Agoris analysis · updated October 2026

Key takeaways

  • Siec is the trade show for commercial property: landlords, developers, shopping centre managers, property consultants, expanding retail brands and local authorities meet for two days to negotiate site locations and retail-space projects.
  • Next edition: Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 June 2027, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Pavilion 6. The Gala evening is announced for the day before, Tuesday 8 June 2027, in the reception rooms of the Hôtel de Ville de Paris.
  • A trade show of the FACT, Fédération des Acteurs du Commerce dans les Territoires, organised by Comexposium. Annual event.
  • Results of the 21st edition, 10 and 11 June 2026: over 115 exhibitors and 4,320 participants, including 1,200 professionals representing more than 800 retail brands and 170 public-sector representatives. Nearly 1,000 business meetings were organised through the Business Meetings service.
  • Strictly reserved for retail and commercial property professionals. Entry is free for retail brands and public authorities, and paid for landlords, asset managers and service providers.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

Siec presents itself as a multi-sector transactional platform: town-centre retail, shopping centres, travel retail, outlets, retail parks, high street retail, temporary retail, pop-up stores, click and collect, digital stores. Exhibitors are first and foremost those who own, develop, manage or commercialise space: landlords, developers, site managers, station operators, transaction advisers.

Around this core, four themed pavilions host the services ecosystem: Enseignes (retail brands), Loisirs (leisure), Marketing & Data, and Startups & Innovations. In 2026, the new exhibitors included indoor mapping, gift card, footfall analysis, space design, entertainment and leisure solutions. The Enseignes Pavilion offers expanding brands a desk rather than a stand, with a pitch on stage to present their location project.

Notable exhibitors

The Exhibit page lists, for the 2026 edition and specifying that the list is not exhaustive: Altarea Carmila, Altarea Commerce, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, Nhood, SCC, Immo Mousquetaires, SNCF Retail & Connexions, Mercialys, Klépierre, Apsys, Savills, Newmark, Knight Frank, CBRE, Sergic, Frey, Sudeco, Accessite, Multi France, BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory France, EOL Commerce, Terranae and Redevco. The 2026 results name KFC, Belchou, Constellation, Altarea Commerce and Nhood among the major partners.

The full list is published on the official website's exhibitor page, which still showed the 2026 edition at the time of writing. No 2027 exhibitor has been announced to date.

Quality of the audience

The audience is the show's central argument: retail brands come looking for locations, and landlords come to meet them. In 2026, 1,200 professionals representing more than 800 retail brands were among the visitors, along with 170 public-sector representatives. The website publishes the list of brands present in 2026, from fast food to home furnishings, as well as a downloadable brand guide detailing their development areas and store formats.

The pricing policy filters the audience: free entry for representatives of retail brands and public authorities, shopping centre directors, directors of retailers' associations or GIEs (economic interest groupings) and journalists; paid entry for landlords, asset managers, service providers and agencies working for a retail brand. Attendance figures are those communicated by the organiser.

Events & community

Conference programme

The 2027 programme has not been published: a call for speakers is open, favouring senior or C-level profiles from retail and major brands. It cites as the key trends of 2026 retail as a place to live, the renewal of physical retail, the rise of travel retail, digital, data and AI, the attractiveness of territories and sustainability.

The 2026 edition, held under the theme “Le commerce, ça se vit”, featured 15 sessions of conferences, workshops and pitches led by more than 70 commercial property experts, live interviews on the Radio Immo set and pitch sessions in each of the four pavilions. The visitor pass gives access to the conferences.

Business Meetings and Enseignes Programme

The Business Meetings service, reserved for registered visitors, lets them schedule meetings in advance with exhibitors matching their projects: nearly 1,000 meetings were organised this way in 2026. The Enseignes Programme, developed in partnership with the federation representing specialised retail, gives expanding brands access to the Club Enseignes by KFC, reserved for retail decision-makers, and targeted meetings through the matchmaking platform.

Awards and highlights

The FACT presents its awards during the show: the presentation appears in the 2026 results. In 2023, the Trophées des Acteurs du Commerce, 24th edition, rewarded in particular shopping site renovations, multifunctional projects, local CSR and marketing initiatives and projects by local authorities in the Action cœur de ville programme.

The Gala evening is the other networking event. It brought together 400 people in 2026, around a dinner created by Frédéric Simonin, a Michelin-starred chef and Meilleur Ouvrier de France, with Cultures Food. The 2027 edition will take place on Tuesday 8 June in the reception rooms of the Hôtel de Ville de Paris. The 2026 results also mention the SIEC On The Rocks evening.

Community & networks

The show is the FACT's own, held under its patronage, and it lists among its 2026 institutional partners trade organisations including Procos, the CCI, the Conseil du Commerce de France, the Fédération Française de la Franchise, the FCD, Alliance du Commerce, the CMCV, the Fédération du commerce coopératif et associé and Italy's Confimprese. At Comexposium, Siec has been run since March 2026 by Cyril Szczerbakow, event manager, alongside Annabelle Serres, events director.

On the press side, the website lists 2026 media partners, including Radio Immo, Business Immo, LSA, Points de vente, Stratégies and Sites Commerciaux.

The Radio Immo set hosts live interviews during the show.

Siec is not the only commercial property event: MAPIC, in Cannes, takes an international approach in the autumn. Siec takes place in Paris and focuses on territories: 170 public-sector representatives attended in 2026, and town-centre retail is among its listed segments.

Preparing your visit

For the exhibitor

  • Schedule meetings in advance: most of the value lies in the Business Meetings service and in the brands identified in the brand guide.
  • Choose your pavilion according to your offer: a provider of marketing or data solutions will have more visibility in the Marketing & Data Pavilion than in a general aisle.
  • Plan the number of passes: team passes are ordered through the exhibitor area, with a single email address per person.
  • Aim for a speaking slot: the 2027 call for speakers is open on the website.
  • Decide early on attending the Gala on 8 June: the 2027 registration form asks for registration before 14 May 2027, at €430 excl. VAT per person for a FACT member and €575 excl. VAT for a non-member.

For the decision-making visitor

  • Check your status before registering: free entry applies to employees of the retail brand represented, with a professional email address; an agent only benefits on certification from the brand's management.
  • Schedule your Business Meetings as soon as the platform opens.
  • Download the brand guide to target expanding brands in your areas.
  • Bring your named pass: it cannot be transferred and is requested at every entry to and exit from the show.

Policy & CSR initiatives

Siec publishes a CSR charter. At the show: removal of aisle carpeting, meaning 4,800 m² less waste, fewer printed materials, badges and documents in recycled paper and card, reusable stands and eco-responsible materials for the various areas, and signage reduced by 20% compared with the previous edition. In Pavilion 6: an on-site sorting centre, water fountains, electricity certified as green in origin, 18 charging points for electric cars. For Pavilion 6, the show's charter cites the BREEAM Bespoke, Effinergie+ and HQE designations; Viparis, the site's operator, states for its part that Pavilion 6 is HQE-certified (BREEAM for Pavilion 7, Effinergie+ for the hotel complex).

The charter's social section mentions a cleaning provider committed to an integration programme and the site's accessibility for people with reduced mobility. The website also offers a transport impact calculator produced with ADEME. However, the charter publishes neither a quantified carbon footprint for the show nor an ISO 20121 certification specific to the event. The venue, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, is operated by Viparis, which presents itself as ISO 20121 certified across all of its sites. Comexposium states, for its part, a decarbonisation trajectory aligned with the UFI's Net Zero Carbon 2050 objective. Note: the accessibility statement of the website declares it non-compliant.

Trajectory analysis

Siec is an established show: 21 editions to date in 2026, including an anniversary edition in June 2025. The calendar has shifted: September in 2023, May in 2024, then June at Porte de Versailles since 2025, in Pavilion 6 in 2026 and 2027, over two days in mid-week.

The content has shifted at the same time. The 2024 theme focused on the transformation of commercial sites, the 2026 one on experience: leisure, catering and events become, according to the organiser's results, starting points for projects rather than add-ons. The themed pavilions have changed from one edition to the next: Villes & Territoires, Marketing & Data, Solutions & Services and Loisirs in 2025; Enseignes, Loisirs, Marketing & Data and Startups & Innovations in 2026.

The organiser describes 2025 and 2026 as record editions. The published figures remain close from one year to the next: 4,450 participants in 2023, 4,400 in 2025, 4,320 in 2026, for 100 exhibitors, over 100, then over 115. The scope of these figures is not detailed, so the progression cannot be measured precisely.

Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (siec-online.com).
