membership from the 27 m² stand upwards. Below that, the rest of the programme has to justify it.
DigiFlor is paid for separately: Essentiel programme at €790 excl. VAT per year, Premium at €990 excl. VAT, with a preferential rate for exhibitors and Club members, not quantified on the page.
Preparing your visit
For exhibitors
- Request the Nice pack now via the form: exhibitor selection and stand allocation are up to the organiser.
- Check what changes with the venue. The free exhibitor parking and public Wi-Fi in the 2026 pack are written for Nantes: nothing indicates that they apply in Nice.
- Plan for a team available on a Sunday and a Monday.
- Prepare the seasonal offer: the show takes place two weeks before Easter, on 28 March 2027.
- Aim for the scenographer competition or the Flower of the Year if you supply plants or an object to showcase: these are the two formats that give visibility beyond the stand, with a deadline of 15 February 2027 for sponsors of the first.
For decision-making visitors
- The badge is free on registration. The website offers free membership to receive the alert when badges open for Nice 2027. An undated page on the website announces €10 on site with proof of professional status.
- Look at the programme published on 19 January 2027 to plan your meetings around the podium.
- Consult the exhibitor list of February 2027 to identify suppliers you do not come across at your usual wholesaler.
CSR policy & initiatives
The show publishes no CSR policy, no carbon footprint assessment and no ISO 20121 certification. The website has no dedicated section, and AMF Organisation publishes no programme of its own. The only "Développement durable" (sustainable development) article on the blog presents the approach of a supplier, Van der Plas: it does not amount to a commitment by the show.
A few elements relate to content: the 2027 final of the Schools Battle requires a 100% compostable outfit, with no synthetic or metal ties, and the scenography competition rules favour techniques without synthetic products and reusable structures. In 2026, the round table on French production and imports addressed traceability and responsible sourcing, according to Thursd.
The venue contributes more. OcéaNice presents itself as a demountable building: 94% of materials reusable, recyclable or re-employable, modules reused from the 2024 Olympic Games, photovoltaic panels and rainwater recovery. OcéaNice's website says it is committed to ISO 20121 certification without announcing that it has been obtained, and the Nice Côte d'Azur destination page mentions a commitment to the ISO 20121 approach.

Trajectory analysis
The website shows ten editions since 2016 and celebrated the show's tenth anniversary in Nantes in 2026, but lists only the last five. Over those five editions, the show has toured Lyon, Paris, Bordeaux and Nantes, returning to Lyon in 2025: touring does not rule out going back to a city already visited.
Attendance varies with the city: more than 2,000 visitors announced in Lyon in 2025 according to Thursd, more than 1,600 in Nantes in 2026. The exhibitor pack frames these differences within a range of 1,500 to 2,000 visitors. An exhibitor therefore reasons less on a national figure than on the catchment area served at each stop.
Of the editions listed, Nice is the first stop on the Côte d'Azur. The Nantes 2026 pack ranks the PACA region first in French cut-flower production, which brings the show closer to growers such as those of the Var. The unknown remains attendance: Nice does not have Lyon's central position, and no figure yet allows the appeal of this stop to be measured among florists from the rest of France. The first indicator will be the exhibitor list of February 2027.
The 2028 edition had not been announced at the time of writing.
