Key takeaways
- SETT, the Salon Européen des Tendances Touristiques (European Tourism Trends Show), is the leading trade show for the outdoor accommodation industry: mobile homes and rental accommodation, swimming pools, play equipment, green spaces, and equipment and services for campsites. It is open to professionals only.
- Next edition: the 47th, from Tuesday 3 to Thursday 5 November 2026, at the Parc des Expositions de Montpellier, in Pérols. A free visitor badge is available on pre-registration.
- Organiser: the Fédération de l'Hôtellerie de Plein Air Occitanie (FHPA Oc), the trade association for campsites in Occitanie, with five partner regional federations. General management is entrusted to the company CODE EVENTS.
- Annual frequency, every year in November. Founded in 1978 by the Languedoc outdoor accommodation federation.
- 2025 wrap-up: 20,215 professional visitors, 13% of them from abroad, and more than 700 exhibitors across 60,000 m².
- Two new features in 2026: the Sett Hospitality brand, with a hall entirely devoted to cafés, hotels and restaurants, and the hosting of the 52nd Congress of the Fédération Nationale de l'Hôtellerie de Plein Air (FNHPA).
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The offer is organised into seven universes, each tied to its own halls: Equipment, Catering equipment, Green spaces, Rental accommodation, Games & Leisure, Pools & Wellness, Services & communication. In practice, you will find manufacturers of mobile homes, canvas lodges and unusual accommodation, water treatment and swimming pool specialists, suppliers of play areas, outdoor furniture and lighting, digital solution providers, insurers, energy suppliers and specialist consultancies.
In 2026, the trade show adds Sett Hospitality, a staged walkthrough set up in hall B1 and aimed at professionals from cafés, hotels and restaurants: kitchens and equipment, fit-out and design, operations and management, everyday services, food and drink products. The organiser justifies it by the convergence of the two trades. Its president summed it up in the February 2026 press release: "For several years now, campsites have definitively turned the page on the simple snack bar to welcome genuine cafés, restaurants and accommodation offers reaching the standards of conventional hotels". UMIH Occitanie, the trade organisation for cafés, hotels and restaurants, is due to have a stand in this hall.
Notable exhibitors
The 2026 exhibitor list is published alongside an interactive floor plan. Notable names include, on the accommodation side, Bio Habitat (brands IRM, O'Hara and Coco Sweet), Résidences Trigano, Trigano HPA and Louisiane by Sunshine Habitat; on the equipment, energy and fit-out side, Atlantic, Delabie, Primagaz and Colas France; among trade media, the Éditions Larivière with Décisions HPA.
The official exhibitor list uses pictograms to flag exhibitors nominated for the Sett d'Or awards, those who have signed the EcoSett charter and those taking part in the prize draw. In 2026 the trade show also highlights exhibitors offering solutions that incorporate artificial intelligence, with a dedicated "I.A" icon. The New products 2026 page presents the products launched at the trade show, with each exhibitor's stand number.
For the 2026 edition, the organiser is announcing more than 730 exhibitors, including more than a hundred international exhibitors. These are figures announced before the trade show, not a wrap-up.
Quality of the audience
The trade show is aimed at managers of campsites, holiday cottages and bed and breakfasts, operators of cafés, hotels, restaurants and beach businesses, directors of leisure parks and holiday villages, and managers and technical officers of local authorities.
The 20,215 visitors in 2025 are unique visitors, calculated from individual badge registrations at the entrance, according to the organiser's wrap-up press release. Attendance is reported as up 8.7% on 2024, and foreign attendance (13% of visitors) as up 41.3%, with visitors from Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Belgium and Portugal. No OJS certification or third-party audit is published.
The European dimension has been an openly stated priority since the name change in early 2025. For 2026, the organiser announces the arrival of delegations from the federations of Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Belgium and Portugal, members of the EFCO, the European federation for the sector. It also announces that SETT will host the EFCO's annual general meeting in 2027.
Events & community
Conference programme
The 2026 conference programme takes place in the Conference Centre, across all three days. Topics announced include: recruiting seasonal workers, drones and robots applied to campsite security and reception, knowledge of tourist customer groups presented by Hérault Tourisme, and excessive water consumption.
The 52nd FNHPA Congress is added to this. The national federation has held its congress since 1974 at various regional trade shows; SETT hosts it in 2026, as it hosted the 50th in 2024. The programme includes: social news, a season review with Atout France, tax risks in business transfers, legal and regulatory updates for camping, the presentation of the Trophées du développement durable (sustainable development trophies), and the FNHPA General Assembly on Wednesday 4 November at 10am.
FNHPA members can also book Expert Meetings: free one-to-one 20-minute sessions with specialists, in particular in employment law, urban planning and asset strategy. On Thursday 5 November, the 5th edition of the Student Workshop has teams of students play the role of campsite managers.
Prizes and awards
The Sett d'Or Innovation Trophy rewards 5 exhibiting companies each year, chosen by a jury of outdoor accommodation professionals, in partnership with Décisions magazine. The presentation takes place on Tuesday 3 November 2026 at 6pm. In 2025, more than 60 companies entered; the winners were Syclope Electronique, Alpilink Groupe, Carré Rouge, Geek Tonic and Acquaecologie/Biomicrobics. The 2026 candidates are presented online with their stand.
The Sett Awards, created in 2021 and run by FHPA Occitanie, reward campsite managers who are members of the partner federations. The 2026 edition, the 6th, has seven categories: Entertainment, Ecology, Green Spaces, Family-Generation, Unusual, Dream Spot and Favourite. The winners are announced on Wednesday 4 November at 6pm.
Community & networks
SETT is first and foremost a federations' trade show. FHPA Occitanie organises it in association with the outdoor accommodation federations of Auvergne, Bourgogne Franche-Comté, Corsica, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Rhône-Alpes. Some hold their members' meetings there, and the trade show schedules three evenings: on Monday 2 November, an evening sponsored by Elaia (Geek Tonic), whose page does not specify the venue; on Tuesday 3 November, an evening sponsored by Bio Habitat, Hall A1; on Wednesday 4 November, a closing evening with free access with a Camping, CHR (cafés, hotels, restaurants) or Exhibitor badge (exhibitor access subject to conditions). The first two are paid and require registration.
On the press side, the trade show relies on the outdoor accommodation trade press: Décisions magazine is a partner of the Sett d'Or, and L'Officiel des Terrains de Camping becomes a media partner of the Sett Awards in 2026.
On site: what you need to know
The trade show occupies the halls of the Parc des Expositions de Montpellier, route de la Foire, in the commune of Pérols. The Conference Centre is located in hall B5, which also serves as the delivery entrance.
By tram, line 3 towards Pérols, Étang de l'Or, stops at Parc Expo, about 20 minutes from Montpellier Saint-Roch station. Montpellier Sud de France station is less than 4 km from the exhibition park, 3 hours 16 minutes from Paris Gare de Lyon on a direct train. Montpellier-Méditerranée airport is 5 minutes away. By car, take the A9 motorway, exit Montpellier-Est, then the expressway towards Aéroport. Parking is free for exhibitors and visitors.
2026 opening hours: Tuesday 3 November from 10am to 7.30pm, Wednesday 4 November from 9am to 7.30pm, Thursday 5 November from 9am to 5pm. Access is restricted to professionals, with a free visitor badge to request online before the trade show.
How much it costs to exhibit
| Poste de dépense | Fourchette basse | Fourchette haute |
|---|---|---|
| Stand space, 9 to 18 m² (indicative) | €2,500 | €8,000 |
| Stand fit-out, furniture, electricity | €1,500 | €8,000 |
| Transport and installation of bulky products (accommodation, play area) | €1,000 | €10,000 |
| Team travel, accommodation and meals (3 days) | €1,500 | €5,000 |
| INDICATIVE SECTOR TOTAL, assuming 3 days of trade show | ~€6,500 | ~€31,000 |
The variable that tips the budget is the nature of the product exhibited: a manufacturer of mobile homes or play areas exhibits at full scale, over large areas and sometimes outdoors, whereas a software publisher makes do with a fitted stand. Exact prices to be requested from the general management.
Preparing your visit
For the exhibitor
- Book hotels early: the trade show refers you to the Montpellier tourist office's booking service and advises booking ahead.
- Register your new products on the dedicated page of the website and, for an innovation, apply for the Sett d'Or Innovation Trophy: the Sett d'Or route on the interactive floor plan guides visitors to the candidates.
- Sign the EcoSett charter to have the corresponding logo in the catalogue, on the website and in the trade show app, along with a dedicated route; for a solution linked to artificial intelligence, request the "I.A" icon by sending a description, a visual, a link and the signed charter.
- Put the evenings in the team's diary: two evenings are paid and require registration; the Wednesday evening is free with a badge.
For the decision-making visitor
- Request your badge online before the trade show, and consult the exhibitor list, which can be filtered by universe, by hall and by pictogram.
- For a catering project, start with the Sett Hospitality route in hall B1, then complete it with the other halls: terraces and green spaces (A3, A6), pools and wellness (A3, A6), rental accommodation (A4, B2).
- Book an Expert Meeting if you are a member of a federation: booking is compulsory.
- Pick out in the programme the FNHPA Congress sessions on regulation and taxation, included in the three days of the trade show.
Policy & CSR initiatives
SETT publishes a dedicated page on its eco-responsible actions. After two years of support, the trade show obtained the bronze medal of the LEAD label (Green Événements and SGS) in 2023, validating 9 measures out of 12, including the 6 compulsory ones. The label targets three ambitions: zero waste, net zero carbon and positive social impact.
The measures displayed are concrete: removal since 2022 of 15,000 m² of carpet in the aisles, reception desks reusable for four years, sorting bins, water fountains, recycling of cigarette butts and recovery of badge holders, a reduction in printed catalogues in favour of the app, and charging points for electric vehicles in car park B. The caterer Cabiron, a long-standing partner, is ISO 20121 certified.
On the exhibitors' side, EcoSett has, since 2019, promoted those who sign a charter and present a product or service that is part of a sustainable approach. This declarative scheme should, however, be distinguished from independent verification of the products.
The venue brings a third level: the Parc des Expositions de Montpellier is managed by SPL Occitanie Events, ISO 20121 certified by AFNOR since 2021 for the management of its sites.

Trajectory analysis
The trade show is stable in exhibition size, between 700 and 730 exhibitors since 2023 and 60,000 m² in both 2023 and 2025, and growing in attendance: 18,348 visitors in 2023, more than 18,600 in 2024, 20,215 in 2025. The organiser specifies that the 2025 figure is counted in unique visitors from badges; the method used in previous years is not detailed, which calls for reading the growth with caution.
The underlying movement is one of broadening. Until 2024, the trade show was called the Salon des Équipements et Techniques du Tourisme (Tourism Equipment and Techniques Show) and spoke mainly to campsite managers. In early 2025, it kept its acronym but took the name Salon Européen des Tendances Touristiques to assert a European ambition. In 2026, Sett Hospitality opens it up to cafés, hotels and restaurants, building on the rapprochement with UMIH Occitanie. For an outdoor accommodation supplier, SETT remains the sector's central meeting point; for a CHR supplier, it becomes a way in to campsites that are moving upmarket on catering.
The next edition is announced for 2 to 4 November 2027.
