Who exhibits
Typical profile
The leading international trade fair for equipment and expertise across the wine-growing, fruit-growing and market-gardening sectors. Five main segments: viticultural and winemaking equipment, processing equipment, packaging and logistics, services and consultancy, research and training. The target audience extends to agroecology, decarbonisation and the circular economy through the Agroecological Transition Space, supported by the DRAAF Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Chamber of Agriculture.
Notable exhibitors
Regular presence of the major viticultural equipment brands: INFACO (secateurs), Naïo Technologies (viticultural robotics), Pellenc, Bucher Vaslin, Della Toffola, Parsec Srl, Advanced Track & Trace, Wine & Tools. On the start-up side: 50+ young companies expected at the International Start-Up Village. The official up-to-date list is available on the exhibitors page.
Quality of attendees
A highly qualified profile: wine growers, fruit growers, market-gardening decision-makers, cooperatives, merchants, equipment manufacturers, technical institutes (IFV) and trade bodies. The leading international trio in 2024: Spain, Italy, Portugal. New delegations in 2024: Croatia, Georgia, Ukraine, Serbia, United Kingdom. Bernard Farges, chairman of the trade fair, positions Vinitech-Sifel as the sector's forward-looking meeting point against a backdrop of industry turbulence (the wine-growing crisis, environmental transitions).

- 6 weeks out: invitation of qualified contacts via the official platform, scheduling of B2B meetings
For the decision-making visitor
- Pre-register for a free badge before the deadline, paying thereafter (check the website)
- Select 2 to 3 priority focus areas (viticultural equipment, processing, packaging, agroecology): the trade fair is too broad to be covered in full in a single day
- Identify the 2024 Innovation Award winners in advance (results list online) to structure a technical itinerary
- Wine & Spirit Profiling: limited slots, book ahead
- Agroecology and export conferences: a detailed forward-looking programme is on the website, with high-density sessions
ESG policy & initiatives
Vinitech-Sifel is produced by Bordeaux Events And More (BEAM), operator of an exhibition centre located in a city of Bordeaux certified ISO 20121 as an "innovative and responsible destination" and named European Capital of Smart Tourism in 2022. The ISO 20121 certification is held by the Bordeaux destination as a whole: to be cross-checked with BEAM on the exact scope applied to the trade fair (internal note).
The trade fair's core ESG content runs through the Agroecological Transition Space, supported by the DRAAF Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Chamber of Agriculture, in collaboration with trade bodies, research institutes and associations. This space promotes sustainable practices, decarbonisation and the circular economy for the vine-wine and fruit-vegetable sectors.
On the content side, the agroecology conferences and the Innovation Awards showcase impactful technologies (energy-efficient viticultural robotics, autonomous secateurs, low-carbon fermentation analysis, digital traceability).

Trajectory analysis
Vinitech-Sifel has been going through a downward cycle in visitor volumes for the past two editions (-7% in 2022, -12% in 2024 vs a 45,000 target), against a backdrop of a structural crisis in the French wine-growing sector (vine grubbing-up, falling consumption, export pressures). Organiser BEAM nonetheless claims an improving quality of attendees: decision-makers and prescribers geared towards investment in equipment, automation and the environmental transition. The 2026 edition plays the repositioning card: a 25th anniversary edition, an expanded agroecological space, strengthened marketing support (a defensive focus following the 2024 review), and doubled Vinitech Innovation Tours (Croatia + Argentina) to embed the export dimension at a time when French wine growers are seeking growth levers outside Europe. The alternation with SITEVI Montpellier in odd years consolidates the French duopoly of technical vine-wine trade fairs.
