Key takeaways
- Les Rencontres Flotauto Paris are the French gathering point for corporate vehicle fleet management and mobility solutions: manufacturers, long-term rental companies, EV charging specialists, telematics, insurance, light commercial vehicle fit-out and road risk prevention, brought together over a single day.
- Organiser: Groupe Varenne Entreprise, via its brand Flottes Automobiles, a B2B trade press publisher specialising in corporate vehicles. The show was created in 2012 by the magazine.
- Next edition: Thursday 11 March 2027, from 8.30am to 7.00pm, at the Parc des Expositions Paris Le Bourget, gate L, 5 avenue du Maréchal Leclerc de Hauteclocque, 93440 Dugny.
- Results of the last edition (2026, 15th): 300 exhibitors including more than 40 manufacturers, 5,700 attendees, a record for the event, across 12,000 m².
- An entire hall, ChargeAuto, is devoted to electric vehicle charging: 70 suppliers and around fifty charging points exhibited at the last edition.
- Two regional spin-offs exist: Lyon since 2022 (La Sucrière, next edition on 8 October 2026) and Toulouse, launched on 3 June 2026 (100 exhibitors, 1,300 visitors) with a second edition on 3 June 2027 at Diagora Labège. This listing covers the Paris edition only.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The show's scope covers the corporate vehicle fleet end to end. It brings together manufacturers of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, long-term rental companies and financing players, fuel card and charging badge managers, charging infrastructure operators and installers, fleet management and embedded telematics software publishers, specialist insurers and brokers, light commercial vehicle fitters and bodybuilders, road safety training providers, remarketing and resale specialists, and alternative mobility operators (car sharing, service bikes and two-wheelers).
On the visitor side, the target is narrow and clearly identified: fleet managers from private companies as well as public fleets, buyers and purchasing directors, general services managers, mobility managers, finance and human resources departments for the company car policy side, and local authorities engaged in greening their fleet.
Notable exhibitors
The organiser does not publish a named list in advance: the list of participating companies is posted on the exhibitors page of the official website, which lists participants from the previous edition and will be updated for 2027. The only figure given for the last edition is the presence of more than 40 vehicle manufacturers among the 300 exhibitors.
One name stands out from the 2026 awards: the company Nelson, recognised with the Prix de l'Innovation for its Nelson Charge software, dedicated to managing electric fleet charging based on charging and telematics data.
Quality of the audience
The show's distinctive feature lies in its format: everything happens in a single day, from 8.30am to 7.00pm. There is no downtime and no quiet day, so attendance is concentrated into a short window, which produces a high density of contacts but requires exhibitors to organise their stand differently from a three- or four-day show.
The audience is made up almost entirely of fleet managers and direct decision makers, in a market where purchasing decisions concern volumes (fleet renewal, framework rental contracts, charging point rollouts) rather than single units. No OJS certification or third-party attendance audit is published for this event: the figures available are those reported by the organiser after each edition.
Events & community
Conference programme
The conference programme is a pillar of the day, on a par with the exhibition itself. The last edition featured 25 conferences and more than 80 expert and professional speakers. Recurring themes cover fleet electrification and charging rollout, tax and regulation applicable to corporate vehicles, TCO and cost optimisation, telematics and fleet data, light commercial vehicles and their fit-out, insurance and claims, road risk prevention and urban mobility.
These are complemented by workshops run by exhibitors and masterclasses delivered by trainers from the Institut du Management des Véhicules d'Entreprise (IMVE), the training body attached to Flottes Automobiles. The detailed programme for the 2027 edition, with session titles and speakers, had not yet been published at the time of writing.
The day is also structured around several non-conference features: an exhibition of around a hundred vehicles, guided tours of the vehicle and charging areas, free expert consultations on legal, regulatory and fleet management questions, real-condition vehicle test drive sessions, and a closing cocktail reception.
Awards and accolades
The Prix de l'Innovation rewards a technological innovation, a new offering or a project addressing new uses in fleet management and mobility. Eight entries are shortlisted by a panel of experts, made up of fleet managers and specialist journalists, for a three-minute pitch on the day of the show. The 2027 edition will be the 10th edition of the award.
The 2026 winner is Nelson, represented by its chairman Alfred Richard, for Nelson Charge.
Community & networks
The show is one of the touchpoints of a wider editorial ecosystem: the Flottes Automobiles magazine, published since 1994, the industry's annual supplier guide, IMVE training courses and expert publications from the same publisher. This lineage explains the format adopted, much closer to a day of content built around an exhibition than to a classic trade show.
Les Rencontres has expanded into the regions since 2022 with the Lyon edition, held every autumn at La Sucrière and gathering around 125 exhibitors, also in a one-day format. A third location was launched in Toulouse on 3 June 2026, at Diagora Labège (100 exhibitors, 1,300 visitors for this first edition), with a second edition announced for 3 June 2027 and the ambition of covering the South-West ecosystem. The three events share the same brand and the same organiser, but remain distinct events, with their own dates, venues and scale.
For a fleet manager, the event sits at the crossroads of several sectors already covered by dedicated trade shows: after-sales and maintenance with Equip Auto Paris, industrial vehicles and road transport with Solutrans, and public transport with Transports Publics. Flotauto is the only one to address the topic from the fleet manager's angle.
On site: what you need to know
For access, parking and the site environment, see the venue listing: Parc des Expositions Paris Le Bourget. The show entrance is via gate L, 5 avenue du Maréchal Leclerc de Hauteclocque, 93440 Dugny.
By public transport, access is via RER B, Le Bourget station, followed by a free Flotauto shuttle running from 6.30am to 8.00pm, or by bus 133, La Comète stop. By car, access is via the A1 motorway, exit 5, or via the RN2. The venue has 8,000 parking spaces, charged at €0.80 per 15-minute period, with a day rate of €20.
Visitor registration for the 2027 edition had not yet opened at the time of writing: the website offers an alert sign-up for its opening. The organiser's direct contacts are 01 53 24 24 11 for visitors and 01 53 24 24 12 for exhibitors.
How much it costs to exhibit
The organiser does not publish any exhibitor price list: stands are sold on a quote basis by the sales team, reachable at 01 53 24 24 12 or at exposer@rencontres-flotauto.com. No figure can therefore be given here without risking being misleading.
Two factors nonetheless shape an exhibitor's budget for this event, and are worth anticipating. First, the single-day format concentrates all costs not tied to floor space (build, staffing, transport, team accommodation) into a very short window, which mechanically improves the cost-per-day-of-presence ratio but leaves little margin for error in preparation. Second, the nature of the show pushes exhibitors to display vehicles or heavy equipment, including charging points: the logistics line item, transport, lifting and chocking, weighs more heavily than at a standard services trade show.
Preparing your visit
For the exhibitor
- Request the sales pack early: at a one-day show, the best pitches and the workshop or conference slots go long before the event.
- Decide from the outset between a standard exhibition presence and a vehicle or charging-point presence, which determines the floor space required, the build schedule and the logistics budget.
- Consider entering the Prix de l'Innovation if the offering on show is genuinely new: only eight entries are shortlisted, and the three-minute pitch offers exposure out of proportion to its cost.
- Plan a fast qualification process on the stand: footfall is concentrated into a single day, with clear peaks around breaks and the end of conference sessions.
- Check the hall's constraints for bringing in vehicles and charging points, and align the build schedule with the stand contractor ahead of the quiet period in February.
For the decision-making visitor
- Block out the whole day: the conference programme, exhibitor workshops and vehicle exhibition cannot be covered in half a day.
- Identify the useful conference sessions before coming, as soon as the programme is published: this is the part of the show that brings the most value to a fleet manager, particularly on tax and regulation, which change every year.
- Use the free expert consultations for one-off compliance or vehicle policy questions, rather than bringing in an outside adviser.
- Focus the visit to the ChargeAuto hall if electrification is the topic: a direct comparison between installers, charging point operators and supervision solutions is hard to find elsewhere.
- Book vehicle test drive slots in advance, as availability is limited by the number of vehicles available on the day.
Policy & CSR initiatives
Fleet greening is the central theme of the show's editorial content: electrification, charging infrastructure, reducing fleet footprint. This is a programme topic, to be distinguished from an organisational commitment by the event itself. Neither the show's website nor its organiser's website publishes a formalised CSR policy, a carbon footprint report for the event, or an ISO 20121 certification specific to Les Rencontres Flotauto.
The verifiable guarantees come from the venue. The Parc des Expositions Paris Le Bourget is operated by Viparis, the world's leading events industry player to have obtained ISO 20121 certification across all its sites and activities, and which structures its approach around the Better Events 2030 strategy.
At the Le Bourget site itself, the measures in place are concrete: hall 3 is HQE-certified, the electricity supplied has come from renewable sources since January 2018, 100% of spaces are equipped with dual-stream recycling bins, hall 3's LED lighting is linked to presence detectors, the boiler rooms run on low-consumption condensing systems and the plumbing fittings are fitted with flow reducers. Beehives have been installed on a bank within the venue. The site is accessible to people with reduced mobility across its entire perimeter and offers a free shuttle to the airport.
Viparis also provides organisers with a CSR guide covering, among other things, eco-designed stands, material reuse partnerships and electrical packages available from as low as 1 kW, all levers directly usable by an exhibitor looking to limit the footprint of its presence.

Trajectory analysis
The show changed scale in 2026. The move from the Grande Halle de la Villette to the Parc des Expositions Paris Le Bourget came with a jump from 250 to 300 exhibitors and 12,000 m² of exhibition space, along with a calendar shift from early February to early March. Attendance followed, from 5,500 to 5,700 attendees, but in a much smaller proportion than floor space: the gain went to the space given to vehicles and demonstrations, not to visitor volume.
This is consistent with the event's logic. In a market where the number of fleet managers is finite, growth cannot come from raw attendance but from what can be shown on site: the ChargeAuto hall and its 70 suppliers, the light commercial vehicle and fit-out area opened in 2026, real-condition test drives. For an exhibitor, this means competition is less about stand visibility than about the ability to let visitors handle a product.
The second shift is regionalisation. After Lyon in 2022, the opening of Toulouse in June 2027 reflects a bet that demand exists outside the Paris region, on tighter formats. For a national supplier, the question becomes one of trade-off between a single Paris presence and coverage across three dates spread through the year.
The dates for the 2028 edition had not been announced at the time of writing.
